  1. I was just thinking the other day that the "smartest" person during this entire mess was Tony Podesta. He shut down his business and has stayed silent. Either he is very smart, has very smart attorneys he is listening to, or he's cashed out and gone into hiding in some country without a US extradition treaty (and these are not mutually exclusive).
  2. Thanks, @Deranged Rhino Since it is becoming apparent that, at the very least, all roads lead through Ukraine (they may end there, they may not), I really appreciate your taking the time to do this.
  3. Some wikileaks data dumps (mild stuff according to the people who have looked through it): Index 1 More Clinton emails
  4. The end of a saga... thank goodness. I remember sitting in a movie theater in Boston in 1977 watching Star Wars and being delighted with the simple story, the action, and the special effects. It was a good old-fashioned Saturday afternoon popcorn movie updated with special effects that looked pretty darned good (even 40 years later, they hold up). And now? It has been a chore to watch what has come out since the original three. About the only movie in the series I have really enjoyed since the original trilogy was Rogue One. Heck, it has become so boring, I skipped Solo completely. Saying that, I will go see this in a movie theater, just because there is no way I cannot. As they said, it is the end of a saga.
  5. Snickers bars, a pony... entertaining as well as informative
  6. He should do it. It keeps blue states blue, red states red, and the NIMBY "progressives" will be shown to the world as the hypocritical #######s they are. And I say this as someone who lives in NYS, The Upper West Side would looooooove these people, I am sure.
  7. Isn't that the key? Wanting to vote for someone? Much better than holding your nose when pressing the lever. If President Trump can do a great GOTV for himself (and that trickles to the down-ticket Republicans) while the silly Democrats are embracing socialism as their religion... it is gonna be an early night, folks. ?
  8. Jeff Carlson has covered Victor Pinchuk, so maybe @Deranged Rhino brought over his connection to the Clintons? He ties to Schoen, so my guess is we will be hearing more about him in the near future.
  9. It does deserve it. I was hoping @Deranged Rhino would do it since so many of the thread contributions that are starting to coalesce into the "Ukraine issue" were items he brought to the table. If he doesn't, well, I guess I can this weekend...
  10. Ukrainian thread! Ukrainian thread!
  11. The first response: " Don't worry, he hasn't paid any attention to his district either"
  12. heh Sean Davis was having a good time today pointing these out (his timeline is full of the instances when the MSM called spying, spying)
  13. H&R Block: Taxes Down 25 Percent This Year Taxes are down 24.9 percent on average following passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, according to a report released today by H&R Block based on their clients’ tax returns. The report states: “overall tax liability is down 24.9 percent on average.” Tax refunds are also up, contrary to the line being pushed by Democrats and the establishment media. “Refunds are up 1.4 percent,” according to the H&R Block report. </snip>
  14. Question... if it is a sanctuary city, why would any of the people onboard with sanctuary cities be "fuming" if the illegals were sent there? Pelosi fumes over White House plan to release immigrant detainees in sanctuary cities A scuttled White House proposal to release immigrant detainees in San Francisco and other sanctuary cities triggered a fierce backlash Friday from Democrats including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whose office called the idea “despicable.” The Washington Post first reported that the White House proposed sending the detainees to sanctuary cities, including Pelosi's district, twice in the last six months. The proposal was first floated in November amid reports of a large migrant caravan from Central America making its way to the southern border. The idea was again considered in February, amid the standoff with Congress over a border wall. </snip>
  15. Still not sure how I feel about this... Jussie Smollett update: City sues 'Empire' actor for cost of investigating alleged staged attack </snip> The city of Chicago has filed a lawsuit against actor Jussie Smollett for the cost of the overtime Chicago police spent investigating an attack they say Smollett staged. The City of Chicago's Law Department filed the suit after Smollett failed to meet a city-demanded deadline to pay more than $130,000 into that allegedly staged attack. </snip>
  16. Rosenstein: 'Bizarre' to say Barr misleading public on Mueller report </snip> Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein defended Attorney General William Barr's summary of the special counsel's report in an interview published Wednesday. “He’s being as forthcoming as he can, and so this notion that he’s trying to mislead people, I think, is just completely bizarre,” Rosenstein told The Wall Street Journal. </snip>
  17. What is this about? A trip to Spain to investigate Hillary's email? (thread)
  18. I'm not sure what to make of this statement. Hillary Clinton unloads on Assange, calls him 'only foreigner that this administration would welcome to the US' </snip> "It's clear from the indictment that came out that it's not about punishing journalism," she told attendees and moderator Paul Begala, referring to the Assange case. "It's about assisting the hacking of the military computers, sealed information from the United States government. And, look, I'll wait and see what happens with the charges and how it proceeds, but he skipped bail in the U.K., in Sweden had those [rape] charges which have been dropped in the last several years. But, the bottom line is that he has to answer for what he's done, as has been charged." </snip>
  19. This photo is absolutely amazing!
  20. I cannot decide if John Brennen is the stupidest man alive, or just has a severe case of hubris. His goose is good and cooked. What in the world is he doing on TV complaining about Barr instead of getting his affairs in order? Doesn't he have an attorney telling him to shut the ***** up? Or is he not listening to his attorney?
  21. Per ad. So if you look at an IG account, an account can post single posts, they can do video, stories (which you can have scroll across the top of your account), collections, yada yada. The single ad square is about $100 per 10K followers (in general - some people/places/things get more (I am sure the Buffalo Bills who were frontrunners with IG ads do well), some get less). If you do a video it is going to be a lot more. This is actually a pretty good list of IG features. I am in no way an Instagram expert (I think it is super stupid), but make no mistake about it, there are a lot of businesses and people making a lot of money off IG.
