better resume?..bartender corrupt politician...nope. she opposed amazon headquarters in ny that would have employed thousands and injected millions of dollars in tax revenue and the surrounding economy. not a amazon fan but money and new jobs are a good thing for your city, if your not a fool. her green new deal was a comedy sketch. rebuild every building to be energy efficient ect ect lol. scientist and economist saw that was a joke and blew it off what kind of idiot would remake the economy while a bunch of uncertainty in a...global...shutdown...has...yet....to...recov..oh riiight. of coarse she's been on the side of villianizing police and abolishing prisons, laxing bail and punishments. thats worked out very well for the skyrocketing ny crime rate and countless victims that have endured tragedy in ny. i mean it the countless "victims" are the criminals according to her. she's pushed the established democrats to enact progressive ideas regardless of party lines like her campaign promised..just kidding, she's a fraud and routinley falls in line. the kids in cages that she cried for! surely she is condemning them living under bridges, being left out in the desert or overpopulating...cages during a pandemic! whats that? she changed them to "migrant facilities" now? renaming them has saved these people! god bless aoc. a "leader" hides in a closet and lies about how she "survived" her "imminent" danger being nowhere close to it. but she got alot of tik toker fans that enjoy her video game sessions and shes pretty good at collecting money for other peoples districts. ill give her that. she will never see your post and is not interested in a date. its ok to acknowledge the truth about her policies. 😂😅🤣

hey there i finally got a bit of time. first im not a economist as it is a very complex system but ill give my thoughts. it seems that you make a argument and then give your own counter point. you say we are the source for the worlds currency and that is a unique position. you then go on to say china is challenging this position, and one would be foolish to think they arent gaining major ground. this unique position is not some god given thing that america can and will always hold. just as quickly as the destruction of europe and industrialization gave it to us it can be lost relatively quickly. printing money at a alarming rate just excellerates a decline as basic supply and demand results in devaluation. history is full of countries where they seemed to be in very good economic positions only to have their comfortability pulled from under them, as they use their currency as kindling because fire became more valuable to ones survival. the fact you trust the "official" inflation rates is not a good gauge. everyone knows the fed ARTIFICIALLY keeps it low, as raising it would put a grinding halt to flow. acquiring loans is the life blood of the economy. ask a new home owner who has seen the price of wood skyrocket and can no longer finish. a low income family who has to pay for higher gas and food bills. the list is growing and inflation is hitting people hard yet "utilizing this unique position" seems to not be executed with extreme caution. a global pandemic and countries that put the brakes on their economies is also a unique position. one the world has not seen in the same time frame you speak of. so we should not use the past for accuracy on effects and outcomes. i realize the inflation hitting certain segments is caused by a myriad but spending..sorry BORROWING, TRILLIONS of more dollars before you have even seen the full effects and have yet to recover is beyond foolish. especially for things that are not guaranteed to promote economic growth/ recovery. let the vaccines work, examine the devastation closely and make transparent, targeted bills to get us back on track and we can then discuss huge " i think this will help but who really knows" partisan spending policies riddled with earmarks. as for us being so much more educated today. i think your severely overestimating. for instance, a long time trump hater and liberal supporter john oliver..who is selling "huge budget bills are ok" in his vid, because thats what biden is pushing, even has to admit that our top economists do not truley understand the tipping point at which hyperinflation would destroy our currency, but lets continue to push bills that tilt us towards this outcome. if, god forbid, it hits. theres no coming back. i dont assume it has been a concern by either side for a very long time. they are both guilty and probably will continue until collapse but [tax the rich] is not some magic that will fix the problems alone, the rich do not just sit back and give away their wealth. they move to more profitable countries and workforces...back to that whole china problem and what can excellerate it. the poorest person here lives a life those in truley economic devastated countries could only dream. ask the southern boarder. everything has a cost and free money costs us the value of earned. there is no easy fix as, like i said, its complex. i just dont think its wise addressing it by borrowing on unheard of scales ends well. it is playing with with very dangerous fire that can consume EVERYONE. good things never end, until it does. we should stop acting like it cant happen. we have cities like detroit that show how fragile our own micro boom to bust economies can be. sorry for the rant or if youve discussed these things already in the thread. just my 2 cents/ metal antiques that used to be worth something 😉 -

always willing to debate with someone that takes a reasonable stance and is willing to put effort into a conversation. we may not agree but there is too few of people simply hearing out the other side. i will reply to your other reply when i have time. its a bit to go through. -
The foundation under Dr. Fauci is starting to crack...

