What was the furthest you traveled to see the Bills play?
Boatdrinks replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Miami. Just under 1200 air miles from Buffalo. Had a chance to go to Pasadena for Super Bowl but didn’t go. Wouldn’t mind a west coast game or Arizona, that’ll be next on the list. -
Updated Beasley signing to practice squad
Boatdrinks replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen ( according to reports) felt that bringing back Beasley (and Brown) was a great idea. That’s all I need to know. Certainly more important than some fans getting their feelz in a wad over our slot WRs opinions on twitter. I feel better about the Bills offensive prospects going forward than I did a few weeks ago. Cheers to “ the band” being back together ! Go Bills! -
Fish in Orchard Park - Snow Game ✅
Boatdrinks replied to WEATHER DOT COM's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looks to be 1-3” of snow in the evening. Game time temp around 29 and WSW winds at 10mph - not all that windy really. 8pm-11pm around 70% chance of snow falling at .20 in per hour. Seems pretty manageable but probably need another day or two for it to shift into focus for Saturday night -
Can’t wear them this year as the Bills didn’t request it with the league or something. I’d guess we will see them next season sometime though.

Big Man Touchdown: Who Ya Got?
Boatdrinks replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems like it was more of a Daboll thing, but I wouldn’t hate seeing one this week. -
Classic non- contact ACL injury , just on natural grass. Unusual in that regard , these are generally “ turf monster” injuries. This late in the season means AZ will be down a QB for pretty much next season too.

It's Miami Week! You know what that means...HAIKU

Jerry Sullivan crosses the line. Comments against women.
Boatdrinks replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m pretty sure he is , from things he has said on the radio in the past. -
BROCK PURDY: for real or fools gold ?
Boatdrinks replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably not for real, but far too early to tell. Seems like a guy you can root for from what I could tell. -
Week 15: Dolphins at Bills on Saturday Night Football
Boatdrinks replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretty sure Sal C said the Bills did not do this in time to wear a 2nd helmet this season. -

The man is a curmudgeon and has been for as long as I can remember. -
Updated Beasley signing to practice squad

I like this move .. a lot. The middle of the field has been a void for Josh since Crowder was injured. A couple weeks to ramp up maybe then here we go. Could definitely help, we need a chain mover. -
Bills transactions today - signings and call ups
Boatdrinks replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretty sure all players subject to waivers at this point in the season. Maybe they’ll put in a claim but they’re far down the pecking order. If he clears perhaps they will bring him in. They tend to like “ their guys”. -
Orlovsky: Bills aren't as talented offensively as we thought
Boatdrinks replied to Billz4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall
They’ve got talent. Just not as much as some thought. Dorsey needs to scheme this offense up more effectively. He started off well, but teams caught up and he hasn’t added many wrinkles to offset that. -
As Bills fans, the team controlling their own destiny is probably the best we could ( realistically) hope for. It should be celebrated, but no one is forgetting about the Cincinnati game. It’s 3 weeks away though, and the Bills have the task of securing a division championship at hand first. The Bills may be an underdog in that game, but that doesn’t influence the outcome. The Bills haven’t had a 10-3 or better record at this point since the 1991 season from what I can recall. They will have an opportunity to secure the #1 seed for the playoffs on their own in the last 4 games and that’s a great place to be as a Bills fan.

You can’t be serious here. Milano’s hit on White was a textbook example of how to hit the QB in todays NFL - without drawing a flag. Watch it again.. it’s perfect, right down to not bringing your weight down on him when hitting the ground. It wouldn’t have mattered if it was Mahomes. A flag on that play would have been criminal.

Our OL vs Pats DL. Different than our OL vs Jets DL. Really a game of matchups -
Right, which means the MVP has shifted to a “ player of the year” type award and not what it’s name indicates : the player most valuable to his team. It’s a giant “ who cares ?” from me. We all know this team would probably be a bottom feeder without Josh Allen. I think many QBs could have a great season on the Eagles. Whatever….

Not huge on booing, but fans are paying to watch a competitive performance for 3 hours. McKenzie is an entertainer and like it or not he makes a lot of money doing it. If fans see a poor performance it’s their right to express their displeasure. Doesn’t matter if they know him personally or not. It comes with the territory and you can’t have thin skin. I personally would never comment on an athletes social media either, but that is the scourge on humanity that is social media in the first place .

Bills can clinch a playoff spot this week
Boatdrinks replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
In a way I’d rather see MIA in than the Jets. Don’t get me wrong I want the Bill to crush the Dolphins this week but the Jets D is pretty tough. -
