  1. biden just gave his press speech. everything is fine. go back to sleep.
  2. this may all be rhetoric but there were the begining signs suggested under the middle east peace accords signed last year. most nations did not even identify Israel as a state. the deals suggested this was different where at the very least dialog and trade would start beween the nations in the agreement. thats a start.
  3. i agree with this. the problem always comes down to the earmarks and pet projects. if you propose a straight forward act that addresses the issue then its pretty hard to attack but both sides always add in the bonuses and the other side says THIS is why it should be blocked. people on both sides need to demand all the outside stuff stays out. address it independently and stop hiding it in bills so things can actually get accomplished. but thats rarley the objective it seems.
  4. i think hes talking about the republicans basically stating their objective was to block everything coming out of that administration. not to put words in his mouth and not sure if thats what happened as it was passed..was it not?

  6. there have been so many. secoriea turner a 8 year old little girl this young man another murdered right next to the george floyd memorial site...again met with resistance to officers trying to solve the crime. https://www.cbs58.com/news/one-person-killed-in-shooting-at-george-floyd-memorial-site-in-minneapolis if you dig deep enough you can find black people that have had enough of the violence and are not afraid to address it honestly. i truly hope one day people that say black lives matter, mean it in every context. I've tryed bringing up the topic several times here and its met with deflections and silence so I've given up.
  7. maybe i missed where that was clarified? even if you say black earnings is significantly lower...lets say minimum wage. your telling me if a law was enacted that doubled a household income. provided full time child care within the home including lessons only a parent could provide. included supplemental insurance coverage that could help pay for spouse and child needs even i only 1 parent could obtain them then you have your answer. pretty sure you would say this is a great life altering law. that law would not make a difference at the very least in the childs life? if you want to know why single parenting is so rampant take a good look at the incentives paid for it. can you make more on government assistance and receive more benefits if you have a combined income or separate? if you are considered and act as separate entities do you have incentive to stay as a nuclear family even though you have to "pretend" you are not together. is there culturally any call to hold men acountable? seeing it less and less regardless of skin color. seeing MTV fetishizing young motherhood and zero worries about pregnancy at a young age as no worries..the system will prevent you from any hardships from life altering "mistakes". government assistance will pick up where a father should be responsable. run along young man and be free of consequences. its funny how people use stats for one thing then ignore for another. whats the rate between a high schools grad and a drop out? whats the rate for a college grad to a drop out? whats the drop out rate in the inner city? this is one of the reason for disparity. somthing a individual could change themselves. the left doesnt like these as they force self reflection and hard work. plenty more to talk about but its much easier to say..your fault. not saying there isnt a disparity but to have a honest conversation you cant just say there a disparity..period. id take you up on this. no "banter" involved.
  8. last i heard they give out emmy's and oscars for that. does your company need these? 😅
  9. josh allen is a big athletic inaccurate guy. we just got done with a big athletic inaccurate guy called EJ manual. not again! i was hoping baker would somehow drop. i doubted the football gods wisdom. the alcohol poisoning ritual was performed to ask for forgiveness directly.
  10. so far what i see is he seems hesitant to go down hill and smash guys in the hole hes responsable for. he tends to stop and wait for the target to meet him giving guys a few free yards. his sideline to sideline is phenomenal. i did expect him to have a bigger impact in coverage in thr middle. i have a feeling this year will unlock his full potetial we have been waiting for. fully healthy and everyone in their proper roles. joshes contract is coming so if mcbean think hes their kuelchy. extend him NOW asap before he puts up the monster season and the price skyrockets like i think it will.
  11. yeah i can see that. im sure its alot to take in especially being raw. nothing better to learn if your progressing then live ammo and hes not practicing during games so why not give him reps. a big diff between the two is also dt and rb are completely diff. lee smith was a blocker on the edge who occasionally caught a pass. i think they are similar enough where he can practice exactly what hes learning and athletic enough to leak out for a (lee smith) type pass a time or two. if hes a liability then it is what it is. but def worth a serious look just for a 6 foot 8 target jump ball mismatch. id also like to know why nfl teams cant find centers that can long snap. millions for a single action. things like that when added up save critical roster spots and cap for teams on heavy qb contracts. thats all im saying. get creative and keep talent on the field when you can. losing a poyer for a few million cause you have to pay a blocking te and fb for limited plays or keeping a talented young backup on the bench seems like a old way of thinking. maybe im wrong
  12. what if josh allen had a tyreek hill? hmmmmmm
  13. yeah there are quite a few people that literally want guys to switch positions. not what im saying. ill try and change it. edit: done hopefully "fill in" explains it better then "replacement".
  14. switch out allen with knox moss with star ramming up the middle easy td 😉
  15. this is absolutely what im talking about. creative thinking. if a pass rusher is crushing you all game instead of max protecting and having a te fuctionally become a lineman...PUT IN A LINEMAN. its amazing how stringent teams have been with roles. i understand complexity and formations but the more you can diversify a roster the less cap hits you take for jobs that see little if any playing time. when we start having to shed cap space for josh and quality players cant be retained paying a TE 9 million to block when you have a stable of backup linemen who specialize in blocking makes less sense then, no hes a tackle and guard..thats all.
  16. to be honest i did say replacement in the title so people may be a quick reaction to thinking i want him as a starting te.
  17. i got some negative feedback from a fanbase that watched a starting DT get short yard reps at RB and do pretty well. im crazy.
  18. ok maybe i didnt explain well. hes not a TE and hes not going to be their long term. your utilizing your roster to fill specialty roles instead of being on the bench all game. thats all. when he steps into be a starter role he onviously cannot be a shortyardage TE.
  19. could be. i just dont understand people saying its crazy. utilize any versatility you can to get guys in games instead of sitting on the sidelines and if they show promise thats cap savings for specialist that play limited roles anyways two positions? both primarily block. i dont know how complicated it is to trickle out for a pass but short yardage playing the end of the line cant be that different. if thats the case then having these D linemen playing all over the line is too much as well.
  20. im not turning anyone into anything. this is about giving him reps and utilizing his abilities in games NOW.
  21. my belief if hes a project then get him reps in games! if he cant block better then lee smith then hes got a long way to go to become a starting tackle.
  22. why is that? youd rather have spencer sit the bench then do essentially what smith did and block? a guard cant clear a hole for a rb? ok
  23. i brought this up in the draft thread and wanted to get a larger take. spencer can set the edge and block better. can run faster? was a former te. can he hang on to the ball? if so, give him reps on big packages for short yardage and redzones and toss the kid some jump balls, whos stopping that? i think teams, especially ones that have to pay high caliber qbs, need to become creative in player usage and save as much as possible not paying for specialty roles. it explains the versatility of D linemen we are picking up as noone is going to be set at a particular position and you can plug in as needed. get a backup guard whos athletic to spot in as fb. make sure your backup wr can field kicks. NEVER pay a kickoff specialist 🙄 i think this is going to have to be the way teams deal with monster qb contracts and the bills are going to experiment. only thing i dont like is i want to see sweeny play more reps. he had very good production before knox was given the #1 spot then was left on the bench. any development there? agree disagree? any other positions you can think of that could have versatility? are injury concerns enough to not set teams up this way?
  24. i agree. i think this is the plan. imagine a jump ball in the redzone to this guy. throw him in there while he develops it will get him good reps and be a pretty unique tool to use in situations.
  25. am i nuts or is this he a good fit for a lee smith replacement. i hear he was a former te is huge and has speed in this thread. in on heavy packages and can catch a pass here or there?
