  1. I think Beane has done a very good job, and I think most would agree. But this is a big error on his part. He should call a presser and own it.
  2. Beane needs to do a presser and face the music
  3. I imagine they like some CBs in the draft. And I think the coaches like Ingram more than we know
  4. I was thinking about the critique of small linebackers this morning, and Jack Lambert came to mind. Didn’t weigh more than 210 but one of the all time greats. Of course he had the Steel Curtain in front of him.
  5. Not worried about the offense at all. And looks like we have some guys on D that will be upgrades.
  6. Another non-shining moment.
  7. Too bad it didn’t work out. Beanie’s one big mistake.
  8. Looks like I was wrong about safety. Hamlin and now this guy from the Commanders.
  9. I disagree. He’s in a position to go BPA or move up to grab a guy they really want. It is of course imperative that they get some real talent doing so; there have been critiques that he’s gotten starters and solid guys in the top rounds but other than Josh no truly elite guys.
  10. Love me a big tub of goo!
  11. Good depth. Rapp and Bishop are starters. If the kid from Georgia or South Carolina is there at 30 I can see drafting one high.
  12. Free agency. Guys always get overpaid.
  13. Brandon has a history of plugging holes in free agency so he doesn’t have obvious gaps going into the draft. We needed a pass rusher, he gets Bosa. A bigger outside WR? Palmer. Gets Hoechst to bolster the D line. I expect we’ll see a CB added in the next couple days, maybe bring back Douglas. I expect a big DT to be added. And that will probably be it. Some are thinking safety but I think they’re good with Rapp and Bishop as starters. I also think they redo Benford but maybe not Cook yet. So going into the draft Brandon won’t feel forced into focusing on a specific position. I do think he’ll be looking at the big DTs; might just be bias on my part because I always want them to draft a big pile of goo to anchor the D line. I could see him moving up for a guy like Grant in round 1.
  14. Interesting move. Comes down to him staying healthy or not.
  15. It wasn’t a great FA class. Most important moves involved either resigning guys or trades.
  16. I wouldn’t mind bringing Gilmore and Campbell here. I think Gilmore could fill the spot opposite Benford and help younger guys like Ingram. Same with Campbell since I assume we’re drafting a big DT this year.
  17. That was not the claim made by the poster. Read what he wrote then comment.
  18. while the early rounders will be benched, with hopes that they develop. The claim from your post. Which was shown to be in serious error. I don’t have to put up stats because that was not the point you tried to make.
  19. and you made a statement that was flat out wrong
