  1. I wasn’t comparing the importance of the positions. I was responding to that poster about going with pourer vs going younger and cheaper. You want the best guys on the field to help you win a super bowl. I seriously doubt a replacement would actually be better than poyer, so you go with the best guy. he uses poyers age and acts like he’s going to crash next year. What about Rodgers? The guy who said he was 90% ready to retire before he went on his dark retreat. Won’t he break down? Will he play more than a year of the season doesn’t go as hoped? What has he accomplished in the playoffs in the last few years? I’m not saying it’s a bad idea to get rodgers, but if he doesn’t win a super bowl, it’s a complete waste of time and resources. I just found it odd that airseven thinks the rodgers trade is a slam dunk, but bringing power back is the ultimate sin.
  2. Snorting or orally?
  3. Yet you think it’s an amazing idea that the jets are renting rodgers for a year or two? If they don’t win the super bowl, it’s still a complete waste of time.
  4. Great. Now I want to do drugs.
  5. Fair enough, but you know it would be very, very hard to stop watching. This team certainly isn’t perfect, but it’s been much more enjoyable over the last few years. That doesn’t mean I and others are satisfied with the final results, but I at least enjoy winning the majority of Sundays.
  6. not having a roof over the stadium sucks, but it doesn't destroy my enjoyment of the game. i go the the game, drink a few beers, enjoy watching a sport live, and go home. i enjoy all of it because that's what it's meant for. i don't care if someone doesn't have a place to take their kid at the stadium...i'm there for the game. if it bothers you guess what? you have an option not to go. just watch on tv. i don't know what special kind of experience you need, but i'm there to watch football. no you won't be. you'll be back on here hoping for a super bowl the next year. you'll tell everyone how you don't accept losing, and a few minutes later you'll be ordering your new bills hoodie online.
  7. again...come on with this stuff. people here B word, and their excuse is they just don't accept mediocrity! you have no control over the bills. the only control we have is whether or not we support the product. so, according to you, you'll continue to watch the bills and accept mediocrity. the only way to accept it is apparently not to watch...right? otherwise you're just a guy on a message board letting people know he doesn't accept second place. ummm...who wants this? the difference in opinions are great. that's not what i'm talking about and i think you know that.
  8. come on iron...these guys aren't being paid to lose. they get paid to play football, and you want the result to be wins. unfortunately it doesn't always work that way. that being said...the bills are winning. they're winning more than we've seen in years. i know it obviously isn't the same as winning a super bowl, but if this team can stay competitive and get into the playoffs every years, the chance for that super bowl win presents itself, and that's what i hope for during the season. i don't know why people are treating this team like the teams during the drought. this is a good team, and we're just going to have to see how this plays out.
  9. i'm right there with you. i'm 45 and i'm not bitter about this at all. it's a ***** game that we have zero control over it. do i want to see a super bowl win like everyone else? of course, but i'm certainly not going to come on here every day for the sake of venting my anger that just boils away at me. if this team bothered me that much, i'd just move on. it's a game...for fun and entertainment. that's it. i think some people attach their self worth to their team/fandom.
  10. If the only thing the jets have is a winning season, it’s a failure IMO.
  11. It’s not an issue. At all. It’s him.
  12. Anger incoming!!!!
  13. what? the jets are renting a qb for a year or two. who know if he'll mesh. who knows if he'll adapt well to being in ny...the media, the fans, his team may grow tired of him, etc. just having him makes them better, but it's completely in theory for now. i have no idea about the safe stuff. are you implying they're saying the media is saying the bills will be better than the jets, (assuming rodgers signs) until rodgers actually signs the paper? they know he's going to ny, and that comment was made directed at that.
  14. oh....ok! jackass.
  15. not at all. they'll be much better, but even yesterday analysists on sirius nfl made the comment that the bills will still be the team to beat in the east. it's a much closer conversation though.
