  1. Yeah, sure looked like he broke something. Initially I thought he just fell on the ball, but obviously not. Hope he can recover.
  2. I won’t convince you and you won’t convince me. Believe everything is on the up and up if you wish, you’re entitled to that opinion. Enjoy the playoffs ! Still exciting even without the Bills, though I’d love to see them back sooner than later.
  3. Jones is a douche and the coverage of that team is uber annoying. However, I cannot forgive SEA for gift wrapping a Lombardi trophy to the evil empire by refusing to hand Lynch the ball on successive attempts until he scored from the one. Dumbest thing ever in a Supe until Shanahan rewrote the book for a quarter and a half!
  4. Hmmmm .. closet Patriots fan ? I suppose the officials just mistakenly miss all the holds by their offense as well ? Again many things are known but evidence kept hidden by those in power. It’s how the world works.
  5. I wanted the Colts to win as it it would give NE a tougher matchup next week imo. I can’t stand the Cowboys or SEA, but I’ll say Cowboys win 27-24. Tomorrow I think both road teams are highly capable of the upset.
  6. Many things are generally known while the evidence is kept carefully suppressed . Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves, especially in the area of business deals and governments.
  7. Right ...and while he’s at it , do a side business deal with T Pegs that will funnel extra $$ to him off the team books .Helps keep the cap hit down !
  8. Kudos to Beane , Daboll et al and of course Foster. I ,along with many other fans was highly skeptical of this guy. One of the bigger turnarounds of a Bills player that I can recall. Excited for the future potential of Allen to Foster. They seem to have developed a chemistry and the prospects look good going forward.
  9. Yeah, a restructure is helpful but it’s not a give up by the player. Just money now vs money later, which is better for the player anyway. All that matters is the % of cap dedicated to the position, not the $$ amount. NE deal with Brady is a different animal altogether and kinda shady. This stuff helps, but it’s not the reason for consistent success.
  10. I’m thinking upset on that one as well. Eagles are just different with Foles. Nagy sure is confident in his D, as he could easily have sat players in second half last week knowing they would play MIN again. We’ll see. As for the OPs title, I can’t believe that “ fog bowl “ game was 30 years ago. Doesn’t seem like it.
  11. Oddly enough although I never cared for Stephon, I liked Sammy and still do. Of course, that would end if he ever wore a Pats uniform.
  12. Could happen. He only has one more year of Pegulabucks coming his way, and by then he may just be forgotten. I could see him doing this to keep his name out there for the inevitable Coach firings/ staff shuffling next year too. 5 mil for doing nothing while talking on TV is a lotta groceries.
  13. And most fans would concur with this sentiment regardless of their dislike / liking of Gilmore
  14. Not really. It had something to do with drafting White and that can be a sound strategy. Passing on Mahomes was / is an ( organizational) issue but it had zero to do with Gilmore .
  15. Rubbish. How many times did Gilmore make AP all pro team when he was a Bill ? Honestly, it’s possible to not like Gilmore and still know something about football. Not everyone on this board washes Patriot balls and thank goodness for that.
  16. Cool story, but I still don’t like Gilmore and glad they didn’t resign him. However as BADOL pointed out, if it meant drafting Mahomes and keeping SG I’d sign up for that. Come to think of it, I don’t like Marrone too much either.
  17. Patently false, pure BS. If the Bills let White walk, many fans would be disgruntled. Many didn’t care for SG when he was here for football reasons and his lack of fiery play. Nothing wrong with wanting to play for a winner, and no team keeps all their drafted players. It’s my opinion and impression from watching him play as a Bill. Your mileage may vary.
  18. Never wanted to be here , the guy’s a tool. Doesn’t really love the game and it showed in BUF.
  19. For the other side of this, see Solder, Nate. Works both ways, and no one can really say the officials don’t look the other way when you’re wearing a Pats* helmet.
  20. Nope. Might pass for OK on a cruise ship but that’s about it. File it in who cares bin. Bills secondary is doing just fine without ol’ Steph around. Still wouldn’t have paid him.
  21. All Pro has a lot more weight than Pro Bowl for sure, but there’s an obvious bias toward everything New England in the media.
  22. Deion was soft, but he was soooo good in just about every other area that it made up for it. Still never liked the guys style, but he was exceptional. Just don’t want guys like Gilmore on my team. He’s much easier to root against than root for.
  23. White is just as good if not better and a more likeable personality. It’s not hard to understand. Fans want to like their team. Gilmore is good, but overrated now that he’s a Pat. I still didn’t want the Bills to pay him and I’m glad they didn’t.
  24. This cannot be overstated. He gets away with a lot more now that he has the “ eagle wing” on his helmet. Makes a world of difference.
  25. Watch who they have in for the official visits at those positions.
