  1. Because he comes by the title Troller-in-Chief honestly? ?‍♀️
  2. CNN let something slip...
  3. This, the Mueller report... a big news week, all positive for Trump. I keep waiting for those darned Amish to do something bad to bury this news. ? I wish I wasn't so cynical.
  4. Senate IT Office Hit With ‘Housecleaning’ in Hassan Aide Scandal Senate sergeant-at-arms officials have conducted a “general housecleaning” that resulted in “massive personnel changes” in the upper chamber’s information technology and cybersecurity systems staff, The Epoch Times has learned. “There’s been massive personnel changes over there,” said a Senate source with knowledge of the situation who requested anonymity. “The new people are a lot more strict and putting on a lot more rules and restrictions. They have just been tightening down a lot since then.” Among those who have left is John Clayton Porter. He was branch manager for information assurance–cybersecurity from March 2017 until earlier this month, according to LegiStorm. He was paid $88,628 annually at the time of his departure, according to Senate records. </snip>
  5. Amid trade war fears, EU overrules France and green lights talks with USA European Union countries on Monday overruled France and gave the green light for Brussels to open trade talks with Washington as soon as possible and defuse trans-Atlantic tensions. The EU's 28 member states had struggled for months to agree on a mandate to open the talks, with some fearing the delay would restart a trade war with US President Donald Trump. </snip> EU sources said France voted against the mandate and Belgium abstained during a meeting of EU ministers in Luxembourg. Pursuing a limited trade deal is a key element of a truce negotiated in July that came close earlier this month to imploding after the US threatened $11 billion in fresh trade tariffs against Europe. Paris voted against the mandate over worries about domestic blowback just months ahead of European elections, set for May 23 to 26. French President Emmanuel Macron has insisted the US first sign back up to the Paris climate accord after Trump dumped the pact in 2017, infuriating Macron. </snip>
  6. That is what has the MSM and the Democrats (BIRM) so crazed. The guy must be squeaky clean (which shocks me) if the Mueller Gang couldn't dig up anything on him. And now that the fear of "my turn" for President Trump has set it, it has gotten even worse.
  7. Nope. I stopped watching the Expos in the late 80s.
  8. The Montreal Expos! That'll give you some idea how long it has been since I've watched a professional baseball game. I hope your team has a World Series season. ?
  9. Ok, so I had zero interest in Shazam! until I was forced to watch a Shazam! commercial every five minutes during the AAF games. I also spent a boatload of cash at the at Home store last time we were in Rochester because again, constant commercials during the AAF games... but I digress. I dragged hubby to see Shazam! opening day and loved it! It was such a fun movie. Mark Strong as a villain, Zachary Levi doing more than singing (Tangeled was on the other day), and it all worked because Jack Grazer had great chemistry with both Asher Angel and Zachary Levi. DC has had two good ones the last few years, first WW, now this. I cannot wait for the sequel. I will watch Hellboy when it comes to video. I already have opening weekend plans for Endgame with my son. I'd have waited, but he wants to see it before he cannot avoid spoilers, and his girlfriend is working (or so she claims - she was probably just quicker to figure out how to avoid seeing it).
  10. I do not have a man cave. ?‍♀️
  11. He should blame autocorrect! That is what I do. ?
  12. I was reading that Nunes said Comey was one those he sent for criminal referral - however, he supposedly said it on the Hannity radio show last week (Friday?) and I could not make myself listen to it. And since I didn't see any screeching or wailing in the press (or any crowing on conservative blogs) I am suspicious it actually happened. However, I do believe there will be charges. Some are so obvious - even to a schlump like me - that it simply would be criminal to not charge them. Convictions though? That is not a foregone conclusion. I forgot who pointed out to me in this forum that they could (would? should?) be military trials (and my apologies to that person). That may make it more likely justice will be served.
  13. It does make one wonder why Facebook has accepted these smear ads.
  14. It never ends... Here's How One Former Hillary Staffer Is Working To Shape The News Cycle Over Kavanaugh's 'Misconduct' Ex-Clinton official leads 'dark money' effort to boot Kavanaugh from teaching gig
  15. Cocoa mulch! It smells great and will decompose to enrich the existing soil. Some people claim that small dogs have eaten the cocoa shells and gotten sick, some say it is an urban legend. Since our (small) dog was too precious to us, "we" (that is the royal we because my husband wouldn't be able to tell cocoa mulch from any other type of mulch) decided to err on the side of caution and only use the cocoa shell mulch in the front yard. After years of build-up and decay, that is some very, very nice soil.
