  1. Like you said and I 💯 agree if the drops continue there's no way we keep him beyond his rookie deal. He's a good rb between the 20's but not a redzone power back. He absolutely can't keep dropping easy td passes.
  2. I tend to lean toward this scenario. You either can catch the ball or you can't. I don't think some jugs machine is going to help his focus. We made the correct decision on Tremaine Edmunds & Gabe Davis. I think James follows those 2 into fa.
  3. I don't know? He's not built like a redzone runner and 4 td drops cannot be swept under the rug. Let's see if his ability to catch the ball has improved? If it does then I'm keeping him.
  4. Well we agree on 2 things. He definitely has the yips and unless he improves, he's gone.
  5. Wind or no wind, Bass better start getting back to 82-85%. Elliot didn't have a problem in the rain with that game winning 60 yarder. Viniteri going clutch in the snow. I don't wanna hear the weather excuse train roll in again. I don't even feel confident in Bass beyond 40 yards and neither does McD. Like I said, he gets 1 more year to figure it out or he and his contract are gone. Every point is precious, especially with so many new offensive players.
  6. I still can't believe Haack almost single handedly lost that Jets game a couple years ago. I think he had a 7 and 12 yard punt. This team deserves a better punter and kicker. Bass gets one more year to turn it around. Take a peek at Coughlin from the UFL....93%.
  7. Everything in the regular season always looks like wonderland until the playoffs start.
  8. You mean one of those mini donut tires you can only drive 20 miles on?
  9. Yellow singlets from Macys.
  10. I smell alot of holding calls...
  11. I too have told this story many times. As a 8 yr old kid born and raised in LA (La Crescenta), I loved watching the USC/ UCLA football rivalry. Especially amazing was the young running back of the Trojans. I vowed to myself to follow whatever team drafted OJ. The love affair for the Bills grew more intense each year through good and bad. On the early morning of June 13th, 1994 I was driving delivery north on San Vicente. I noticed a police car and Coroner's van next to this condo complex. Yellow caution tape was up so rather than gawk, I drove on thinking it was just another crime in LA. Later that afternoon the news broke and it blew my mind. After suffering through 4 straight SB loses this happens....what are the odds. Since then it's always been awkward and uncomfortable when friends ask me why I'm a Bills fan. But considering all the wonder this team has brought me well beyond the OJ era, I was meant to be a Bills fan. And seeing the passion of my fellow Mafia brethren only validated that.
  12. I agree...eventually this expensive and unsustainable Tua, Waddle & Hill bubble will burst.
  13. Gunner shot me down 2 weeks ago.
  14. If Chase behaves, I have a sneaky suspicion that he'll not only make the team but really contribute.
  15. Milano is the key to whether this defense has any semblance of competing. If he isn't 100%, we're done. I have little or no faith in Von, AJE & Groot generating pressure while supporting our young and vulnerable secondary.
  16. So true, by now there's not much left. A way you can make your safeties and cb's better is put more pressure on the qbs. Maybe the cupboard is empty on remaining pass rushers, but I know our current top 3 guys may not cut it? Would I like (not love) Aiyuk on a reasonable deal...yes. But I just feel we're done dealing. We're going to roll with this group and pray guys like Solomon, Coleman maybe Claypool step up.
  17. Babich may be the DC, but McDermott will always control the schemes and pacing of our defense. Hopefully we blitz a little less. We stay healthy and have the stamina to make stops in the playoffs. I'd almost be willing to load management selective players if it meant going into the playoffs healthy.
  18. Yeah, Rex & Jauron (Skeletor) were easily my least favorite coaches. Ironic they're both defensive. The lunch pail crap of Chris Kelsay got real old, real fast.
  19. Yeah....the problem won't likely be the offense. It will come down to coaching and keeping the defense healthy. Just once I wish Sean could scheme something up to get the better of Andy....Just once in the playoffs!
  20. I'm just personally tired of the national media narrative that for every JA17 interception, you subtract 1 td. No wonder he never wins the mvp. It's all about minimizing the picks. Regardless of whether you rationalize them into a punt.
  21. Our wrs will be challenging to attack considering opposing DC's won't have a clue who to bracket from week to week. Hopefully everyone stays healthy and focused as Josh spreads the wealth. Be gotta whole bunch of WR3's.......
  22. One play I can do without is the pass behind the LOS. And at least reduce the triple stack wr screen. I'm rooting hard for Claypool to not only make this team but have an impact. He could act as the "double dip" wr we didn't draft. I would like to see less blitzing out of frustration like Shaw and others referred to. I trust whatever combo package McD/Babich come up with, but it's all meaningless if our D can't stay healthy.
