  1. Apparently, it is all over but the crying? This is just a dates article. </snip> The candidate achieving more than 50 per cent of the vote among Party members will be declared Leader of the Party. The winner, and new Prime Minister, is expected to be announced on July 23. The following day, July 24, Theresa May will speak at her final Prime Minister's Questions before heading to Buckingham Palace to resign as Prime Minister to the Queen. </snip> Next Prime Minister latest odds and polls: Boris Johnson's lead over Jeremy Hunt looks unassailable </snip> The 160,000 strong membership will pick between Jeremy Hunt and Boris Johnson to determine who goes on to be the next Prime Minister of the UK. Results are expected in a fortnight. </snip> And then this. The comments are actually more informative than the article. I think the "remainers" are in denial. Jeremy Hunt says he would be Brexit Secretary as well as PM, as battle to be Boris's deputy begins Jeremy Hunt has pledged that he would take on the role of Brexit Secretary himself because it is “too big” a responsibility not to be carried out by the prime minister. </snip>
  2. Progressive wage policies helped force upscale eatery operator Restaurants Unlimited Inc. into bankruptcy, according to court documents filed Sunday. The company, which operates 35 restaurants ranging from fine dining to “polished casual” eateries, including Henry’s Tavern, Stanford’s and Kincaid’s, filed for Chapter 11 protection in Delaware on Sunday. Minimum wage hikes, two disappointing restaurant openings and consumers shunning casual dining are to blame for the bankruptcy filing, Chief Restructuring Officer David Bagley said in court papers. “Over the past three years, the company’s profitability has been significantly impacted by progressive wage laws along the Pacific coast that have increased the minimum wage,” Bagley said. “As a large employer in the Seattle metro market, for instance, the company was one of the first in the market to be forced to institute wage hikes.” </snip>
  3. She had the perfect opportunity to smack Trump around and stand up as a "proud American citizen", and she blew it.
  4. I agree with his assessment: Mullahs are getting desperate:
  5. That poll was from May!? So what? Nancy's staff (or Nancy herself) reached out and was given the hand by those four, and now it is all out war? According to that poll, it was not all bad for the Ds. </snip> The poll — taken in May, before Speaker Pelosi's latest run-in with AOC and the three other liberal House freshmen known as "The Squad" — included 1,003 likely general-election voters who are white and have two years or less of college education. </snip>
  6. Things that make you go "hmmmmm" Guatemala president postpones Washington visit where asylum talks were planned The government of Guatemala said on Sunday that it would postpone President Jimmy Morales’ visit to Washington as it waits for the Central American country’s top court to rule on migration measures. The Guatemalan government said in a statement that it had “no plans to sign an agreement to convert Guatemala to a safe third country” for asylum seekers.
  7. Here is the tweet thread: And meh, he gets what he wants... people screaming that "YOU ARE WRONG!!!" most of them were born in the US which means the MSM is reporting on these four goofballs, highlighting them, and having people look into the Democratic fighting, and the way the D party is lurching towards socialism. He also has the appearance of (and for all I know, maybe he really does) supporting the Speaker during the D fight (while he stirs the pot). Those four lovely ladies only make the Democratic party seem insane. Just look at the responses to that tweet thread, "raaaaaayyyyycist", "raaaaaayyyyycist", "raaaaaayyyyycist".... talk about "not a good look".
  8. People have been expecting this for a while. We shall see if it is more talk, or really going to happen. I also wonder what steps the dems-in-charge are taking so no more audition candidates will succeed?
  9. Well, it is De Blasio so who knows if it is true: ICE Raids On NYC Immigrants Underway, Mayor De Blasio Says Mayor Bill de Blasio said federal immigration agents were seen in New York City Saturday, hours before the nationwide roundup of immigrants facing deportation was expected to begin. </snip> The raids reportedly target about 2,000 people previously ordered out of the country but still living in 10 cities: Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Baltimore, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York City and San Francisco. </snip>
  10. The black rifle coffee company put this out last year. I never saw it, and maybe you haven't either?
  11. They can use any of the current clown car members to represent MO's ideas. Note: I actually dislike Michelle Obama a LOT less than most people seem to (talk about polarizing!) I just do not feel she is in any way qualified to run for president. Her job experience is poor, her people skills are poorer, and why did she give up her law license again? Honestly? She'd be better off living the high life she does than getting down into the political mud that she seems to be so ill suited for. Let her go scam some more money off Netflix or use a ghost writer to "write" another book and let her be very happy with her life. She'd be nuts to run for President.
  12. Man whose pro-gun speech went viral announces candidacy for lieutenant governor GREENSBORO — Tuesday, Mark Robinson, a native of Greensboro, announced his candidacy for the office of Lt. Governor of North Carolina, in a bid to become the first black lieutenant governor in the state’s history. Robinson is best known for his viral speech at the Greensboro City Council where he spoke out against a council that was attempting to stop a gun show. (See video at bottom of the post.) He announced his candidacy in front of the City Hall building in Greensboro where he gave that viral speech, and was joined by his wife, two kids, and over 80 supporters. </snip> Note: he is running as a Republican.
  13. If that were true, she wouldn't be on her nasty ass B word tour. She hates America, is happy to say how much she hates America, and she does not appear to give a ***** if anyone knows it.
  14. LOL ? I hope no one ever grades my writing.
  15. Seriously? Say, what do you know about the US economy right now? What do you know about US/foreign relations right now? How many positive article do you read each day about President Trump and the Trump administration? Oh and I am still waiting for you to respond to me from your drive-by last month. We get it, you live in Chicago and hate President Trump.
  16. US getting closer to a 'safe third country' agreement with Guatemala The United States is getting closer to reaching a "safe third country" agreement with Guatemala, according to multiple US sources familiar with the negotiations. Such an agreement would require migrants who pass through Guatemala to apply for asylum there, rather than continuing to the US. This would likely have the effect of preventing some migrants from applying for asylum in the US. </snip>
  17. They are Christian Louboutin - you can tell by the red sole.
