  1. Yeah. I forgot to add his name so even I got confused there. I'll edit it to make me seem less idiotic than usual. You're right though in the disconnect between the type of WR's Beane drafts compared to the WR's he's had success with (Shakir being the only exception). Heck, even an older E. Sanders had more success compared to guys like Coleman (so far) and Davis.
  2. Man. You guys will swallow anything. It rebounded because investors are making a bet that Trump will continue to back down on tariff implementation because it'll spook the markets too much.
  3. Hollins made plays but he wasn't exactly a tough matchup for CB's in man coverage. He was ranked 87th of 99 WR's that qualified in terms of receiving ability according to PFF FWIW. His blocking will be the most missed part of his game. Correlation doesn't exactly equal causation but our offense put up 30 plus points in eight straight games when we traded for Cooper. We definitely got faster and Palmer and Moore's skill set (smaller, shiftier, better route runners/separators) is what Allen has thrived with in WR's in the past (Diggs, Brown, Beasley, Shakir, and even McKenzie to some extent).
  4. No. It was the tariffs. Stock market spiked his first couple of weeks before he started with his tariff nonsense.
  5. If you read insane people on a regular basis you yourself become insane.
  6. You're at a point where you're arguing how a crappy tariff act wasn't the main driver of the Great Depression. You're right by the way but implementing universal tariffs is still just an awful policy.
  7. Correct. I've always just wanted a simple flat tax system but that won't happen. It would be prudent of Republicans to use their majority to tweak the TCJA of 2017 tax legislation that reduced taxes across the board. Lowering the corporate tax rate makes a lot more sense to me than tariffs if you want to incentive businesses to invest in America and create more jobs and economic growth.. They lowered it to 21% from 35% with the TCJA and Trump was pushing for 15%. Maybe they can meet in the middle. That's the best tactic imo if you want to relying less on foreign imports as companies will be secure in investing here knowing there's actual legislation that simply can't be changed by the whims of one person.
  8. That's actual legislation that would have to passed through Congress. There's already lawsuits in states and businesses across the country challenging whether Trump isn't abusing the International Emergency Economic Powers Act with his tariffs. The stock market could see a lot of volatility based on the results of these lawsuits.
  9. It just makes me a little skittish when your team is winning but you're complaining about your targets. He also was the Browns 2nd WR in terms of targets is two years there. Pry not going to happen here. I'm sure he was vetted by the Bills brass and he's pry matured since then. Or, again, it was the Jets.
  10. I don't really know what to make of this because it's the Jets but I'm not sure he's going to be happy as a WR4 or WR5. Again, it's the Jets. https://sports.yahoo.com/jets-wr-elijah-moore-breaks-202500715.html The second-year pro out of Ole Miss remains on the team despite having been frustrated enough with his reduced role in the offense to ask for a trade. The Jets declined his request and now that the trade deadline has come and gone, the two sides need to figure out how to work together. Hours after the Jets’ 27-10 victory against the Packers on Oct. 16, Moore quoted a tweet saying he was targetted zero times. “If I say what I really wanna say… I’ll be the selfish guy…we winning,” Moore said in the tweet. “Grateful! Huge blessing! All I ever wanted. Bittersweet for me, but I’ll be solid. So I’ll just stay quiet. Just know I don’t understand either.” While he practiced on Wednesday of the following week, the 2021 second-round pick was sent home the next day following a reported disagreement with Jets offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur. Then Jets coach Robert Saleh announced before the game against the Broncos on Oct. 23 that Moore would not travel with the rest of the team following his trade request. Moore returned to the team following the win against the Broncos but played only 10 snaps in the 22-17 loss against the Patriots. Although he was not traded, Moore said it wasn’t easy to turn the page and start over fresh with the Jets organization. “I’m a human, so it takes time,” Moore said. “Being the man that I am, I always try to reset my mind every time I go home. I go to the things that I believe in and that’s God. Again, please keep in mind he was on the Jets.
  11. I don't care about the talking heads. Americans needed someone to blame for post Covid inflation and they voted in kind. Now all Trump has to do after removing the Biden era regulations and extend the tax cuts is sit back and let the free market thrive. Instead, he's going full Bernie Sanders on us with these tariffs. I never though it would take a Republican president to convince people on the left to keep the government out of our lives as much as possible.
  12. True. He doesn't have the largest catch radius and that's a huge problem for a QB like Winston or DTR who couldn't hit water if they fell off a boat.
  13. Bills WR's/TE's in fantasy is what Patriot RB's used to be. Put up good numbers as a group but you can't start one of them unless you're desperate.
  14. On 97 targets? That's terrible efficiency.
  15. Wouldn't Ravens @ Bills be a bigger draw than Bengals given the MVP debate last year? Bengals didn't even make the playoffs the last two years.
  16. Yeah. They warned me about that 40 years ago. Goes without saying.
  17. I meant day 2 guys like the Packers did with Watson and Doubs. Texans did with Collins and Dell, etc... The odds of finding a WR on day 3 are really slim. Shakir dropping to the 5th was one of Beane's best picks.
  18. Jeremy's argument of getting cheap labor by drafting every year or two at the position has its validity too.
  19. It wasn't about wearing a mask being a slight inconvenience but just a fear that what makes America great is our individual freedom. I didn't agree with them but I understood where they were coming from. It's why I despise this tariff policy. Why the hell should we give one guy the power to make us pay more for products because he happens to like tariffs and therefore hurts private companies and can kill small businesses. It's antithetical to everything this country is supposed to stand for.
  20. What's the plan? Throwing money into a fire?
  21. My draft grade is the same result as most of the throws made this in the Super Bowl. Incomplete.
  22. Which is exactly why a tariff war with China will never work.
  23. It's never a good sign when an administration says to Amazon that showing the prices of the goods with tariffs to your consumers is a "hostile and political act" against our country. Basically admitting that every reputable economist is right when it comes to tariffs.
