Ya know... this is such an awesome point. I've been thinking a lot about how lucky Mahomes has been over the years to have 2 of the greatest YAC players in the league in Kelce and Hill. Hill is obviously gone now, but I think Kelce has surpassed Gronk as the greatest TE in NFL history. That dude is just such an incredible weapon. And the amount of YAC he gets as a TE is unparalleled. We just don't have players like Hill or Kelce. Diggs is going to be a HOFer for sure and is one of the best 3 or 4 WRs in the game today, but it's really primarily because of his Elite route running and reliable hands. McKenzie is really the only YAC guy we have in our WR corps and did you notice that he got very few YAC on Thanksgiving? Is this just a scheme thing? Has the real problem been that our scheme actually requires Allen to be Superman in the passing game too often? Too many Intermediate to long throws and not enough well designed short passes? Heck, watching Mahomes and Kelce yesterday, Kelcey was WIDE OPEN on some of those intermediate passes, including one he ran a bunch of yards after for a TD. Just frustrating. When was the last time we saw Allen dump a pass that went 10 or fewer yards off to a WR who took it to the house? Diggs vs. the Patriots a couple years ago when he humiliated Jackson?

Allen had 3 consecutive games of 2 Interceptions. Do you really think that's characteristic of Josh Allen at this point? Then last week he had 3 TDs and 1 Interception. If he were to maintain the pace of what he did in the Lions game he'll end the year approaching 50 TDs with roughly a 3 TD to 1 turnover pace. Considering the yardage pace he's on, that could be fine if the team keeps winning.

I have Burrow, Chase and Mixon in my fantasy league... I'll be rooting for them, regardless! -

Diggs caught complaining to McDermott on broadcast

Oh puhlease... anyone who watched that exchange should feel even better about having Diggs on this team. Not a thing and this shouldn't even be in question by anyone -

White, Edmunds and Rousseau - OUT

Before this year I would've agreed with you. Edmunds has been fantastic against the run this year. -
Sunday's game vs Cleveland is being moved to Detroit
transplantbillsfan replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't really care if they come back to Buffalo. It's a ridiculously quick flight. I'm more worried about them getting to Detroit if they say they're leaving Saturday. Isn't that the heart of the storm? Isn't the Interstate going to be closed? How the heck are they getting there? I'm guessing there won't be a ton of flights out of Buffalo. -
The Chiefs....where is their next loss?
transplantbillsfan replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can we stop with this crap? We're halfway through the season. 8 games left. Is it possible the Chiefs win out? Possible. Is it likely? Heck no!!!! Chiefs lost to the friggin Colts. Buffalo has lost to 3 teams that would still have winning records even if we beat them in all of those games. Where could their losses come? Anywhere. It won't surprise me if they lose to the Chargers on Sunday. We've all learned divisional games are tough. In fact the only 2 games they have left that I can't see them losing are against the Rams and Texans. Every other game... who knows??? -
Josh Allen leads NFL in interceptions

Yes. He is no longer able to handle the fame he already had. Makes total sense -
Allen's final throw, bad decision or bad pass?
transplantbillsfan replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks for posting that but you left out 1 other option that's possible. Miscommunication. Watch that clip frame by frame. If Davis cuts across the field rather than diagonally into the end zone Peterson doesn't get the chance to get in front of him. To me the 2 choices should be bad throw or miscommunication or bad throw. And I certainly wonder myself. Regardless... Allen and Davis haven't been on the same page this year. -
Allen’s in a funk. It happens to every QB. I think/hope most can see that while Allen played a large part in losing us this game, we wouldn't have even been remotely in this game without him. Anyone thinking Keenum would have won us that game is an idiot. 8 games left. Josh get your head right and end the funk, please.

Josh is in a slump. This is pretty frustrating. The good thing? We've still got 8 games and a QB who takes winning, losing, and screwing up so personally that (I'm pretty sure) he was laying on the field crying... or at least despondent... after his first INT. We're in a stretch of the season Josh Allen sucks. I think based off who he is he turns it around quickly.
