if i'm not mistaken, they were trying to brand the entire SUNY system, and not just buffalo. something about galisano willing to give over a large sum to the university programs, and part of that was the name change from SUNY to something involving New York. the state didn't like it and that was the end of that. i don't find that to be the case. i see bills gear everywhere...especially during the season. years ago you would notice a lot of pats gear when they were on top. it seem to be a certain age group who are now in their mid-30. they great up watching the dominant team and became fans. there's nothing worse than a pats fan from wny.

this is where i'm at. what's weird is my wife refuses my help whenever i ask. i've never ruined anything, but she's so protective of those machines. i thought it might be because i'm a lousy folder, so i bought on of those plastic boards to help. you'd think she's be pumped, but she made fun of me saying that's what they use for the autistic and special needs kids in her school to teach them life skills.

oh yeah. i suppose if you live in nyc, everything is considered upstate, but at minimum it's western ny. definitely not central. it's been wester ny for a very long time. when i was in college in the 90s, i always had to explain i was from wny, because otherwise everyone thinks you're from nyc. concerning being labeled as the "fingerlakes region", i only became aware of it during the pandemic. they broke the state down further, and we're now the finger lakes. i prefer it as it really is more accurate. it take me 90 minutes to get to buffalo, but i can get in my car now and drive to canandaigua lake in about 15-20 minutes.

technically we're considered the finger lakes region now if i'm not mistaken. buffalo is western, rochester in finger lakes, syracue in central, and albany in capital or upstate. i think that's the break down now, but someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

i have a feeling this was more than on split second, but who knows.

i'm sure the guys troubles extended far beyond social media. you have to be in an incredibly bad place to do something like this.
