  1. The coach is far less responsible for 11 wins every year than the future HOF qb is. But because of Josh, Sean's job security is as safe as ever.
  2. Kincaid 1000 Shakir 900 Coleman 800 Samuel 700
  3. At this point you're right. You might as well not even plan for these. Whatever falls in our lap is gravy. The fairness of their system should be under scrutiny, but hardly worth stressing over anymore.
  4. I agree, in order to transition to Josh's peak years (28-33), Brady will slightly increase the run attack. This will buy Josh some longevity. Routes will be short to intermediate. I know we have speed in guys like Samuel, Hamler & Isabella but you saw how ineffective Harty was last year. I still don't believe this team has a Chase/Waddle "go route" guy. Coleman will fill an important role and become a very good WR2. But we'll have to do it in 2024 without a true #1. And that may just work out?
  5. Because the NFL helped Brady his whole career. We're starting to see this with Mahomes/Kelce. We're simply not an NFL darling to get those calls. Keon will get flagged some but hopefully his physicality is rewarded by the zebras?
  6. Terry needed to be put out to pasture a decade ago.
  7. Both are true. Diggs needed to Rich down deep and fight the urge to go full diva and Beane should've pulled the trigger on a 2nd wr beyond Coleman. Both are fails....
  8. I will always go on record as saying it was imperative to double dip in last week's wr rich draft. We won't see that deep of a wr draft for awhile. And all of this is amplified by losing Diggs/Davis. We had realistic bites at the apple with Thomas, Mitchell, Leggette, McConkey, Franklin & Walker. I'll give Keon the benefit of the doubt and completely ignore his 40. I've been told by half this board that 40 times are irrelevant. But we still needed that 2nd rookie wr. If for no other reason as insurance if Hollins, Hamler, Shorter, Shavers, Cephus flame out. We all saw how useless Sherfield and Harty were last season.
  9. There's no denying he has above average hands. The tape proves he can catch contested balls using his basketball background. Alot if us screamed (including myself) bloody murder when Allen was taken over Rosen. Maybe most of us are wrong again about Coleman. Time will tell....
  10. Hopefully with all that extra cap$ next year we can sign a speed wr who doesn't drop the ball.
  11. AJE has averaged 3.9 sacks/yr. I think Rousseau is 5.7/yr. Hardly worth 13.4M? Both have been disappointing.
  12. That's all this is, like Edmunds. Give him an extra year to see if he can ever get to 10 sacks. If not, wave goodbye. I've been somewhat underwhelmed with Grootseau.
  13. This is not a reload. It's a rebuild, there's a big difference. And as of right now we have no clue how these guys pan out. Perpetual optimism and "wait till next year" gets old after watching this movie for 55 years.
  14. Samuel is not a wr2 and Cook is no where a star if he can't catch a routine throw. But I do like the idea of diversity considering there's not one receiver to scheme against defensively. This should play somewhat to our advantage. I'll keep an open mind regarding Coleman but he wasn't on my top 10 list.
  15. They had plenty of opportunities to add Mitchell, Franklin or Walker to compliment Coleman. No one to blame but themselves if guys like Hollins, Cephus, Hamler & Shorter flame out.
  16. That was our best team and best shot at a SB with that group. Still can't believe Micah came out of nowhere for that pick. Many of those players will be missed. Some not.....
  17. That's it. The process & culture is officially over. Thank God....took long enough..... +500 Cephus succeeds.....
  18. There's gotta be a 4.80 wr out there somewhere Brandon can target. He's becoming the Bill Belichick of wr evaluators.
  19. I guess Beane in all his infinite wisdom felt we needed only 1 dart. And not a very sharp one at that. We had ample opportunity to get combinations of Thomas, Leggette, Mitchell or McConkey to pair with Wilson, Franklin or Walker. Instead we reach for Coleman and his slow ass 4.61. Beane had an offensive opportunity to reload but he chose to rebuild. And next years draft will not have the wrs we saw this weekend.
  20. If you read my post carefully which obviously you didn't, I didn't say anything about trading up for the top3. It would've cost way too much. But Thomas was there at 23 which might've cost a 4th & 5th to move up. Or how bout guys like Leggette, Mitchell, McConkey? They were all there for the taking. Coleman (who's not even that good) was not enough. Was Julio Jones who helped Atl get to a SB, an unrealistic situation? I'm not even asking for that. Just a 4th & 5th for Thomas. Going after Thomas, Mitchell, Leggette or McConkey were not unrealistic situations.
  21. Smoke on that one Roc....but you seem to be content for the 2024 rebuild...it didn't have to be that way.
