  1. I’m wondering if Josh liked the play. Many say he didn’t. If so then I wonder why he didn’t change the play.
  2. Correct. Should have realized that. Thanks. Could have audibles then if he didn’t like the play.
  3. Oh wow. You’re the expert. Explain
  4. Roll out. See if one TE leaks open. Of if he can run it in. Or throw it away if nothing is there.
  5. Then maybe the latter is the problem. You don’t like the play but as a veteran QB run it anyway? Brady said today with hindsight maybe he makes a different call. But hindsight is 20/20. But Josh has the option there. He could have rolled out and thrown it away if nothing was there. So spare me your crap about no QB in history and the rest of your histrionics. If he did great. Just didn’t work.
  6. Why not? You don’t like the play spike it and get a different call. A lot of folks here are saying Josh didn’t like the call. So don’t run the play. Nope. Already said they shouldn’t have called the TO and have talked repeatedly about not changing things up on D. But if Josh really didn’t like the call then either audible or spike it. Or can’t an MVP caliber QB be trusted to do that?
  7. Agreed. Because you can’t stand having your incessant McD rants challenged in any way. Stay out of the thread then.
  8. The spike the damn thing. Go to a rollout. If he doesn’t like the play don’t run it.
  9. He just s an All Pro QB and the likely MVP. If he didn’t like the call spike it and get a different play call. So a play that has been over 90% successful going into the game can’t be the right call? Get over yourself. And again if Josh wasn’t happy with it spike it and get another call.
  10. Then change it or spike it. They were successful on 13/14 sneaks going into yesterday so saying it’s never the right call is silly.
  11. BS. They were 13/14 on sneaks going into the game. They needed the two guys behind him to push. Which is why I wonder why Josh didn’t either audible or spike if in fact he didn’t like the call.
  12. This is why I’d love someone to be a fly on the wall. With the right package I think they score. So I’d love to know if Josh liked the play because he could have changed it or spiked it.
  13. Meant to LABacker.
  14. You name one stop on a sneak but say lately there have been others. When? The stats I can find say we were successful on 13/14 going into yesterday’s game.
  15. I get your thought about the block
  16. I presume Brady called the sneak. And I have to presume Josh liked it as well. If he didn’t he could have audibled or just spiked it. Would love to have someone ask questions about that.
  17. You are lying, no other way to put it. The TO meant we had to recover an onside kick. Remote possibility but not zero. So you keep lying about it.
  18. It did not make it 0%. That is a lie.
  19. I have already said I would not have called the TO. This is the second time you refuse to answer the question so I’ll pose it again. Do you honestly believe we could have scored, stopped them for a 3 and out, then got in position to kick a FG all within time remaining? Do you honestly believe given how their offense dominated all night that would have happened?
  20. It did no such thing. You have a shot at the onside kick. Which given the way McVay toyed with our D all game was likely about the same odds as our stopping them from getting a first down. Thanks for not answering the question. It’s a habit of yours.
  21. Does anyone here honestly, truly believe what you’re saying? That somehow we score on the very first play from the one yard line? And that the Rams then somehow fail to convert a first down when they get the ball back? Despite their offense absolutely dominating the defense the entire game? And that then if that miracle occurs we somehow gain what we need in a short period of time, get the FG team on and kick a winner? How many people honestly believe that all would have happened? I don’t. I think it would have taken two downs to score. And there’s not the slightest doubt in my mind they close it out with a first down. Would I have taken the TO? No. But ultimately our chances were extraordinarily remote either way.
  22. Having only 9 was inexcusable but had no effect on the outcome
  23. Your math is correct, but in the context of this game I don’t think we had any chance of stopping them from getting a first down, time outs available or otherwise.
  24. That’s an interesting point. I suspect we get more pressure against Tua. Plus I think Stafford is way better than Tua and McVay is way better than McDaniel.
  25. Not that I am trying to drive McD out of town, but if you want a guy that has experience taking a team on the verge of winning over the top then hire Gruden. He and Josh would be an interesting pair.
