  1. I come out and say it because it seems obvious something is going on. He says he has to be better. Why doubt him when he says that? There is not one member of the team and coaching staff that can say they’re doing their best right now. Everyone needs to step it up. And that includes the guy that plays the most important position. Look at your comments. You are blasting coaches and other players when they make mistakes, but when Josh does he gets a pass. It doesn’t work like that.
  2. I’m going to say this one more time. We all love Josh. But he is not infallible and is not immune from criticism. Just like Mahomes can be criticized if he plays bad. Or Burrows. Or Hurts.. Or Diggs. Or whomever. Does Josh put the team in position to win? Yes. And sometimes, rarely but sometimes, no. Like the Jets game. And the first half to first three quarters of the last three games. It is clear things are not going well on offense. Anyone with a shrewd of objectivity can see that. He is the QB, and as such he has responsibility for some of that. He is a great QB but he is not a saint. Quit making him out as such.
  3. The bad throw on the pick the first drive. Overthrowing Diggs. Missing Davis in the back of the end zone. I don’t get you two. People have acknowledged the defense stunk. People are rightfully critical of Dorsey and McD. But Josh also makes mistakes as good as he is, but you refuse to see it. Why?
  4. Yes the D sucked. Where was the offense the first 3 quarters? The first half the last several games? The offense is not playing well and the QB is a big part of that. We all love Josh but he is not infallible. Do you accept the way the offense has been playing? And again go back and actually read what is written. It is not knee jerk.
  5. I love having Josh as QB. But you can love having the guy and still recognize when there are issues. As for the rest of your nonsense, the greatest Bill in history was either Bruce or OJ (before becoming a degenerate murderer); Josh has a ways to go. You have no idea about Joshvthe person as you’ve never met him, although we all appreciate what he does in the community. And far from being analytical, Josh’s numbers are good, but something is missing. And that is obvious from the last 3 games. Now run along. Again I have criticized the defense thoroughly. Read everything posted before responding with drivel. As for Josh did great in the 4th, but it is a 60 minute game. If we come out and score it takes the Pars out of what they wanted to do.
  6. A DT or CB if we do one. But I don’t think we can trade a bunch of picks, because it is looking like we’ll need them to retool after this year. This season looks like the step backward to take two steps forward. We’ll need good draft picks at WR, O line, and DB/S to replace older guys.
  7. What happened the decades before has no bearing in today. And if you go back and look at my original post you’ll see I am generally optimistic, but that yesterday caused me to evaluate some things. So no I don't come out of the woodwork, no I am not doom and gloom, and yes you just decide to read into things. The Billszare in a bad way right now for multiple reasons, Josh is one of them, and no my single opinion is not going to alienate him.
  8. Sorry but disagree completely. First of all I specifically talked about Dorsey in my post as well as McD and you completely ignore than part. And I’m sorry but Josh is not immune to criticism. He lost the Jets game, said so himself. And when you are as good as he is the offense can’t lay an egg in the first half 3 weeks in a row. That is not just on Dorsey, the guy in the field making decisions where to go with the ball has to shoulder some of that.
  9. There is not one phase of the game that is working right now. Every coach and player needs to look in the mirror and ask what they can do.
  10. Disinterested? Confused? Lethargic? Deflated? Pick a word. But in the losses this year, and in the narrow win last week, can anyone really deny that Allen is not the same Allen we’re used to seeing? We have done nothing in the first half of those games, and Josh just comes to the sidelines and sits there. It’s great he had the 2 TDs in the 4th quarter yesterday and that he then got pumped up. But it’s a 60 minute game. Yes the defense stunk yesterday. Yes Dorsey is getting outcoached. But also yes, our star QB is not the guy we’ve come to know. All these need to get fixed.
  11. It was a team loss, and Josh had a part in it. Start with the D. Albeit missing 4 Pro bowl guys with Oliver out, you simply cannot have Mac Jones look like an All Star. And the last drive was ridiculous. Where is the pride for God sakes? You can’t get a stop there? Now as to offense, Dorsey is not adjusting at all. Defenses know what is going on, and he’s not done much the last three games to challenge that. When you supposedly spend a lot of time during the week scripting plays, figuring out your best calls, and crap the bed like yesterday it is clear you need to wake the hell up. Which brings us to Josh. Where is his head right now? He has way too much talent to play the way he did the first half, then just go to the bench and stare into space. If he does not like the calls, then demand changes or audible. Go back to runs but slide and avoid contact. Do something. But as QB you have to lead, and I don’t see him doing that right now. Bad times at 1BD right now.
  12. I said to my wife he looked disinterested until the fourth quarter. Detached might be a better descriptor. Something is going on with him.
  13. The most concerning thing for me. The announcers talked about how much time the team spent going over what plays to script early on, what plays they really liked and didn’t. And the offense still looked terrible early on. That is not good.
  14. Can we have discussions without this nonsensical “prove me wrong” crap?
  15. I know we’re missing 3 All Pro caliber guys, but that last series was absolutely inexcusable.
  16. Knox leaving was avoidable. As much as we all love Ralph for making Buffalo a major league team he did not spend on coaches and that but him in the ass with Knox. It led to hiring a string of horrible guys that ended when appliances took over. I don’t think we’ll fall apart like the early-mid 80’s because Josh, even though I worry about him, is simply too good for that to happen.
  17. I agree on the defense. That last drive was inexcusable.
  18. I think Father Time has tapped Miller on the shoulder.
  19. But if I recall Allen wanted Dorsey. Which makes it all the more maddening.
  20. But it does matter. It is a 60 minute game and for 45 minutes of it he looked lost. If the players have given up on McD them a change is merited.
  21. Good point. I think they have to move on from Morse this off-season. And I said to my wife at one point that they should bench Dawkins. Hope you’re right.
  22. Where was that the 3.5 quarters prior though?