its a shame we live in a world where you have to have the guts to put your channel on the line just to give out a different perspective but the cencorship seems to be laxing as anything close to this talk would have been pulled immediately. -
yeah i spent alot of time doing reseach papers on here only to get a "nuh uh". had a few good convos on here where i learned alot and so did the other participant. i could tell from the start this would not be one of them. so he can have the "not gunna back it up" victory. it would not have changed the outcome regardless.

like i said "its" a waste of time. the fact you have no clue what the f- im talking about means you already get to much of your information on message boards. just know it was a horrable example. stop defending it. it doesnt look good.
-
i guess you can. so a monopoly used its power to destroy its competition under false pretenses and because it ultimately rebuilt itself from the ground up... nevermind, its a waste of time.

thats a quick assesment on a ton of factors involved. simply look at what i pointed out and you can go all around the planet to pick and choose which bar graph affirms what story you want to tell. texas and florida had the guts against all those that said it would doom them all. thats not hyperbolic. they are proving the narrative wrong. if you dont think the media was not chomping at the bit to try and pull some disaster from them, your crazy. still waiting. the fact they havent, and still have not celebrated the risk and good decisions they made that should now be FOLLOWED tells me all i need to know. should tell you too. people are under some illusion that the government mandates and shutdowns were a requirement otherwise us fools will walk around as if we have no friends and loved ones to look after. and we can't decide how to stay safe if not forced by government oversight. forget the hypocracy of small buisness being more "dangerous" then giant box retail ECT. ECT.ECT.... the list is long. if you want to walk alone in a park and wear a mask like was idiotically mandated..GO AHEAD. want to quit GREAT your right where you should be either way. home and safe. if you feel uncomfortable in a area because they arent taking precautions DO NOT ENTER, QUARANTINE. i dont need sweden. i work in a factory with 1500 union members through this because it was deemed essential from the start. was i nervous? yes, at first. i personally took alot of precaution that were NOT MANDATED to keep my friends and family safe. regardless. ask me if i wished i got laid off. i i prefered sitting around hoping for unemployment to take care of my family with constant worry if my place would ever come back. as i patiently wait when poppa government will decide to eventually dictate my families future. you got my answer. but millions of others could never make that choice and people celebrated it. all while condemning those who did not wish that fate. condemning, all while getting their needs filled by sacrificial essentials. now they want to point at the economic impact effects that hurt us all and say...that's your fault too? that doesn't compute. no matter what graph you wish to show me.
-
so trump wanted people to take precautions but premotes people to make their own choices on their safety to save the economy. democrats: NO! force lockdowns! your killing people! lives are more important then economy! republicans gov followed guidances but left things open....no worse in covid. BOOOO! Democrats lock down regardless of facts and statistics and flood the economy with freshly printed money. YAAAAY! liberal gov's under investigation and recalls. economy suffers major issues including inflation and unemployment from arbitrary lockdowns and free money. LOOK AT THE MESS SOMEONE ELSE MADE! lol you cant make this stuff up. 🤔

biden just gave his press speech. everything is fine. go back to sleep.

