  1. Impossible now with the new one to five grading system.
  2. They should've moved on from them and Tua last year. How much evidence did they need that their track team offense didn't work against good to great teams?
  3. I agree. I wouldn't even consider them chokers but just not built to beat good to great teams. They're screwed for a couple years until they can get out of the Tua contract. I just think they would've squeaked in this year and been one and done.
  4. They are but you have to go back to the 80's where a 2nd team All Pro QB won MVP. Crazier things have happened at awards shows though. I remember Shakespeare in Love beating out Saving Private Ryan for best picture at the Oscars.
  5. I remember that game being a field goal/ punt fest until Pollard broke out a long run. It may have been a Miami blow out with Tua. I remember watching it just in disbelief at how McDaniel didn't have a competent backup QB to run his offense. Penalties galore on offense. Miami only put up 184 yards compared to the Titans 222. The Titans running up the score at the end because the Dolphins defense was gassed from all the three and outs Huntley had with his 96 passing yards.
  6. I think they get to 10. I think they beat the Colts and Titans with a healthy Tua. That's pry their ceiling though. They'd be one and done against us this weekend.
  7. Kansas City. They took the Bills out three of the last four years. They're the two time defending champs. They're the healthiest they've been all season. They'll be at home with the motivation of the Bills being the team that ruined their perfect season. I know Lamar bowled a 350 yesterday but he's handled that playoff pressure poorly in the past going back to his first MVP season.
  8. Win our next three games and he'll meet that minimum criteria. Don't lose sleep over an award.
  9. That's what put him over the top or was it consistently excellent stats over his career? BTW, minus a career ending injury Allen will accomplish one of your criteria at minimum. Law of averages.
  10. It's a fair comp if Lamar ever does win the Super Bowl.
  11. Yeah. Beane's hit a lot of doubles and triples. His only home run was luckily a quarterback. I guess Wyatt Teller would be a home run down 13-0 in the ninth.
  12. Yeah. The more I think about it the more I feel bad for Browns fans. In fact, I was going to make an Achilles joke but I couldn’t pull it off. So, no pun in tendon.
  13. If I were an MVP voter I pry would give Lamar the first team All Pro nod and Allen the MVP. History obviously isn't on Allen's side but this is a unique MVP race considering what happened last year.
  14. He had better numbers than Lamar and Josh last year. Lamar has better numbers this year. Prescott should be the comparison of why voters who gave the award to Lamar last year should've given it to Allen this year.
  15. Prescott had better numbers last year than Allen or Lamar. He should be the comparison.
  16. That makes less sense if the argument is if an All Pro criteria looks more at your basic statistics while MVP votes consider a player's overall impact on a team.
  17. Four people did it last year. It's possible but not probable that more would do it this year in Allen's direction.
  18. Lamar had a historical statistical amazing season. You could make an equally compelling case for either but I don't think there's much bias involved.
  19. I said 28 but 30 is pry too much. Especially with Allen only getting 18. Lamar's the heavy favorite now.
  20. It was a kickoff return with a little over two minutes left where it's likely he hurt it. I'm just wondering why we he was still in a meaningless game with about two minutes left.
  21. Missed that. I was being sarcastic as everything the guy does will be fresh meat for the fire McDermott crowd.
  22. I think there would be 30 at once if that actually happened. LOL.
  23. If a muffed punt costs us the game this week we'll all look back and wonder why McDermott had Codrington out there to return a kick with two minutes left in a meaningless game.
