I agree completely.

I said before last season, and repeat again before this season, the most important person on the offense other than Josh is Joe Brady. He did well last year, and his philosophy of mixing the run and pass was very effective. He needs to continue to improve and tweak things. He needs to scheme effectively to use his new weapons in Palmer and Moore, and to maximize usage of guys like Coleman’s and Kincaid. To me if there is any personnel thing that concerns me right now it is making sure they have Cook on the field in a proper mindset to have a big year.

I’ve never diluted my wings with blue cheese. Ranch of course is never an option unless you use it only for the celery.

I am trained as a scientist, so when I look at data in a paper or wherever I look back at what is called Materials and Methods. That is, how was the data collected and analyzed. So when I look at the Y and X axes of the graph, I’m not sure how they evaluate the depth of separation (Y axis) or grade (X axis). That would be helpful in interpreting it.

One pass. I believe we scored more points than any other team last offseason. But you go ahead and keep on with your obsession. Maybe you can make multiple threads again. Enter Moore.
-
Yep. Our offense really sucked last year.
-
Continual improvement is always the goal. But it’s not like our offense was bad last year.

Don’t like it. If I want to watch rugby I’ll watch rugby.

I think you’ve brought this film thing up before. You imply that the Bills are the only team in the league that does not review film. Teams may change defenses and the Bills will look at film and alter strategies as needed. I would also remind you that teams the latter part of last year had an entire season of film on Brady’s offense, yet we scored more points than anyone. The formation with 4 guys on one side of the formation and one guy on the other was in particular very successful; teams knew Brady would run it but had trouble stopping it. I really don’t think Cooper gave us much, but we’ll miss Hollins as much for his blocking and special teams work as his receiving.

I too think we need to see improvement, but a must? Recall we had one of the best offenses in the league last year. Kincaid should be better coming back from injury, and Coleman should be better having gained necessary experience last year..

I know he was working out with CeeDee Lamb this off-season.
-
Agreed.

I would point out here that some of the Bills best players like Bernard, Benford, Brown, and Cook were 2nd round or lower.
-
I get you, and agree on the guys you listed.

And he drafted guys like Taron, Groot, Brown, Benford, Bernard, Oliver that have made impacts. The problem with this chat room in general is twofold: 1. Impatience. Some expect a player has to be great year 1, and improve from there. 2. Black and white. Some believe you either have to be an All Pro to have “impact”, or you’re a bum. No in between. We have a solid roster of players that are doing a good job, otherwise they would not have the records they’ve had the past several seasons.

He needs to play like he did before his injury. With some improvement. Can you expand on your second paragraph statement? Names for example? Or how many 20-22 year olds that Beane drafted that struggled?
-
Let’s just shoot him. And from now on with rookies if they have one bad outing, the same.

Some vets and rookies taking in the bandits game.

If I ever move back I’m getting seasons for the Bandits. -
I agree with most of this. Beane tends to use FA and of course the trade for Diggs for the WR position. My point is simply that it is premature at best to write off a guy in Coleman that has been on the field for less than one full season.

James Worthy is a retired LA Laker I believe. The Chiefs offense is great because they have a first ballot HOF head coach that is great at calling plays, a first ballot HOF QB who is great at executing the offense, and a first ballot HOF TE that has defied coverage schemes for years. Not because they have great WRs. Look back at the Chiefs drafts the past few years. Guys like Skye Moore, Cornell Powell, Mecole Hardman. Not exactly threats.
-
Which WRs made the Chiefs offense a juggernaut the past couple years?
-
So now a day 3 pick who hasn’t played a down in the league is proof Beane is bad at his job. I love this time of year.

I’ll say this as plainly as I can: Coleman was a rookie. He missed time last year in addition to being a rookie. He has things to learn. Like getting back to speed after an injury. Writing him off after just over half a season is ridiculous.
