  1. Well that's just silly... you only use 12 different aliases! Have a good weekend. ?
  2. I agree he wants Congress to function, and I also agree with why they are not. At some point, Congress is going to have to act though... I'm not the only one calling the the "do nothing Congress". Heck, at least Mitch is stacking the judiciary, Nancy's not do anything (except holding off the "progressive" wolves). President Trump has been very patient with the court system too (as opposed to a pen and a phone), trying to follow the rule-of-law. It is just so frustrating to watch things go by inches - and no, I am not one to expect the last 50 years to be cleaned up in 4 years (or even 8). That would be impossible.
  3. I will agree with that if the Democrats gain more seats in the House in 2020 (the Senate would be very difficult for the Ds to reclaim as it stands now). Otherwise, what's the point to pointing out the enclaves on the coasts dislike the "little people" living in the rest of the country? The "little people" look to be very tired of it (as evidenced by the lack of D presidential candidate support, the lack of support to "Impeach Trump!" rallies, the huge support for President Trump at his rallies , etc), and there appears to be a lot of get-woke-go-broke going on right now. Newspapers are dying, television "news" is dying (less viewers = less ad revenue). Heck, even corporations who are "picking a side" are getting slapped around economically (not 100% true, but true enough). IOW, what is the end game for a divided country?
  4. Again, that worked out so well for them last time.
  5. I feel sorry for men trying to date today. Those creepy dolls are gonna be the male equivalent to a B.O.B. Makes me wonder how tinder survives (well, besides the whole fake-name, fake-profile thing).
  6. I still think the powers that be want her... she's just do darned unlikable. An unlikable candidate worked out well for them last time, so why not?
  7. Makes me wonder if there really was an operation, or if this was to sniff out leakers and those unwilling to get with the program. In @Foxx's post above (the tweet thread) there is a link to the acting head of ICE saying we are removing people every day. I liked when she asked him about #twoweeks... but she didn't follow-up and point out that Congress is only in session one of those weeks. ?
  8. I think the Washington Examiner needs a few more pop-ups and ads to make it completely unusable. Officials accuse DHS chief Kevin McAleenan of leaking ICE raids plan to sabotage operation This week's big leak about a major Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation was orchestrated by acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan in an effort to sabotage the raids before they were scheduled to take place, according to three current and two former senior administration officials. In a move he said was to placate Democrats, President Trump announced on Saturday that the nationwide immigration enforcement operation planned to start Sunday — aimed at migrant families who illegally remain in the country despite being denied asylum — was called off to give lawmakers two weeks to work on a plan to fix legal “loopholes” he said have enticed migrants to come to the U.S. However, all five officials who spoke with the Washington Examiner confirmed McAleenan's decision to go rogue and stymie the operation was what prompted the White House to call off the 10-city operation. </snip>
  9. I see you've left us.
  10. This is interesting -
  11. Well, it just proves that no one, including their own editors and opinion columnists, reads the Washington Post.
  12. I wouldn't be shocked to find out she is mentally ill.
  13. "I'm not asking for your vote" "You ain't gonna get it either" ? ? ? Well, that was self-inflicted.
  14. This outta frost some cookies... From the article (now it is WaPo, so who knows how true it is): President Trump has directed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to conduct a mass roundup of migrant families that have received deportation orders, an operation that is likely to begin with predawn raids in major U.S. cities on Sunday, according to three U.S. officials with knowledge of the plans. The “family op,” as it is referred to at ICE and the Department of Homeland Security, is slated to target up to 2,000 families in as many as 10 U.S. cities, including Houston, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles and other major immigration destinations, said the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the law enforcement operation. </snip>
  15. Nawwww the US government is going in and snatching CHILDREN!!! CHILDREN I SAY!! From their parents in Central America and tossing them into CONCENTRATION CAMPS in the United States where they will be tortured and gassed.
  16. Care to refute that if people do not illegally cross the border they will not be locked up?
  17. Whaddaya mean proof? I said I met him. I said it happened, now BUY MY BOOK!!!! BUY MY BOOK!!!!! oh, and BUY MY BOOK!!!!!!!
  18. It's already in PPP. There is a thread in the dungeon dedicated to college life today. Every time I look in that thread I am glad I am no longer in college. Some of it is truly O_o
  19. It is political here too... Kerry whispering Biden would be friendlier to Iran so Iran should do A, B, and C ... but don't kill anyone. Killing someone gets you blown up. Trump will bomb you if you do A, B, and C - I promise! (To get the Iranian deal back) And then President Trump declines to escalate. It will be interesting to see Iran's next move - if they cannot provoke US action without killing Americans. Do they back off? Will they kill Americans (I hope not!)? If they kill Americans, then everything changes... and Iran gets that "war" they were hoping for, but at what price to them?
  20. This is the Tribune's story on the special prosecutor @Hedge posted about above. This all makes me laugh... this is a third tier actor no one had ever heard of before this hoax, and he's gonna take down some pretty big people who "helped" him. Are we ever going to know why they helped him? Maybe this special prosecutor will tell us? Judge orders special prosecutor be appointed to look into Jussie Smollett controversy A Cook County judge on Friday ordered the surprise appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate the sudden dismissal of all charges against Jussie Smollett, saying the short-lived prosecution may have been legally invalid from the beginning. Judge Michael Toomin ruled that State’s Attorney Kim Foxx had the right to withdraw herself from overseeing the prosecution of the onetime “Empire” actor but held no legal authority to delegate that responsibility to her top deputy. </snip>
  21. Beginning of that thread (and I think Trump was being very kind to Obama). What is truly crazy is the responses to that first tweet "the money was working". Working to what? Fund more terrorism?
