Bet they were tempted to call Stroud short too. -

Terrible spot then a BS penalty. Can the league make it more obvious? -

Any doubt who the league wants to win? That call was ridiculous. -
Divisional Round, Ravens v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

24-20 Bills. McD confuses Jackson at Highmark just like a couple years ago -
One of the most unique personalities ever. Godspeed.

You seem determined to crap on the Bills. Why? You can’t compare 2022 to this year, because there are way too many variables. First, all the off the field stuff highlighted by a teammate almost dying in front of them. It seemed obvious the team was out of gas against the Bengals; you can’t place a specific on how all those incidents affected players mentally. On the field you have new coordinators on either side of the ball. Brady’s offense seems an improvement over 2022, Josh has matured, better running game, no need to feed any specific WR, and a really solid O line. Defense no Frazier, better LB play with Bernard, worse safety play without Poyer and Hyde. We will see a helluva football game Sunday night. Each team has to figure out a way to slow down the other team’s run game. Both teams have to deal with top notch QBs at the tops of their games. I plan to enjoy it and I think the Bills will win; home advantage will help. You apparently don’t.

The Bills didn’t have a teammate almost die on the field in front of them this year.

The reason Ravens maybe the most difficult out for the Bills
oldmanfan replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
You underestimate the Bills O line. Most people do. If the offense under Brady has not convinced you yet that a “true” #1 is not critical, it’s likely you simply refuse to see it. -
Well stated as always Shaw

I give up. Between that “pass” and that “unnecessary roughness” call it is clear I no longer have any idea what the rules are for pro football.
-
They were still trying to get the guy down, Van Ginkel was coming in to assist and he got blocked. Ridiculous call.

Is this Ravens game reminiscent of Buffalo/KC in 1991?

We have a lot of important guys playing Sunday who didn’t in week 4. Plus we’re at home. Plus this is around the time when Jackson gags. We have a good shot. -
This Bills O-Line is Super Bowl caliber!!!
oldmanfan replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I got irritated last week with all the talk about the Bronco’s D line leading the lead in sacks, but hardly any mention of the Bills O line giving up the the least amount of sacks. But the pundits can go ahead and keep dissing the Bills; I think they’ll use it as even more motivation. -
Watch out for the Broncos

I wear the same clothes until a loss. During the win streak it was my blue Kelly jersey and Bills T shirt underneath. When we lost to the Pars I didn’t know what to do, since we basically gave that one away. So I polled my 2 daughters and 3 nieces and the unanimous vote was to stay with Jimbo. And it worked!

It was a bad call. But I think Vinovich is the best ref in the NFL. Better to give a warning like that.
-
I see it differently. We’ll hear all week about how they are a bad matchup because of Henry, but no one will talk about how we ran for 200 yards yesterday. I can see us using our 6 man line with Anderson and controlling the ball with Cook. Keep it out of their hands.

They are. But you won’t hear about that from any of the “pundits” this week. -
And the ignoring of Cook
-
We’re going to hear a lot about how they are a bad matchup for us. But we won’t hear a thing about how our offense is a bad matchup for them. Our O line is playing great, we have a run game that uses 3 RBs and Josh, and a set of receivers that are all capable of making plays.
-
It’s not that. It’s that you don’t acknowledge the defense was missing about half its starters in the earlier game. I would also ask the pundits and such when they will acknowledge that we pose a difficult matchup for them.

Has Bills D turned the corner with Milano back to almost normal?

Be sad then. Your choice. -

The D is completely healthy this time. Got to get the job done. Focus on Henry and force Jackson to beat you through the air. -
Why would you hope you’re right?

We have to slow down Henry. They have to slow down Cook.
