We could've had the punt God, receiving God and the Messiah17 all together. The holy trinity....

Who are your favorite 5th-7th rd RB prospects?

What do you think of when you see this pic?
LABILLBACKER replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Look how relaxed he looks being away from his wife and brother. -
Just saw that Aiyuk was ranked #2 last season with a 17.9 per catch average. For comparison Diggs ranked 70th at 11.1 per. If they can swing a post June 1 deal / trade, please "do it". Then trade up in the 2nd for Legette. Aiyuk Legette Samuel Shakir Kincaid Knox.....I think Josh would absolutely thrive with these 6.

Exactly, I'll take a proven commodity over an unpredictable rookie wr. But we still need 2 if for no other reason then getting that 4-5 year rookie contract value. March of 2025 you're going to see alot of $30M wr fa's signed or extended.
-
And there lies the biggest problem. We should've been transitioning to more man coverage years ago. I'm willing to give Kaiir one more year to improve his zone play. And if he can't accomplish that with a new coach then cut his ass.

Von Miller IG story about Beane trading up for a WR
LABILLBACKER replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still waiting for Von to burn it all down? -
Hope Thomas or Mitchell fall to near 28. Then trade up in the 2nd to get Legette or Franklin. You land 2 rookies like that to compliment Kincaid, Shakir & Samuel and Josh will be just fine spreading the wealth.
-
As tempting as it is to give a kings ranson for MHJ, Nabers or Odunze, I'd much rather watch Beane be wise and prudent letting the remaining very good wrs come to 28. We will very soon need a better pass rusher, C and safety. I'm all for drafting wrs in the first 2 rounds. But a Julio Jones scenario would be foolish. Even Sammy would agree.

Not finding the killer really Hertz.

He's the reason I became a Bills fan 55 years ago. Still blows me away I just happen to drive by the crime scene that morning before news broke. I'll never regret becoming an obsessed Bills fan. But I will regret seeing what a disgusting human being he turned out to be.
-
Exactly, you can trade Knox all day long as far as I'm concerned. But Milano is still too valuable to our defense. The biggest question mark is how he looks post injury?
-
I'm waiting for someone other than Josh doing something impactful in the playoffs. Hines, Harty and Sherfield were huge disappointments.
-
This is all the more reason why we probably need to double dip on wrs. We'll be lucky to find one wr1/wr2 between the 2 picks. And next year we'll need to draft wr again. So between the 1st & 2nd round we have about a 30% chance of landing a (++) wr.

Which player is the draft community too low on?
LABILLBACKER replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seen every game he's played. Over-rated...he's not a game wrecker. -
Is there a projected "diva test" that they can take before the draft. That would be very helpful. As of this week, this is the scenario I'm hoping happens. I have a funny feeling both Thomas & Mitchell fall to us @ 28. So it will be up to the scouts not to screw this up. I would consider using a 5th to move up in the 2nd for another wr.
-
His combine numbers were terrible. Pass
-
We need clutch game wreckers. Other than Josh, no one on the Bills assumed that role in the playoffs.
-
....at least we've covered all the emojis... Seriously Josh still requires a true #1 WR. Just not a diva type who needs the spotlight. Someone reliable in the regular season and playoffs. Someone who understands the value of spreading the ball around to the other wrs.
-
They'll be nothing left wr-wise by the 3rd round after the 2nd run on wrs is over. And we can still double dip this year trading up a little for BTJ then trade up in the 2nd for maybe Legette? It can be done....
-
Odunze will be long gone by pick 10-12. The better value trade up in the 18-22 range will be for BTJ.

Does Josh Allen still work as hard in the offseason?
LABILLBACKER replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
The combination of Josh(by himself) winning against Andy, Patrick, Travis and Chris is both impossibly daunting and unrealistic. Josh needs a dynamic offensive HC. A WR1 who doesn't disrupt and a game wrecking defensive star. He has none of that. -
Traditional vs. 'Modern Day' X Receiver
LABILLBACKER replied to BabyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unfortunately and historically the 5-11 / 190 guy is far more susceptible to injury like Marguise Goodwin. Give me all day long the bigger, stronger wr who still has sub 4.4 speed like Thomas or Mitchell. -
McB are boy scouts. They won't touch him now. Andy on the other hand will see this opportunity as a stroke of luck. And the wheel continues round and round....
