  1. could be. i just dont understand people saying its crazy. utilize any versatility you can to get guys in games instead of sitting on the sidelines and if they show promise thats cap savings for specialist that play limited roles anyways two positions? both primarily block. i dont know how complicated it is to trickle out for a pass but short yardage playing the end of the line cant be that different. if thats the case then having these D linemen playing all over the line is too much as well.
  2. im not turning anyone into anything. this is about giving him reps and utilizing his abilities in games NOW.
  3. my belief if hes a project then get him reps in games! if he cant block better then lee smith then hes got a long way to go to become a starting tackle.
  4. why is that? youd rather have spencer sit the bench then do essentially what smith did and block? a guard cant clear a hole for a rb? ok
  5. i brought this up in the draft thread and wanted to get a larger take. spencer can set the edge and block better. can run faster? was a former te. can he hang on to the ball? if so, give him reps on big packages for short yardage and redzones and toss the kid some jump balls, whos stopping that? i think teams, especially ones that have to pay high caliber qbs, need to become creative in player usage and save as much as possible not paying for specialty roles. it explains the versatility of D linemen we are picking up as noone is going to be set at a particular position and you can plug in as needed. get a backup guard whos athletic to spot in as fb. make sure your backup wr can field kicks. NEVER pay a kickoff specialist 🙄 i think this is going to have to be the way teams deal with monster qb contracts and the bills are going to experiment. only thing i dont like is i want to see sweeny play more reps. he had very good production before knox was given the #1 spot then was left on the bench. any development there? agree disagree? any other positions you can think of that could have versatility? are injury concerns enough to not set teams up this way?
  6. i agree. i think this is the plan. imagine a jump ball in the redzone to this guy. throw him in there while he develops it will get him good reps and be a pretty unique tool to use in situations.
  7. am i nuts or is this he a good fit for a lee smith replacement. i hear he was a former te is huge and has speed in this thread. in on heavy packages and can catch a pass here or there?
  8. oh damn see we all said trump, but your saying it was the Democrats who imposed authorative lockdowns even after evidence showed they were ineffective and crippled their economies...leading to desperation. and now their villanization of officers and lenient DAs are leading to laws not be prosecuted and enforcement not being used? man that some street level real talk. thank you.
  9. go ahead so i can explain it to my neighborhood. we are all "street level" and are really confused right now.
  10. hes talking about the guy who advocates the 1/3 lockdown that he says attributes to unemployment that is responsable for the crime rise....that will take care of itself with less police. turn off the news, its in your head.
  11. so when crime goes up...just let it. its natural and will take care of itself eventually. gotcha. it makes perfect sense. im sure the victims feel different but whatever, pandemic. nothings changed for the guy in flipflops who can walk to the local frogert stand.
  12. oh ok. ill let the people know from the uptick in murders in my city its the boogeymen in their heads and we need less police. thanks for the clarification.
  13. so if you know this why do you think rising violence and lack of police is not concerning for us that live in them?
  14. where do you live again? curious to who thinks the violence in cities are laugh out loud funny?
  15. nothing to do with the topic but my idea is to link companies success to wages. if you are some huge corporation with billions of dollars in profit your min wage should be tied to the workforce you employ. ford paid well a above wage and top tier benefits. i think that's a decent compromise that has giant corporations giving back to the people and allows startups a opportunity to grow with unskilled labor and low overhead. increasing the min wage...for those who are already successful.
  16. i think your falling in a trap here. giving praise for relief to a crisis that the dems had major negative effects. facts and statistics are out showing states that opened are not seeing what the democrats constantly said would be the outcome. at this point texas and florida should be consumed by covid. that STILL is not changing their tactics and lies. they were WRONG. not only wrong but perfectly ok with vilifying anyone who disagreed basically calling them irresponsable murders ect. ect. on top of that you have govenors who not only were wrong but activley made the situation much worse. staying indoors IS the way to spread it most effectively. not going outside and being active is the perfect way to produce more of the people most likely to be hospitalized..obesity is the single most important factor along with a strange connection to VIT D, the sun, for young people. but as for old. the democrats provided death sentances and im not being hyporbolic. they FORCED the population that a toddler would know would be most susceptible to die for ANY virus..even a cold back into nursing homes. no mistake no hindsight 20/20 because they hid the data but most importantly, they pulled their own loved ones OUT. thats not a accident. so saying the Rs voted ppp down is kind of generalizing. id have to see what was in it and why they were so against it to determine if they were wrong. remeber pelosi stood by playing games for votes all last year. how much suffering and buisness could have been avoided or at least put squarely at the feet of rep, she didn't want to take that chance..elections. as for the pandemic response and the "relief". im glad people got it but to say the dems get any credit for this shtshow. ill never forgive them let alone give them any credit for the small mop they offered to the giant mess they added to a already terrable situation. ppp does not address the small buisnesses gone forever. the hypocracy of box chains being able to consolidate huge amounts of wealth and power. the mobilization of revenue away from dem states leaving those who had to stay behind to pick up the tab with a crazy amount of taxes and home "reassments" to pay the price for these decisions....and some are still issuing them! if this isnt reason to go independant then not sure what standards democrats really have. biden has a +50% approval rate?! ok. sorry for the tangent. i know this is WAY off topic you wanted to discuss. this needs attention in every thread by anyone not to biased to look at the situation that been ignored by to many for to long.
