The sad part is the Texans are still down three despite the obvious KC rust. -

People generally don't like Aikman but any other commentator would've been saying how great Mahomes was after that scramble. -

It's pry unfair to ask but they need to force at least two turnovers for the Texans to have a chance. -

Weird prop bet on FanDuel: -120. Mahomes will hurt his ankle and cry in pain only to return and lead his team to victory. -

That overthrow by Patrick Mahomes was a thing of beauty. -
High of 33 and partly cloudy. Doubt they'll be flight delays.

I know it's early but it's a high of 38 degrees with light wind next Sunday in Kansas City.

Personally, this Ravens matchup is my "McDermott Game."

I disagree with 2019 Allen. The defense carried us in 2019 ranking 2nd in points against (3rd in yards allowed) while our offense finished 23rd in points against (24th in yards allowed). Allen didn't even have above a 300 yard passing game that year until Diggs got here. I don't think Pegula feels the pressure that a lot of us feel in wasting Allen during his prime years with a great regular season coach and a poor postseason coach once the divisional round hits. If we lose this Sunday and our offense plays great then I'd immediately either pivot to Ben Johnson, Todd Monken, or Joe Brady as head coach. It won't happen with Pegula though so it's a pointless argument anyways. -

The evidence of McDermott's impact without peak Allen (2017-2019). Preseason expectations versus actual results shows me he's at minimum an above average NFL head coach. 2017: preseason over/under - 5.5. Wins - 9 2018: preseason over/under - 6.5. Wins - 7 2019: preseason over/under- 7.5 Wins - 10 Most of the credit should go to Allen for the Bills season success but to suggest McDermott has little to do with the run of six straight double digit win seasons is insulting towards McDermott imo. It's the postseason where he deserves all the heat that's coming his way if the Bills lose this Sunday. -
Divisional Round, Ravens v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

He's punting on 3rd down? I know McDermott has a conservative reputation because he comes from a defensive background but this is extreme imo. -

He took the lead against the Chiefs with 13 seconds left. In my opinion he already has. He can definitely shut a lot of people up over the next two weeks too. -

This is a fair take. McDermott has been an exceptional regular season coach and a below average postseason coach imo (albeit a small sample size). There's a lot on the line for McDermott's legacy this playoff game. He "cracked the code" so to speak against Miami after they put up 70 on the Broncos the week before last season. His defensive game plan this week needs to be exceptional or we'll lose. If our offense plays well and we lose 44-30 or something like that it's absolutely fair to conclude that McDermott has a ceiling that we'll never break if we want to win a Super Bowl. Even Pegula (who won't fire him regardless) has to recognize this at some point. -
Governor Hochul was just on one bills drive and even she thinks it would be a mistake not to be afraid of changing our identity and play way less base nickel.

There's plenty of running back prospects every year that can do what Cook can do. It's on Beane to find him in the draft. Christian Benford is the most underrated by the casual fans here and overall nationally.

Unfortunately for McDermott, no matter what good he does in the regular season or Wild Card round the 13 seconds game will be the main thing he's remembered for if the Bills don't at least make it to the Super Bowl. Josh and this offense was about to win the game despite the porous defense and that's when the late game coaching malpractice by McDermott happened. It not only cost the Bills an AFC Championship home game but every time we hear how there hasn't been a current AFC QB except for Burrow who's been able to beat Mahomes head to head in the playoffs it reinforces that bad memory of 13 seconds. Every time our defense puts up a dud or McDermott screws up late game situational management that anger from that game comes rushing back. The anxiety of having a generational QB not being able to win a Super Bowl here is another reason people want to pivot away from McDermott immediately before Josh's prime years are over. The dread of going into another drought post Allen is definitely on my mind. I guess that's my long way of saying it's not easy being a Bills fan.

Cowboys Set to Interview Leslie Frazier for HC role

He could be a Rooney Rule hustler. Pay me under the table and I'll give you an "interview." -
He's a better salesman than McDermott. That's for sure. I heard all off-season how we were going to be ok at WR. I agree that most of the defensive ineptitude in the playoffs is on McDermott and his poor game plan/execution. I also put a lot of it on Beane for never hitting a home run with one defensive player in the draft on day one or two since he's been here.
