Sounds to me like Ford was a devoted repeat reader of his own college press clippings that heavily promoted him as a 1st round worthy selection. Of course, the vast majority of Bills fans also believed those clippings and at the end of April 2019, were very enthusiastic about his selection. I used the Wayback machine for for a glimpse of actual vs today’s rewritten history. Ford continued to read his press clippings long after their relevance collapsed, whereas Bills fans currently deny that they ever would have believed any of those clippings if not for the extraordinary incompetence of the GM that has concurrently built the best roster in football. Meanwhile, I’m real happy we have Kromer and confident he’s making lemonade.

Mancz had surgery on an ankle while with the Texans and was IR’d by the Fins for an ankle. No idea if it was the same ankle or if yesterday’s injury was a recurrence of previous injuries. Reporters seem to think we only have one of those thangs or maybe just never made it through ankle school.

Brown isn’t there yet. McDermott just talk about bringing him along over the next ‘days and weeks’. I don’t think you could even plan on him as the float for awhile. Mancz just got hurt in practice. No Idea how bad. We are suddenly light.

“All” of our STs did not sit. On our 3rd kickoff, Kumerow waved goodbye to the returner at the 18. In a later KO, he made/assisted the tackle at the 33. Probably was in there for more, but I stopped looking. McCloud - probably will not make the roster -did not wrap up on the 2nd KO. If he had, they would’ve started at the 12. So there was a mix of players.
