    rankings don't matter, an undefeated big conference champion will be picked over a one-loss non-champion hold your horses, relax, and watch some good football games in the next few weeks. [there's no way Baylor and Minnesota are going undefeated, but let them enjoy their rare 0-loss season to date...]

    You don't count givens until they happen there is nothing wrong with waiting for Baylor to probably lose to both OU and Texas but until then they are in the driver's seat Minnesota with one loss with be thrown under the bus in 2 seconds. a 3 or 4 loss Michigan will get a better bowl than a one-loss Minnesota

    duh.... when you win you have more points and if you win 13 or 14 times it would take a heck of a lopsided set of losses to upset standing for point differential the stat adds NOTHING of use.
