We're never going to be able to evaluate any of these new wrs while Trubisky & DiNucci are on the field. It's basically pointless. And because we're terrified they'll get injured, we'll see them for just a few seconds over the span of 3 preseason games. By the time week 1 roles around, we'll have no clue what we have receiver-wise?

I'll start by saying I feel sorry for Josh. He's deserved better weapons around him in his career, like you see in KC, Cincy, Balt., Miami and SF. My excitement for this particular season has definitely diminished with all these early injuries. We gotta find a way or better conditioning regiment to reduce the injuries. But what do I know? Maybe Superman will rise above all this noise and pleasantly surprise us?

Can we just bubble wrap this whole f-ing team till week 2.

The way I look at it, if we can keep Matakavich for multiple years and then pull Klein from his RV, we can surely find a roster spot for Buffalo Joe.

According to some on this board, even if we had drafted 2-3 wrs, they would likely have gotten injured too. So no matter what we did, we'd be screwed.

The PS should be off the table unless you want to instantly lose him.

At this point it doesn't matter anymore. This organization will continue to waste Josh and have an excuse ready and waiting. The Angels did the same with Trout & Ohtani.

Dude we're hit with injuries every year. And guess what, we'll probably have more injuries next year. I wanted at least a 2nd drafted wr as insurance. You know, in case your house burns down with injuries.

It's all of the above. We've always had bad luck, so that's a constant. Our conditioning staff is terrible. And our organization has terrible foresight after departing (which made perfect sense) with Diggs/Davis. Oh well, these grown up better figure it out.

This is the exact reason why I was pounding the table for us drafting 2-3 wrs this last draft. McB deserves everything they get.

They're both hot sticky garbage I don't care if Wilson has adhd. He lines up better athletically as Josh's backup then Mitch and Kyle. We just need someone capable of winning a couple games. Not Mr. Congeniality.

So far Doc is the leader in the clubhouse for correct spelling.

If it's a 2nd round pick, hell yeah. He dances too much at the LOS and dropped 4 tds last year. He's not getting a 2nd contract. Davis looks good. This team needs a dynamic wr & pass rusher.

As well they should. I'd even take Zach Wilson over MT.

Nobody is preparing for the non season ending injury scenario. The one where Josh is out 2-4 weeks. The one where we need a competent backup to maybe win you a couple games and keep you in the playoff hunt. This is what good organizations do. Not waste $ on embarrassing retreads like Barkley, Keenun, K. Allen or the worst one, Trubisky. Mark my words someday it will bite this team in the ass. And Josh's next injury will Not be season ending.

He'll get poached immediately. I don't care about the UB narrative. He made impressive plays yesterday for someone who was supposed to be a longshot.

Figures....the 2 guys we sign from the Chiefs, flame out for us. Andy working his voodoo magic. I'd put Andreessen ahead of Morrow and even with Jones. DeShawn Williams looked terrible yesterday.

The better version of Mitch disappeared a long time ago. Just another "buddy" overpaid retread who God help us has to win a couple games to keep us in a playoff hunt.

The most important thing he does better than Cook is he immediately attacks the hole, rather than dance around like James.

Andreessen was great and deserves a 53 spot with all the injuries. Hardy should've had 2 ints but still played well. Davis is a solid lock as RB2. If I could replace Trubisky with Zach Wilson tomorrow, I would. DeShawn Williams is awful. Still too many ST penalties. Would've liked JA to play 2 series...Dline looked better.

Hardy could easily have 2 ints. DeShawn Williams sucks.
