  1. Bold prediction because of how and when the voting was conducted. Josh Allen won't make the top 40.
  2. They'll pry sign Duane Brown now. I do feel generally bad for the guy though and that's unusual for me.
  3. I'd love for them to bring back the Arena Football League. That was fun to watch.
  4. Yeah. PFF has a pass blocking grade of Quessenberry at 61.6 and Brown at 51.0. Both are pretty bad and ranked near the bottom. If Brown had a less mobile QB fans wouldn't be as high on him. It's a problem and maybe Kromer can help make at least one of them average pass blockers as they're both great run blockers.
  5. Interesting they list Beckham ahead of Davis.
  6. Might want to change the title to younger half-brother.
  7. Quick thoughts: -Was hoping Shakir would be backup to Davis. May signal they see him as more of a slot guy. -Quessenberry over Brown is significant and Brown is going to have to earn the spot. -Dane Jackson ahead of Elam at CB#2 isn't surprising. Same goes for Haack over Araiza. Rookies have to earn it obviously. -McKenzie not in punt return but projected kick returner is interesting.
  8. No but it will likely fail based off all the reports I've seen. Also, Watson may not want the league to seek an injunction for financial reasons. He loses $57,500 per game this year. He'd lose about $2,550,000 per game next season. If the suspension is extended to 10 to 14 games this year he may just want to take his medicine and not sue. Not sure how he handles it if it's a year long suspension as the contract would then get pushed back a year.
  9. I thought that too because of the Brady and Elliott cases but the NFLPA appealed those suspensions right away. This time they didn't. The NFL mouthpiece (Ian Rapaport) even admitted as such. My guess to why they didn't appeal is Watson't camp objected as they're unlikely to win in federal court. Watson would rather give up a smaller amount of money this year (around 1m) even if he's out for the whole year than miss the 2023 season where he'd have to fork over 40 million plus should he lose the appeal.
  10. I run a 12 league team and they all pay me through venmo. I'm just going to plead ignorance.
  11. Antonio Brown before his transformation into his true calling as a rap artist was a 6th rounder. You obviously make a good but obvious point that odds are slim that day three picks amount to much. Diggs and Hill are the only two star WR's I can think of that went in the 5th round. I see Shakir as a third round talent though who somehow slipped but odds are we're lucky if he can fill the Gabe Davis role as WR#4.
  12. There's more than one way to skin a dolphin. We can shoot for long scoring drives utilizing mostly pass plays. We finished fifth in time of possession last year and 11th in 2020 doing just that. In 2018 and 2019 when we ran the ball more we finished 13th and 16th. The only real change I want is less designed Josh Allen runs. Give those carries to the running backs.
  13. I don't now about "much" but there's luckily only six of them out of the 222 congressional democrats.
  14. He's always been pragmatic despite being the most radical member of the left and realizes his demands would've sunk the bill.
  15. Would save us 1.5m in cap space with 2 million dead cap hit. Can't see us going with Barkley as a backup though. He's better at dancing to Renegade than throwing a football.
  16. Cover 1 doesn't make that mistake.
  17. I like the agent mention. LOL. I'd wait for the actual contract numbers.
  18. He always seemed to me to be a self promoter and embraced that half glass empty reputation since he got here at the beginning of the '90's dynasty. The "are you embarrassed" fiasco is the perfect example. It worked and ironically may have lit a fire under the entire team in ways that the coaching staff never could. I remember Bennett once commenting that he was a pain in the rear but he made him better.
  19. I'm guessing that's why on a value picks thread. Peters, Williams, and Freddie all were great signings.
  20. Yeah. The 4th. My mistake. There were 13 teams before us that passed on Rice too as the knock on him was he didn't go to a division 1 school and he had a slow 40 yard dash for a WR. I still consider Rice the greatest player in NFL history.
  21. It's got to be Andre in the third. He was the last drafted of the core four that we wouldn't have made four straight Super Bowls without. Bruce Smith at #1 was also excellent value . Howard Ballard in the 11th round was a sneaky good pick.
  22. Love the idea but Quaker Crossing is too far away from the stadium.
