  1. are you kidding me? there will always be those one or two people, but i think overall most fans held it in the same regard. do you realize that you're the same, over the top, zealous poster, but just on the negative side? while "fanboys" as you like to call them can't/won't admit any wrong doing by this staff, we have you who refuses to acknowledge any positive that has happened. you don't even realize it, but you're just as bad as they are. you love to be down. it's who you are as a person, and that's ok. i personally don't get it, but it's certainly your right. let's try something...i'd like you to say something positive about this team or staff.
  2. it's amazing how some fans are already trying to discount the playoff berth. of course the bills needed help to get in, but who cares? it was still the playoffs for the first time in forever, and some fans just want to tear it down. why? was it not as special or fun for them? i'm not a fan of that mentality.
  3. thank you for the kind words, and i think your second paragraph really nails it. we are in the zone of the unexpected as fans right now. there's so many new pieces with new systems, that coming up with a hard prediction this year is tough. i certainly don't expect the bills to go to the playoffs, but i also don't think this year is a disaster. it's a learning year, and any positive that comes from it is a bonus. the unexpected is fun for me because may lead to success. life is hard enough with work, kids, sick family, etc. football has always been fun for me, whether it be playing or watching. i'm not about to change that to shield disappointment from a less than average season.
  4. it's amazing how some have to protect their own feelings. it's a game. i watch it for entertainment. i'm choosing to be optimistic because of a new staff and a new qb. it's fun for me this way. if this implodes and all goes to hell, so be it. i'm here for the ride.
  5. this thread is just strange. i don't think i saw any poster go over the top positive after the first preseason game. why in the world would anyone? if anything, i think people saw an offense that looked somewhat effective, and we saw a rookie qb, who many are expecting to be garbage, look fairly competent with some flashes of wow. that's it. i'm with the crowd that preseason means absolutely nothing, but as mentioned, when the bills offense has looked terrible in the preseason, it looks the same at the beginning of that season. when it has looked competent, that's also carried over. seeing a good performance in a preseason game isn't a predictor, but it's better to see than a train wreck. the same people who are complaining about optimism are the same ones who would be gloating after a terrible performance.
  6. this sounds kinda rapey. have you ever actually had consensual sex?
  7. how dare you mention amy pohler and completely leave out the likes of chris o'donnell and clinton kelly. this conversation is over.
  8. i'm inches away from starting a matt milano thread. did i ever let you know i went to bc?
  9. no one gets more upset about bills fans being optimistic! am i right?!
  10. it really did go south quickly after that.
  11. i'm sure it's been said, but he just seems like a guy who is trying to drum up more interest in himself. i get it. it always seem to be the case where when guys who speak the loudest have a bad game, they're the first ones to act like little bitches afterward. he strikes me as this kind of guy.
  12. why do i always have to be hairy? i mean...i have a fantastic head of hair for a guy my age, but i'm not ape like. well...my legs are ape like, but that's it.
  13. why couldn't it have been royal?
  14. my pool is getting ready to flood. other than that, i'm golden.
  15. she's married to my dad, but you'd have to ask her if she's happily married. i bet he can...
  16. i already have things going on that day.
  17. that's exactly what i said. i had to drive around in a hand me down buick station wagon. they could have hooked me up with a sweet car with a stick. it's completely on them.
  18. that makes me feel somewhat better. I've never had a car with a stick, so just never learned. I think my mom's specific comment was something like, "how does a man your age not know how to drive a stick?".
  19. i've never driven a stick shift. have zero idea how to. my mom made fun of me for this recently. i'm also in the no social media/no tattoos club, but i wanted to switch it up a bit.
  20. i think the new stadium should have a revolving field. this way everyone can have a decent view at some point in the game.
