  1. ? ? ? This thread!!! (I posted the low--lights) I wish I was selling popcorn now, I could make a fortune! ?
  2. You are one weird dude. Someday soon I expect to hear you received a court order requiring you to stay at least 100 yards away from AOC for the next five years.
  3. ICE raids have already begun in Bay Area, immigration attorneys say CONTRA COSTA COUNTY (KRON) — While the focus is on upcoming weekend ICE raids, immigration attorneys in the Bay Area say those raids have already begun. A group of Bay Area immigration attorneys entered federal ICE offices in San Francisco during the noon hour Thursday to demand information about the threat of immigration raids this weekend. </snip>
  4. The Notre Dame rebuilt is facing some tough problems. Link to Time photos and article. Nearly three months after a fire gutted Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, the building’s chief architect has warned that there is still a risk that the historic building’s ceiling arches might yet collapse, causing severe structural damage. “The risk is that all the vaults up there fall. It is that simple,” says Philippe Villeneuve, chief architect of Notre-Dame, who led TIME on a tour of the fire-ravaged cathedral. “For the moment we do not know because no one has gone to see them, because you cannot go and see them.” </snip>
  5. *snicker* I bet she will snap back at him claiming he is asserting "male privilege" of some sort. Democratic lawmaker unloads on Ocasio-Cortez, chief of staff for 'using the race card' Rep. Wm. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) unloaded on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday for "using the race card” after Ocasio-Cortez accused Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) of being racially insensitive. Clay, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, fumed at Ocasio-Cortez and the group of progressive lawmakers that includes Reps. Rashida Tlaib (Mich.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.) and Ayanna Pressley (Mass.). “What a weak argument, because you can’t get your way and because you’re getting pushback you resort to using the race card? Unbelievable. That’s unbelievable to me,” Clay said. “I could care less. I could really care less. I agree with the Speaker. Four people, four votes out of 240 people, who cares.” </snip>
  6. "the most recent Trump accuser"? I think "the crazy cat lady with rape fantasies" is how most people know the poor woman, if they have heard of her at all.
  7. Got it. Sometimes, I don't see the /sarc tag. ?
  8. What makes you say the people building it didn't follow OSHA regulations, and had migrant labor working for them?
  9. This isn't Trump per se, but it is how the MSM treats "the other side": (thread) And, I think it shows just how tuned out at least half (probably closer to 3/4) the people in the United States are to the MSM:
  10. This is one interesting video!! On April 29th, 2019, Fisher Sand & Gravel Co. was contacted by We Build the Wall to construct a half mile of fence in Sunland Park, New Mexico. The location was deemed “Unbuildable” by government agencies due to the harsh construction conditions. In just over one month of being notified of this project, Fisher procured and fabricated the bollard fence panels and finished all construction within two weeks.
  11. So if I understand it correctly, President Trump just gave the Commerce Department access to all government databases including social security, food stamps, the IRS, all of it. That is a lot of data. I wonder if ICE agents will be delivering census forms? ?
  12. The full response is in the third tweet (small thread)
  13. We shall see. I am sure whatever it is that happens, the Ds and MSM will light their hair on fire while screaming it is raaaayyyycccisst. Rinse, lather, repeat for the next six years.
  14. Missed the first 10 minutes, what did he drop?
  15. Judicial Watch really does great work. This is amazing: In 2017, Judicial Watch sued Montgomery County, Maryland, to gain access to voter registration data it was refusing to release despite the fact the NVRA mandates that it be publicly available. Montgomery County has a voter registration rate exceeding 100%. Last fall, Maryland’s attorney general, Brian Frosh, put forth a remarkable court filing demanding that Judicial Watch “identify any Russian nationals or agents of the Russian government with whom you have communicated concerning this lawsuit.”
  16. Shhhhh this is great!! I don't watch soap operas (are they still a thing?), or Real Housewives, or anything like that, but I imagine it can't be better viewing than this "spat" between Nancy and the four-newbies. While I think Nancy is aging rapidly, my money is still on her. She knows how to reward and punish, and she's been around long enough to know that the revenge is a dish best served cold. My only question is if she goes after AOC or her handlers? The other three? I think she's gotta be more circumspect about. But, I am enjoying watching the show!
  17. Trump to take executive action on census citizenship question President Trump will announce that he will use executive action to add a citizenship question on the 2020 census at a news conference Thursday afternoon, a White House source confirmed to The Post. </snip>
  18. I wonder if this is just a feel-good summit, or if anything will come of it? (longer thread if anyone cares)
  19. I am scratching my head over this one. Apparently, Obama doesn't have an office so they can protest to him? ?‍♀️ (thread) News story: Anti-deportation activists 'occupy' Biden campaign HQ in Philadelphia; 6 arrested Six people were arrested at Joe Biden's campaign office in Philadelphia Wednesday after advocates for undocumented immigrants stormed the building in a bid to confront the Democratic frontrunner over the millions of deportations that took place during the Obama Administration when he was vice president. </snip>
  20. I hope your wife is doing well, and makes a complete and speedy recovery.
  21. Prosecutors say they will 'reassess' position on Flynn sentencing after former partner's trial Federal prosecutors on Wednesday expressed uncertainty at how the recent decision by the government to drop former national security adviser Michael Flynn as a trial witness against his former business partner should impact his sentence. Prosecutors in Washington, D.C., wrote in a new court filing that they plan to "reassess" their position on what sentence Flynn should receive after the trial of his onetime business partner Bijan Kian, also known as Bijan Rafiekian. They noted the defense could still call Flynn as a witness at Kian's trial. </snip>
  22. Ummmm The MSC Gayane, which is owned by J.P. Morgan Asset Management and chartered to MSC, the world's second-biggest container ship operator by capacity, is "subject to possible forfeiture," U.S. Attorney William McSwain said in a statement. Built in 2018, the ship has capacity for around 10,000 containers and is worth about $90 million. It is anchored at the Delaware River near the Philadelphia port and is expected to stay there for an extended period, according to people involved in the matter.
  23. Sometimes the Daily Mail can be a goldmine! Poor AOC has to woooooooooooooorrrrrrrrkkkkkkkk.... Ocasio-Cortez also said too much power in Congress is given to the speaker - I'm sure that endeared her to Nancy. LOL * Nancy Pelosi delivered a harsh lecture to her Democratic lawmakers, warning them to stop tweeting about their colleagues * 'You got a complaint? You come and talk to me about it. But do not tweet about our Members and expect us to think that that is just ok,' she said * Pelosi met with Democratic lawmakers at the Capitol Wednesday morning * She warned them to watch their public spats * Her lecture came after Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she has not spoken to the speaker in months * She also claimed Democratic leadership gave her prominent committee assignments in an attempt to keep her busy 'I was assigned to some of the busiest committees and four subcommittees. So my hands are full. And sometimes I wonder if they're trying to keep me busy' * The freshman Democrat made her comments to the New Yorker podcast * Ocasio-Cortez also said too much power in Congress is given to the speaker * Pelosi and 'the squad' - four young liberal lawmakers - got in a public feud * 'All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world. But they didn't have any following,' Pelosi said of them
