The Edmunds Report - Week 6, Bills v. Titians, 10/18/21
LABILLBACKER replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this was one of his weaker games. You could see Milano wasn't 100%. Tremaine did have some nice solo tackles on King Henry but when he backpedaled into open space guarding no-one, I just scratch my head. I know that's what he's told to do but it seems so useless. -
I don't care what role you want to assign Breida, he has officially become TJ Yeldon. He won't play at all unless one of our 2 mediocre rbs get injured. If we could land a decent TE for Addison, I'd do it.

Beane's Draft Picks: Is Allen His Only Success?

We still have the #1 offense and defense so I'm going to excuse myself from this conversation. -
Anyone Have This Frustration With The Titans Game
LABILLBACKER replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
My frustration is with the entire organization. First you have the ridiculous call on the music city forward lateral. Then you have Bud Adams (may his sorry corpse not RIP) flipped our team the double bird. We lose last year in a game that Tennessee should've forfeited. Then on MNF when the Titans needed a big call (flag) they got it. I hate Vrabel and his condescending attempt to recreate the lateral. After Henry there's nothing compelling about this team that apparently only gets motivated for us. F.....the Titans..... -
Whitney Mercilus, DE, released by Texans

Super disappointed we bench AJ & Boogie for 2 aging DE's who have a combined 1.5 sacks. We had 0 sacks against Hienecke & Tannahill. Have we really improved our pass rush? -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Humbled at the Goal Line
LABILLBACKER replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
So Daboll's play was "the running car".....Josh listens to his Elvis/Sinatra playlist before a game. Maybe do it at halftime? -
He knew the D was gased. If the Titans win the toss, Henry likely marches down the field. The call did send a huge message of confidence in his players. Just not a big fan of the play.

At this point I go all in with the youngsters. Mario & Jerry are obvious liabilities. Dear Lord Mario gets posterized by Henry. Jerry has alienated every official in the league so he's a easy "no call" hold victim. -
Could you imagine JA with a better OL and a legit RB. Even Jim had Thurman. Are we ever going to draft/sign a compelling RB?
-
Would've loved a 2 TE jumbo package on that last play.

penalties on kick returns - out of control

I think the last 3 pop up kicks by Buffalo ended up at the 30, 33 & 35. I hated the deliberate strategy last night. We don't have the gunners to run that. Let Bass tb the ball and take your chances at the 25. Hopefully that's the last we see of that. -

We needed someone Mercyless last night. -
Bills lost because both trenches sucked.
-
We do not have a dominant OL by any stretch of the imagination. I would've loved to see 2 TE's on that play maybe allowing Josh an outside option but Knox was hurt. Get a 3rd TE Sean and stop with the FB nonsense.
-
1. OL 2. DL 3. RB 4. ST ...still shocked we couldn't sack Hieneke or Tanahill?
-
Pretty much has to since he's our only remaining TE. And no Gilliam is not a TE.
-
I'm going to lump the OL/RB issue together. We've known about this problem since early last year. We rely on Josh's athleticism to be our only RB. Stop playing Addison and Hughes who are clearly old and slow, and get your young draft picks in there. If we play Tennessee 10 times they probably beat us 6-7 times.
-
I know we'll bounce back and probably be 8-2 heading to New Orleans. But I'm just so sick and tired of losing to that F ing dead bud adams organization. And d-bag vrabel trying another music city bs. Our trenches picked a bad night to crap the bed. Do we really have enough of a running game to win a SB? ???
-
All Micah had to do was turn around. All night it seemed like the defense had their backs to plays constantly.

What is up with Bass and no run up to kick off?
LABILLBACKER replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly....besides Bass our ST has been awful. Haack almost had another blocked. Kickoff coverage in the 2nd half gave them amazing field position on 3 straight. -
Couldn't agree more. We did nothing to improve the run game. Breida sucks and is inactive. Our OL like last year is incapable of blocking on either side. And our 2 headed running back lacks any type of playmaking ability. Too bad we didn't draft up a couple spots and take Diggs. We've have 2 great corners. But the bottom line is we're only going as far as the OL/DL take us. Last night they both sucked.....
-
Yes it was short. Josh just wasn't able to extend the ball because of the way/angle he was hit. It was inches from another highlight play by him.