  17. maybe they have come out and said they are against peaceful protest. in most the rhetoric ive heard they stand by it even as it routinley resulted in violence. i could be wrong. scare tactic? biden has litterally said it. either way it answers your question. no i think your wrong. scare tactic means just that. democrats have sent police over to buisnesses and places of gather and fined, arrested, and padlocked people into submission. there are dozens of examples. the police have been defunded/abolished in areas..leaving to crime spikes that they have had to backpedal from. if that's a scare tactic it certainly scared the innocent victims paying the price. as for student loan debt. i have one. if i was to choose to have that debt wiped out or address the cause of the crisis. guaranteed loans, non bankruptable forgiveness, deferments that ALWAYS add more debt with interest still accruing. majors offered that have no tangable comparability to a actual career that can pay off said debt. id choose solving the problem. its just a expensive bandaid to start the crisis over. thats my is my issue with left policies. i know i used to champion them. they all address the result of a problem but never the cause to begin with. more people would be on board with these. but that involves going after school lobbiest and teachers unions and of coarse, bankers. that cant happen by either side so keep kicking the can including adding more debt nationally to "fix" the crisis of [ insert name ]
  18. wow laughing at that? your sick. i dont think that was right. but lets not act like arson wasnt attempted on it.. in a peaceful way of coarse. theres a year full of missing violent context to this inncodent. https://www.washingtonpost.com/religion/2020/06/05/st-johns-episcopal-church-historic-church-next-white-house-set-fire-during-protests/ should i start laughing now?
  19. the right to peacefully assemble. the right to bear arms. the concern about boarder security the right for individuals to go outside and have a buisness that the government does not shut down.
  20. i agree that trump was divisive. he talked way to much and tweeted even more. the biden asmin is showing us all what you can achieve/destroy when you simply ignore the responsibility. hide from the press and circle back for a indefinite amount of time is a policy that we can expect from now on because its working so effectivley on these people. but how they dont see your point after "lists" were being talked about. how entire app were removed before any evidence found. as 2 impeachments and 2 investigations were made to root out "the others" no matter where they hide based on lies and false evidence and STILL think its mostly the right? yikes😬 not only that. they have not even liked their own. a lifetime of governance that included some of the very legislation they are condemning. a career of working with the police state to incarcerate the poor up to and including blocking evidence that would set a innocent man free. they conned people into believing a man who was nothing more then a reality tv star created all these issues that must be dismantled in a period of less then 4 years. talk about a con and it wasnt even executed well. at the very least hold them accountable for what they have done. these people erased their past and constructed them as heroes!
  21. by the way this is not a yes no answer. ive been in courses where a teacher had premade videos teach the course and computer program that corrected homework. teachers that were absent 75% of a semester for a public speaking class. had such a huge curve no one was required to actually pass. I'd say no. then there were amazing teachers that put their all into each class and made free time for anyone struggling needing extra tutoring. that's not easy but its appreciated. id say yes.
  22. this is the philosophy. dont raise people up to reach a higher standard, bring everyone else down. dont fix the issue at the source, remove the result so it can continue to happen. put blame on those who succeed instead of targeting why some are not. keep pointing fingers at others for problems so you never have to do the actual work of solving it. someone else should be responsable for it. motivation, self reflection and hard work must be avoided at all cost.
  23. remebering i was super pissed he wasn't even concidered when he was activley petitioning to come here when we needed a coordinator and i believe right after he won the broncos a superbowl. was that the same year!?
  24. i choose rex ryan. having 12 guys on the field seemed to be a real advantage defensively. if the refs just stopped questioning it. it would have been the best defense ever. the 10 man defense was also great! kept o coordinators up at night wondering why we were so confident. mental games all over the field baby!
