Yes , Bills hype was over the top early in the year. The pundits have reverted to their true colors and that’s fine. Agree on SF- they’re my dark horse for the SB in the NFC. The more I see them the more I get the feeling they end up winning the NFC. They are dominant in the trenches and have a super QB friendly offensive system. Fans forget that they won the NFC championship game a few seasons back where Garrapolo hardly passed the ball.

A record for the first 6 seasons sounds odd. It’ also includes the first years of an NFL players development at a difficult position to transition to from college ball. It probably takes five years to know if your drafted QB is good or it’s time to move on. That’s why there’s a fifth year option for first round picks. Anyway, at the game’s key position it’s a remarkable number to achieve in the first 5 years. That you have to go back to Marino , who had a rookie campaign for the ages says a lot.

Let them Keep doubting Allen and downplaying his abilities. The Bills have beaten the Chiefs at Arrowhead two of the last 3 times we’re a few seconds and some questionable defensive strategy away from winning all 3. Meanwhile the Bengals were down 17-3 at Tampa ( who promptly turned the ball over 4 times in the second half to lose ) and nearly fell to the Patriots on Sunday. Yet those teams are talked up as unstoppable. The anti Bills and anti Allen bias has resurfaced, but I believe that will serve to motivate Josh even more.

I get it, it’s a simple play that should be executed cleanly most of the time, but bad snaps do happen. Watching , I was definitely more tense before that play than watching Josh miss a 5 yard pass he should make in his sleep. There’s just no point lamenting each missed play in a loss. Teams lose games and all that matters is the next one. The Bills have a great opportunity and control their own destiny.

Agree. It’s about matchups and the Bills matchup better with New England. Miami is capable of keeping it close and can score quickly with those WRs. Tua is what he is , but he’s better than Jones.

No , the stat is not misleading. It’s EXACTLY what it says it is. Stats do not come with asterisks and/ or projections on what other players would have done if a. b. or c. happened. Mahomes was assigned the backup role by his coaches. If they thought he would break records as a rookie he would have played. There is no way to know what he would have/ might have done.

Or if they could complete a 5 yard TD pass Vs MIA , or convert a chip shot FG, or Davis hangs on to a TD catch, or if they could beat the Jets with Wilson at QB… etc etc see how easy this is ? You could do this for any team unless they go undefeated. No team plays their best for 17 games and other teams in the league have good players that make plays from time to time. You can’t pin it on any one loss when none were blowouts. They all count the same in the standings. The Bills have a great shot to earn the #1 overall seed and home field thought on their own. They don’t need to rely on other teams to do this for them. That’s a great situation to be in with just 2 weeks remaining.
