1) If I knew I had an STD, then had unprotected sex, I’d very likely be guilty of a crime. 2) If I then took the same girl to a room to have sex with some of my teammates, I’d be deliberately infecting my teammates. #1 would be evil/stupid/self destructive #2 a player that deliberately hurts his own football team is a pretty bad teammate. The plaintiff’s attorney seems a bit slippery/greasy. My gut says she did not choose this guy. Quite possible he was selected by the father and is a ‘money hammer’, whereas the girl herself may be looking for justice. She may never get closure out of this mess.

If the DA does decide to proceed with charges, jury selection would seem to be difficult with nonstop lawyer/media coverage.

I wonder if the typical rookie NFL contract includes any language about ‘full disclosure’. Regardless of eventual outcome, the fact that he didn’t lay this all out to the Bills months ago, does not lead me to trust him.

What would be the motive for a woman in California to announce to multiple people that she was 18?

I had about 50 pages of catch up to gloss through, so if this has been covered, just disregard. 1) I assume about every person in California knows that the legal age for drinking is 21. 2) I assume that less than everyone knows that the age of consent is 18. 3) Why would this girl be proclaiming her age as 18? If she did, it would be as if saying ‘I am legal for sex.’ 4) Do kids nowadays actually announce their age to advertise they are legal for sex? I am old as dirt but in my day, announcing age was for drinking, not sex availability. Makes me question the truthfulness all of these ‘she said 18’ witnesses. 5) An observation - Injuries on her neck appear to be hickys as opposed to strangle marks. 6) Was she a regular on this ‘party circuit’? I think that will be brought up (if known) by Araiza’s attorney. 7) Araiza said nothing to the Bills for months about this cluster*****? Regardless of how this turns out, I don’t like that about him, at all. There is a lot of gray.

With Mancz, Doyle & Brown all being some variation of the walking wounded, I think there should be 1 additional lineman. Probably Hart. Early in the season, with higher temps, the ball will carry so I think Bass will get the go ahead to pound the ball on kickoffs. This will allow cutting/trading Matekevich for the cap savings. Smiley will have a few weeks to get the kickoff return team in order. Kumerow is out for soreness though I think Hodgins has come close enough anyway for them to say goodbye to Kumerow. Hodgins will still need to lay it all out there on Friday. so I think Kumerow, Matekevich are gone replace with Hart and Spector. be nice to figure out a way for Cam Lewis to stick. He’s a good ball player.

Fins fans/Tua may have a rough start to the year. their lineup: vs Pats @ Ravens Vs Bills @ Cincinnati I’ll be pulling for the Pats (1st time ever). They may start the year at 0-4. The Tua love could be short lived.
