[Vague Title] The Defense
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to WizdomCalling's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When you don’t play Brandon Allen, Duck Hodges and Dwayne Haskins every week...your defense may lose some of its teeth. -
Anthony Lynn: Backs Tyrod as Starter
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to BullBuchanan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
wow! Sounds like a NHL Coach. Not your usual scared to say whT color the blue sky is NFL Coach. now attempting to piece together the thought process... Maybe...and we have seen when a QB comes unexpectedly Off the bench they do many times have success in that specific game. maybe Lynn feels that with prep time the opposing teams will not let Herbert look as good and if Herbert really isn’t ready for the full spot light then Lynn will be having to bench his Rookie and that would lead to all sorts of other isssues. -
McD is a “conservative” coach...
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. The passing game is much improved to start 2020. But also, even when McDermotts Offenses we’re struggling to score 17-20 points per game in 2018- 2019 Even during those “lean” times, whenever they played MIAMI, they seemingly took on a Assassin Mentality and really went for the kill. I mean the numbers are what they are. Allen/Buffalo just light up Miami in this Era. I don’t think you have to consider that a bad thing we Buffalo fans have definitely been on the other side of that with Tom Brady’s ownership of the bills in many seasons. Maybe Allen/McDermott just own Miami. -

17 of Allen’s 54 Tds are against Miami. Or 31.48% of all Allen TDs. Those numbers astound me. so I guess...when Buffalo gets rolling on Miami they like to Jack the score...although today was needed. Maybe Pegula still holds onto the rivalry and they want to make the boss man happy. Lol -

Something about playing the DOLPHINS bring out the killers in Allen/Coach McDermott. I mean...Allen has had more TDs in 1 game vs Miami and he had FOUR today! -
So Darnold was seeing Casper again
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would we all have felt better if Darnold lit up the Buffalo Defense with his back up offensive weapons? -
Bills vs Jets Postgame Thread
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This game was very 2019. With a sprinkle of offensive improvement in key categories. BUT The same narrative was still there. Buffalo falls into lull, BUT they are playing an awful opponent and the Defense holds them down. that was the story for about more than half of the games in2019. -
Josh Allen - week ONE report card
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Loved the shorter stuff. Did not love the same old 3rd Quarter hibernation. Hated the fumbles. feels slightly frustrating because we’re going to have to wait until January for the games that will really decide so many of our players futures. -
TNF: Texans at Chiefs (-9) 8:20 NBC

If this is how limited fans are...empty stadiums will be dreadful to watch. there is just nothing happening. I GUESS the players want to be there...maybe. -

Which Bills did you draft in fantasy?
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to BuffaloBillies's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Buffalo Defense. and Diggs Diggs was buried on Yahoo Fantasy. But the 14 man league draft I do is in a couple days and that one has more Bills Fans than the my first draft. So we will see how long Diggs lasts. -
There is a certain quiet secret that Local Bills fans don’t really discuss. We were all brainwashed at a very young age to think that Buffalo bills football is the end all be all I mean if you have a certain age Buffalo Bills football was really the only thing that put the area you lived in any sort of pride or put you on the national map. Basically the only ticket in town. so your feelings I would not look at as bad I might say this is a great thing for you. A nice splash of cold water. Imagine if there was a nice Sunday afternoon in the fall and you didn’t feel fear or superstition or beholden to the fact that you have to watch the bills or else they won’t win because I can tell you that a large percentage of people who watch this game think that the team wins or loses based on them personally watching the game from a certain chair or a certain seat. Lol The second pandemic hit and the NFL was not an essential job it just kind of hammered it home it’s just entertainment it’s just a revolving wheel. it just comes and goes teams win teams lose none of it really matters in the long run unless you’re part of a team which no fan is. This fall actually open up more opportunities for you

I’m seeing 12+ wins for this team...
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This team is such an enigma. Loaded with talent on paper, but have been so little tested as a group. And for the tests they have faced...lost almost all of them. Just don’t know what they will do against good teams/quarterbacks considering their track record. still though...9-7 at least -
Bills announce no fans for 1st 2 home games
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When there are 79 thousand fans screaming their butts off...and Brady still drives the Patriots to a game winning drive...what does that show you? -
“General manager Brandon Beane on Wednesday suggested the Bills viewanything that happens at practice to be valuable information the other 31 teams can use. ” LOL! It’s so hard to take this sport seriously anymore when this type of mentality exists. ???? ”Becareful! Don’t spill the beans that we provide our players liquids to refresh!” ??????

RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Say the NFL PLAYOFFS were to go into a Bubble Format. and teams like Green Bay, Steelers or Buffalo went from January playoff games against warm climate teams and instead having to play them in Vegas/Atlanta/Houston. I think that makes a much bigger difference than fans yelling. -
Bills announce no fans for 1st 2 home games
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2019 Buffalo had a good team. And the sold out stadiums didn’t help them beat any of the three good teams they played (Eagles, Ravens, Patriots) But buffalo did beat Bengals, Dolphins, Washington and Denver. Arss you saying the team needed the fans to help beat Bengals, Miami, Washington and Denver? If anything it’s the WEATHER more than the fans when teams visit buffalo. -

Many. Many wins and many loses. Crowd screamed just as loud for both. -

Buffalo in 8-8 at home past 2 seasons Wins against Mariota, Bortles, Tannehill, Stafford, Dalton, Fitz, Haskins, Brandon Allen Loses against Rivers, Brady, Brady, Darnold, Darnold, Trubisky, Wentz, Jackson Fan noise? I think it’s just quality of your opposing quarterback. -

They should tack on a few more or maybe the whole season while they are at it. Players don’t need fans there. Take a look at the NHL or NBA. Players can still hit game winning threes or miss game winning threes with or without fans. If you think fan presence has any impact. That’s a fable. i mean we know us Buffalo Fans. Don’t we? A decade of plus of sold out stadiums that resulted in some of the worse losing in history of sports. Team will be just fine or not with or without anyone. -
Josh Allen’s offense vs Sam Darnold’s offense
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So interesting about Allen/Darnold they play, they miss some time, they win or lose, different styles, different competence with front offices and coaches and different talent levels... end of the day they both sit comfortably in the 20s rankings of most passing categories with Darnold beating Allen in some and Allen beating Darnold in others. Each one 1-1 against the other. pick it up guys. You were both traded up for in the draft pick it up.
