  1. You do not know it will not need a FOIA request. The email may be all you need. On the other hand, what is to prevent CA from slow walking requests? Telling the person/entity requesting to pound sand? Claiming the emails were never received? The next step would be... a FOIA.
  2. Message a mod to get it back. ? That is one of the reasons I hesitate to participate in some of threads started by certain individuals. When things do not go their way...
  3. NPR, that is some headline. With Jobs Numbers Like These, It's Hard To See Why The Economy Is Slowing </snip> Employers added 164,000 jobs last month, as the unemployment rate held steady at 3.7%, the Labor Department said Friday. The jobless rate remains at a nearly 50-year low. Analysts had expected about 165,000 jobs to be added in July and the unemployment rate to be 3.6%. Job gains for the two previous months were revised downward by a total of 41,000. Over the past three months, monthly job growth has averaged about 140,000 — down from 233,000 in the final three months of 2018. </snip> Wages have been growing slowly, which has kept a lid on inflation. Average hourly earnings rose 8 cents, to $27.98 last month. That's up 3.2% from a year ago, a slight acceleration from June. The strong job market continues to draw new people into the workforce. About 370,000 new workers entered the job market last month, and labor force participation inched up to 63%. </snip>
  4. Tulsi didn't get an uptick after smacking down Kamala? ?
  5. What is faster? Sending an email with a specific request (we won't even go into the "how do I know what to request?") or searching a website? No matter how you try and say "oh you ONLY have to do THIS" it is still an additional hoop to jump through, step to make, additional waiting time (if they don't get backed up with requests), and possible denial, away - instead of simply searching the website. Now the question is, what are they trying to hide? Cue oooooh-oooooh-wee music. ?
  6. How quickly can you get a FOIA fulfilled vs searching a website?
  7. The responses to that tweet are something else. People really do have some severe mental illnesses over President Trump. TDS is real, and magnified on twitter.
  8. "unrelated to her campaign" uh huh, suuuuurrrrre
  9. Mmmm Brussels Sprouts. ^ typed that without even thinkin' about it because I do say Brussels Sprouts, because that is what they are called as they are named after Brussels, BE. You laugh when people write buffalo wings instead of Buffalo wings, dontchya? (Although I bet there are some people who think buffaloes have wings.) Same thing here.
  10. John Solomon said a grand jury has not been impaneled yet. I believe him over Joe diGenova. Darn. Tom Fitton says "by Monday" for the document drop. DOJ and FBI delaying releases. (Sean Hannity needs to zip his lips and let people talk.)
  11. I'm shocked that Iman-guy is still alive. So they IDed that guy? And he's Qatar Intelligence? Yikes if true. Where there is smoke, there is fire?
  12. You think Biden stating he'd shut down all coal and fracking last night endears him to the people of PA (outside of Philly)?
  13. I was reading the Durham impaneled a grand jury. Rumor or truth? (All the sources lead back to Joe diGenova sooo not exactly the most accurate.) If true (my guess is yes on this one) I wonder how long that is gonna take, and who they are looking into? (FWIW WaPo has a chart that federal grand juries indict 99.99% of the time.)
  14. Out of all the people on the stage, she is the only one that seems semi-reasonable to me. She may have issues (who doesn't?), but who knows how far she can/will go? She's only 38, this may be a dress rehearsal for 2024.
  15. The Assad thing is something Tulsi will have to explain if she goes further. The Russian plant thing is par for the Democratic-course.
  16. The Senate Cloakroom twitter thread is spittin' out tweets as fast as someone can type. All sorts of people being confirmed today from ambassadors to judges to various secretaries and IGs. Either both sides simply want to get out of town and have had enough, or Mitch is fed-up and pushing things through. Did all the Ds leave town already?
  17. Sen. Graham Pushes Through Asylum Bill After Waiving Committee Rules Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Lindsey Graham pushed through his asylum bill by waiving committee rules. The legislation narrowly moved out of committee Thursday in a 12-to-10 vote, which means it can now be taken up by the full Senate for consideration. Graham’s decision allowed Republicans to act alone in making the bill eligible for Thursday’s vote after Democrats skipped last week’s business meeting on the bill. The South Carolina lawmaker defended his actions by saying “the Judiciary Committee can’t be a place where nothing happens.” </snip> His asylum proposal would increase the number of days migrant children can be held in custody, and it would require asylum seekers to file their claims from outside the U.S. </snip>
  18. I could see Joey-B being the nominee with Kamala as his VP. I still think Kamala is the "chosen one", but I could be wrong. If Biden is the nominee will he win the general? Ummmm unlikely. I still say he's in this to scream "political persecution" if something goes down with Ukraine indictments on his son, but ?‍♀️ ya never know.
  19. It's like you guys have never heard of Kleenex or a handkerchief.
