Again, It’s winning the AFC title. Yes the division and even the #1 seed would be great, but they don’t matter if you don’t win the AFC. Do the Titans feel they had a successful season because they were the top seed? If the Bills don’t win the AFC they haven’t reached the top in their conference and things will not have changed much. They simply have to find a way to win the AFC. They’ve won playoff games and the division. Time to take the next step as AFC Champion.

I completely agree. Daboll had a great game plan for that matchup in Foxboro last December and Josh was excellent. I’m not sure if Dorsey will be up to the task.

It was a 2nd from Ravens. Bears likely would have taken BAL 2nd over BUF 2nd so what would the cost have been from Bills to get it done ? It’s not as easy as they paid X so I would have matched that. He’d still be heading to Ravens.

It was more sad that for years when they needed critical yards they didn’t have a QB that could get them.
-
They will definitely be looking to apply a head shot, I have no doubt about that. They don’t care about a flag or a fine.

Thank goodness Allen didn’t slide. They needed every yard and the slide would have changed the spot for the kick by quite a bit. 2 less yards and that kick was probably no good. They needed to win the game and if it requires Allen to sell out then so be it.

Have to agree on the defensive scheme. Have to adjust with this many injuries and we haven’t see much flexibility. As for Dorsey, has he just been figured out? He was strong out of the gate, but an offense has to evolve over the season to break tendencies.

A Chiefs fan ? Well, so much for hot. I mean, some things are non- negotiable.

Criticism of McD and coaching has reached insanity level…

It would take a masterful coaching job and some really creative and heavy use of Josh. Definitely am outside the box type game plan. -

Exactly. Without Allen this team is struggling to stay around .500 -
It’s a good thing timing wise too, as NE is pretty good running the ball. The Bills will need him if they’re going to win this game.

Bill Lions set Thanksgiving viewership record
Boatdrinks replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Disagree, especially with Lions game. Numbers up huge from last year, why ? Thanksgiving holiday happened last year. Josh Allen was playing, that’s why. Teams and stars matter a lot. Even more in 12:30 slot. -

I agree the performance has slipped post bye week. Josh was off even prior to the injury. I do think Dorsey appears less creative than Daboll. -
Less talented players being forced into starting roles.

Haven’t loved the coaching at all moments, but who does? The Bills have lost 3 very close games and it took a depleted roster in 100 degree heat ( with a dropped TD , end zone int , missed FG and a ridiculously bad touch pass ) , a turnover filled game from Josh and a fumbled snap for those to happen. I don’t think coaching had much to do with any of those losses. Others may disagree. Besides, last I knew Andy Reid isn’t available. -
Easy ; win the AFC Championship game. The Bills will then represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. If not , they’re the stepchild next to the Chiefs and no further along than they’ve been. That cannot be considered success. Playing in the Super Bowl is definitely success , but heck yeah I’d love for them to win it.

That was an MCL for Kelly and he returned 4 weeks later for the playoffs. The Bills had a critical game at home the week after the injury vs MIA essentially for the AFCE title. Frank Reich played in place of Kelly and got the win, leaving just a meaningless season finale @ Washington then the bye before the eventual SB run. While Miller has a meniscus and not MCL, hopefully he can return for the playoff run. It’s similar in that they’ll be fighting for the AFCE title without him.

Nothing misleading about it : it’s exactly what it says it is. Without the player’s first year it’s not the same record. There’s no cherry picking going on. Why didn’t Mahomes win the job year one? He wasn’t exactly backing up Manning or Favre. Not knocking him , but it’s not the same thing.
