    He threw for 295 and 191 per game average his first two full seasons with the Chargers. He got traded because of injury and because the Chargers didn’t think he was the guy. I only brought him up because you said all the greats had it figured out along the same time line for Allen. That’s just not true. Which is not to say Allen doesn’t need to continue improving.

    No. If the playoff season two years ago we had some stinkers but McD kept the team focused and they came back with good games.

    And gave up over 30. And both lines stunk. Which is the primary reason we only scored 14 and gave up what we gave up. Are you going to seriously say that the line play had nothing to do with today’s outcome?

    I think Johnson during the telecast pointed out long throws make up less than 5% of offensive plays. Allen needed to be better today, but the ineptness the second half to me involved the O line getting killed.

    Today was defensive and offensive faults and because of being dominated up front. Winning football happens up front as it has since football was invented.

    I could care less about other games this year. They mean nothing to today's game which is the topic of conversation. Allen needs to continue to improve. To imply today’s loss is his fault is ridiculous.