Explosion In Jerusalem
Buffarukus replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
this may all be rhetoric but there were the begining signs suggested under the middle east peace accords signed last year. most nations did not even identify Israel as a state. the deals suggested this was different where at the very least dialog and trade would start beween the nations in the agreement. thats a start. -
i agree with this. the problem always comes down to the earmarks and pet projects. if you propose a straight forward act that addresses the issue then its pretty hard to attack but both sides always add in the bonuses and the other side says THIS is why it should be blocked. people on both sides need to demand all the outside stuff stays out. address it independently and stop hiding it in bills so things can actually get accomplished. but thats rarley the objective it seems.

there have been so many. secoriea turner a 8 year old little girl this young man another murdered right next to the george floyd memorial site...again met with resistance to officers trying to solve the crime. https://www.cbs58.com/news/one-person-killed-in-shooting-at-george-floyd-memorial-site-in-minneapolis if you dig deep enough you can find black people that have had enough of the violence and are not afraid to address it honestly. i truly hope one day people that say black lives matter, mean it in every context. I've tryed bringing up the topic several times here and its met with deflections and silence so I've given up.

maybe i missed where that was clarified? even if you say black earnings is significantly lower...lets say minimum wage. your telling me if a law was enacted that doubled a household income. provided full time child care within the home including lessons only a parent could provide. included supplemental insurance coverage that could help pay for spouse and child needs even i only 1 parent could obtain them then you have your answer. pretty sure you would say this is a great life altering law. that law would not make a difference at the very least in the childs life? if you want to know why single parenting is so rampant take a good look at the incentives paid for it. can you make more on government assistance and receive more benefits if you have a combined income or separate? if you are considered and act as separate entities do you have incentive to stay as a nuclear family even though you have to "pretend" you are not together. is there culturally any call to hold men acountable? seeing it less and less regardless of skin color. seeing MTV fetishizing young motherhood and zero worries about pregnancy at a young age as no worries..the system will prevent you from any hardships from life altering "mistakes". government assistance will pick up where a father should be responsable. run along young man and be free of consequences. its funny how people use stats for one thing then ignore for another. whats the rate between a high schools grad and a drop out? whats the rate for a college grad to a drop out? whats the drop out rate in the inner city? this is one of the reason for disparity. somthing a individual could change themselves. the left doesnt like these as they force self reflection and hard work. plenty more to talk about but its much easier to say..your fault. not saying there isnt a disparity but to have a honest conversation you cant just say there a disparity..period. id take you up on this. no "banter" involved.

last i heard they give out emmy's and oscars for that. does your company need these? 😅

What was your worst take ever?
Buffarukus replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
josh allen is a big athletic inaccurate guy. we just got done with a big athletic inaccurate guy called EJ manual. not again! i was hoping baker would somehow drop. i doubted the football gods wisdom. the alcohol poisoning ritual was performed to ask for forgiveness directly. -
so far what i see is he seems hesitant to go down hill and smash guys in the hole hes responsable for. he tends to stop and wait for the target to meet him giving guys a few free yards. his sideline to sideline is phenomenal. i did expect him to have a bigger impact in coverage in thr middle. i have a feeling this year will unlock his full potetial we have been waiting for. fully healthy and everyone in their proper roles. joshes contract is coming so if mcbean think hes their kuelchy. extend him NOW asap before he puts up the monster season and the price skyrockets like i think it will.

Spencer Brown a Lee smith fill in?
Buffarukus replied to Buffarukus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah i can see that. im sure its alot to take in especially being raw. nothing better to learn if your progressing then live ammo and hes not practicing during games so why not give him reps. a big diff between the two is also dt and rb are completely diff. lee smith was a blocker on the edge who occasionally caught a pass. i think they are similar enough where he can practice exactly what hes learning and athletic enough to leak out for a (lee smith) type pass a time or two. if hes a liability then it is what it is. but def worth a serious look just for a 6 foot 8 target jump ball mismatch. id also like to know why nfl teams cant find centers that can long snap. millions for a single action. things like that when added up save critical roster spots and cap for teams on heavy qb contracts. thats all im saying. get creative and keep talent on the field when you can. losing a poyer for a few million cause you have to pay a blocking te and fb for limited plays or keeping a talented young backup on the bench seems like a old way of thinking. maybe im wrong -
