  1. Put physical talent aside. You have to have the physical talent to make all the throws and such. That's a given. What makes the greats great are their ability to master the mental aspects of the position, to be able to read defenses, know where to go with the ball, know when to bail or to change a play, change protection. When you have that then you can make the 4th quarter drives to win, you can elevate guys around you.
  2. No. Daboll is the guy who tops out as a good coordinator but not a HC.
  3. 1. The NFL should just make a rule that you can't touch the QB. To call that roughing is an insult to football. 2. Josh is a great QB from a physical standpoint. He is not great from an intelligence standpoint. They bait him into that throw he had for a pick, and he does not learn from it. HE does not realize on 3rd and short the play is to get the ball out quick and get the first down. He does not read pre-snap clues as well as he could. It is a credit to his physical talents he is as great as he is, but if he wants to elevate to the greats of history in the NFL his mental game has to progress more. 3. Dorsey needs to be let go. He is not imaginative enough nor does he adapt well to what is going on during the game. 4. The defense hung in as well as could be expected given the injuries. 5. We don't make the playoffs this year in all likelihood, so time to rip off the bandage. Guys that need to be let go include Morse, Brown, Davis, and trade Diggs for picks. Get a new #1 WR in FA or draft. Build around Allen and Kincaid on offense. On defense say good-bye to Miller, Epenesa, Floyd, Poyer, White, maybe Hyde,. Build around Oliver and Bernard. Draft linemen on both sides of the ball and build from inside out.
  4. Whoever recommended the challenge needs to be fired tomorrow
  5. Whoever recommended that challenge should be fired.
  6. Josh needs an OC that’s not afraid to get in his face and demand more.
  7. Wish I could agree. Our D is playing the best it can with so many guys out. But we have no consistency on offense.
  8. Jackson is playing well. Miller’s career is done I’m afraid.
  9. Love Josh. We all love him. But thus far tonight it’s the bad Josh. Can’t win with bad Josh.
  10. Can’t win with Stupid Josh. They bait him into that throw every week.
  11. Quit playing football then. If that’s roughing quit playing football.
  12. I think there’s stats someone posted today suggesting Burrow goes to first read a lot. I’ll be interested to see what McD comes up with.
  13. We’ll see, but I don’t know how anyone could have watched the Fish game and not believe NcD can’t be figure out a way to slow Burrow down.
  14. Why don't you just admit you're not a fan of the team? No fan roots for their team to lose. You can't stand being called out. Why can't you just say I was wrong to root against the team I purport to be a fan of?
  15. People said we had no chance to slow down the Fish either. But we did. No question Sunday night will be a challenge but your continuing obsession with focusing on the negative is telling. Passionate Bills fans don’t want their team to lose if they have under 300 yards passing.
  16. I don't get the hatred not just for Collinsworth but any analyst. People beeyatch about Collinsworth, Romo, Aikman, you name the guy. I watch the first half of most Sunday night games, and Collinsworth is fine. He might say something I disagree with from time to time, but every guy is going to do that. But when people complain he slobbers over guys like Mahomes, what is supposed to say about a guy that might end up the top rated QB in history when he's done?
  17. Bills 27, Bengals 24. People are all up in arms about Borrow and their offense, but we were saying the same about the Fish and McD came up with a scheme to slow them down. Granted we are missing Milano and Jones but I still think we confuse Burrow enough. And many are saying we have to go crazy on offense, but their DC has shown he can slow us down a bit too. I think Josh does some Josh magic and we pull out a close one.
  18. With Milano it depends what he broke. If the fibula he could come back since it isn’t a weight bearing thing. If a tibial fracture then much less likely he can get back this year.
  19. Keep working. His work effort on the field or off is not impressing the team. Time for him to look in the mirror and decide if he wants to be an NFL player.
  20. This thread shows more ignorance than the typical game day thread. I didn’t think that was possible.
