  1. ? All the kids on their phone until they realize what she is saying. The "good part" starts at 1:25. According to Manuel Rubio, a spokesperson for Sweetwater Union High School District, Buhr’s speech did not follow the pre-approved version she submitted to the school prior to graduation. Article.
  2. I am unlikely to ever visit this thread again, but could not resist... I'm at a conference, so that means downtime at a local watering hole for beer and/or liquor and bar food. This was on the list: Two Brothers Domaine DuPage, French Country Ale (ABV 5.9%), so I decided to try it. It was chocolaty, smooth, and different.
  3. MI5 accused of ‘extraordinary and persistent illegality’ Agency has been obtaining surveillance warrants based on false information, high court told MI5 has lost control of its data storage operations and has been obtaining surveillance warrants on the basis of information it knows to be false, the high court has heard. The security agency has been accused of “extraordinary and persistent illegality” in a legal challenge brought by the human rights organisation Liberty. </snip> The full extent of the problems within MI5 became apparent in disclosures made public at the hearing on Tuesday. The revelations relate to bulk interceptions of data acquired through surveillance and hacking programmes and downloaded to its computers. </snip> Note: Same MI5 that is part of Five Eyes and was assisting Brennan and company to spy on the Trump campaign.
  4. Possibly. That site says the reason they say it isn't accurate is because snopes says it isn't accurate. Anyhoooo it still stands that the quote is ascribed to LBJ and that was the reason for @3rdnlng's play on words.
  5. LBJ, and it wasn't ex-cons, it was a derogatory work for people who are black. (to vote democrat)
  6. Why do this? Removal of ICE Speeches Collection Demonstrates Weaknesses in Federal Agencies’ Archiving Practices In the dying minutes of the Obama administration’s final term, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) removed from its website a collection of almost 200 speeches and testimonies delivered by agency leadership dating back to 2004. With a couple of clicks of a mouse, access to a federal government web resource containing 12 years of primary source materials on ICE’s history was lost. In our most recent report, the Web Integrity Project (WIP) documents the removal of this collection. As our report details, a collection of 190 transcripts of speeches and testimonies hosted on the ICE website’s “Speeches and Testimonies” page was removed between the early afternoon of January 18 and late evening on January 19, 2017. (Compare the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine captures from January 18, 2017 and on January 19, 2017.) The transcripts were of speeches and testimony delivered between 2004 and 2017 by high-ranking ICE officials, including the director of the agency and directors of ICE sub-units. Most contained prepared remarks submitted to congressional committees, often on controversial topics like the standard of medical treatment for detainees, treatment of unaccompanied children, sanctuary cities, drug trafficking, and E-Verify. </snip>
  7. https://twitter.com/JamesOKeefeIII/status/1138802501937958912/ This tweet does exist but doesn't want to embed: Breaking News: Twitter has decided that investigative journalism is in violation of their terms of service - @Project_Veritas has been temporarily suspended from posting for tweeting internal communications from @Pinterest which show them calling @benshapiro a "white supremacist" Attached image on that tweet:
  8. I've said before this is my fear... and what little they are covering, they are currently twisting and perverting in coverage. SMH IF people get indicted, I do not see the press ignoring it. I do see the press lying (or at least being disingenuous) as to why Person A, Person B, Person C (etc) are being arrested.
  9. @C.Biscuit97 I am very sorry you are going through this. Platitudes aside, it can be devastating when a long-term relationship breaks up. Hopefully your forever person is right around the corner, and you both living happily ever after. ? As far as my worst break-up? When my ex-husband and I got divorced. And the only reason it was bad was because it was a long, long time in coming. If I had a do-over, I'd have filed 10-years (minimum) earlier. Moving on was for the best for both of us (we (my ex and I) are both now happily married to other people).
  10. We can only hope. They are all jockeying for position on who is the fall-guy (woman). Brennan and Comey can share a cell.
  11. Wonder why Theresa May never negotiated like this? UK’s Johnson threatens to withhold $50 billion Brexit payment Boris Johnson, the leading candidate to succeed Theresa May as Britain’s next prime minister, said he would withhold a previously agreed 39 billion pound ($50 billion) Brexit payment until the European Union gives Britain better exit terms. </snip> “I always thought it was extraordinary that we should agree to write that entire cheque before having a final deal. In getting a good deal, money is a great solvent and a great lubricant,” Johnson told the Sunday Times. </snip>
  12. So he's finally gonna go look at it? The "members of the panel" is new. How long before those parts are leaked?
  13. More of his interview: "My illegitimate FISA warrant". If he's talking about it like this now, things are gonna get interesting. LOL He's smacking around the Mueller report. Mueller report was "spun for the ridiculous concept of impeachment". "Fake Mueller report" And he is speaking of his death threats because of what happened to him. https://video.foxnews.com/v/6046242151001/#sp=show-clips
  14. at the 43 second mark: (Mueller or something more?)
  15. 1) I do not think everything President Trump does is "wonderful". I will say the the Democrats and MSM (BIRM) have done the impossible - turned a billionaire into an underdog to the average American, and if there is one thing the average American loves, it is to cheer for the underdog. 2) It is very difficult to argue with someone who does not think that President Trump plans, nor does his administration. It is so far from reality, that only the most - well, I don't want to insult anyone, so let's just say that people spouting the "seat of his pants" nonsense are disconnected from reality. President Trump has always been a planner. Ever put together a real estate deal? Those do not happen because someone decided that today they'd put together parcel A, B, C, and D and then deal with the red tape, environmental clean-ups, and regulatory bull####. To say he stopped planning when he became president is ridiculous. 3) He has two cards to play: sanctions and tariffs. Contact your local Congress Critter to vote for a wall and illegal alien reform (dump them back on their mother-country) if you would like to end the border crisis once and for all.
  16. I still like "prophetic" better. ?
