  1. 7-11 ready-to-eat sauasages spinning on that heating contraption for about 12 hours
  2. Funny thing is, as I see the media gushing over the game ( these tweets plus NFLN and ESPN) I didn’t think it was all that great and definitely not a “ classic” by any measure. The great Bill Belichick had no idea how to stop the Chiefs, and even their first half redzone failures were mostly bad throws by Mahomes. He tried his old tricks from the early 2000s such as having defenders stand up at the LOS. Big deal, the Pats D was mostly terrible. The Chiefs are playing with a taxi squad defense that wasn’t much better before half the secondary was injured. To a casual fan this may have been a good game, but it was a display of defensive ineptitude that left one longing for the truly great contests of the 1980s and early ‘90s. Games between elite teams that played tough defense, but featured offenses so good they could still manage to score 30 to win. Last nights bumbling Ds were more akin to outclassed mid level college programs facing the NCAA elite.
  3. He’s a fighter.....for Jesus! But an absolutely terrible QB
  4. I think it’s more incompetence and lack of ability to evaluate offensive players.
  5. Lol.... seems this is what the NFL wants now and sets everything up for it, yet the Bills can’t get a first down. Anyway, I do miss tough, solid defense being played in the league. 43-40 is more about the lack of defensive ability ( and the rules) than it is about truly great offense.
  6. Hill was great, but he doesn’t play defense does he ? Odd headline by sportsnet. Anyway, I’d argue that neither team was very good at “stopping “ the other tonight. Someone had to have the ball last, and unfortunately it was the Patriots.
  7. He has those things, but if you’re arguing that Mahomes doesn’t have great talent you’d be wrong. You could put Nathan Peterman into that offense and he’d still be terrible.
  8. True. But then Belichick is no skinflint, has more chins than a Chinese phonebook yet he’s still going.
  9. You can speculate that but you don’t know. We do know Mahomes settled for FGs in the first half. That = a loss. Their D is bad, but NEs isn’t great at all.
  10. He didn’t score enough. The other guy did. I hate TB with a passion, but that’s how it is.
  11. I would have loved if he would have began doing this tonite and defeated Brady.
  12. Unfortunately this is probably true. I’d just like to watch a NE free SuperBowl for once . This team makes me hate football
  13. That was the lamest attempt at a tackle ever made
  14. This is a Sunday nite thread ... shut up already ( kept it clean )
  15. Nope he wasn’t going to come down with his weight on Brady at all
  16. Probably because the official saw Brady about to be sacked... Hasn’t been one of consequence called tonite
  17. Wow... Brady was dead to rights there. Just awful by 57 .. this is Brady not exactly a running threat out there. Guy let him go
  18. The prices aren’t because of the city the Bills play in, unless you’re talking about the weather. It’s an outdated stadium without climate control in a cold weather area. Still has too many seats. There just is no pricing power.
  19. Was that a legit spot on the return. Sure looked like the ball was around the 1 . Just wondering
  20. It wasn’t how the play was designed that’s for sure
  21. Why wasn’t that ball spotted at the one on the return ? Did I miss something
  22. Sure, as we know Peterman can’t do this. Won’t help the situation this year though. Have to roll with Allen ( if healthy) but Daboll and the rest of these coaches have to change something up to help out.
  23. With NE , it’s not really about the correct calls they make. It’s the ones the officials choose to overlook
