You make good points… I thinks it’s also important to note that Beane was never a “football talent evaluator” type of GM…Beane comes from the money side of things- he’s a salary cap guy, accounting. He was never the type of person that had an eye for talent. Therefore, he needs to rely on the guys around him, to really give him the X’s and O’s about player evaluation…👍
