Week 16: Bills at Pats on MNF
transplantbillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Apologies. It was one of those group limo things where your limo driver also grills all the tailgating food going from Rochester to Orchard Park and I was tagging along with friends. SO much booze consumed just on that 90 minute trip. -
Week 15 MNF: Steelers at Cincy

Ah yes... I just realized that. I don't know that I love the idea of resting starters as I think it does something for momentum, but it also has its perks. -
99.9% chance wk. 17 will matter to Bills

Yeah that loss to the Titans is why Buffalo needs to keep winning, although they do play the Packers this week, so if they lose, I don't think it matters. -
Week 15 MNF: Steelers at Cincy

Holy crap!!! I just checked in on this game!! Please please please please let this stand in order to give us the #2 seed. Anyone thinking we'll rest our starters in week 17 might want to rethink that. -

2003 season opener. I was at that game. What a blast. -
Not right now. Allen is still ascending and he's already a top 3 QB in the NFL in 2020. He is the perfect prototype of a QB physically, mentally, emotionally and competitively. He really is a cyborg in that way. I expect (and really hope) to see Allen go a long stretch of games without missing one. He's built to last. His deep ball accuracy is what's keeping him from being the best right now. Those 2 deep passes to Diggs yesterday were super encouraging, and if he were to more consistently make those passes accurately the way Mahomes, Rodgers and Wilson do and protect the ball a little better, yes I would agree he's the best in 2020. He's still getting better, though, and best QB in 2020 isn't even his ceiling, anyway. Dude has decent shot to be the GOAT.

How do we keep Daboll around?
transplantbillsfan replied to loveorhatembillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We don't unless he wants to stay the way McDaniels chose to stay in NE year after year. What does help is the incredibly tight relationship he and Allen seem to have and the fact that Daboll actually has roots in WNY. The positive I think is Dorsey will probably take over and will likely maintain some continuity. -
And on top of that, there are also the "Interceptions-that-weren't." Josh has had a few of those this year, including one last night. I'm sure he'd take responsibility for all 15 turnovers as 15 turnovers is what he has right now. Nothing wrong with 39 TDs to 15 turnovers when you're 11-3 and the AFC East champions.

How about this year for Allen? Just unbelievable! This was just one of those games for Allen. And if not for penalties, Allen would have had even more passing TDs! Closing in on Kelly's passing TD record for Buffalo after breaking his total TD record last week. Closing in on 40 total TDs. 300 yard passing games are now routine. Another game 70% completion percentage after throwing 40+ times. It's stupid, but I wanted us to keep throwing it in the 4th quarter, but oh well. With Allen at the helm, we'll be competing for Super Bowls for the next couple decades if he can stay healthy. And I sure do hope Diggs is healthy 🙏

Sounds like no more Covid cases so game on...? Word -
They test again tomorrow before the game, right? Kinda frustrating, but as long as they test again I'm good with us playing now that they abandoned today's practice and are doing contact tracing. The team already flew to Denver, right? We weren't doing same day flights.
