  1. i'm with you on this. the woman who was kicked out of radio city was taking her daughter and her girl scout troop to the show. they allowed the daughter to day, but the mom was out. that must be a tough moment to sort out.
  2. agreed. to piggyback off of these comments is the wegmans story. I became aware of the wegmans facial recognition during a conversation on the radio. a caller explained that he was banned from the store for seating an excessive amount of meat, steak, etc. during covid, he decided to run in with a mask on just to grab a few things for convenience. within minutes of being in the store, they walked his ass right out. even with the mask, he was quickly identified.
  3. i've heard that even wegmans has been doing this for years. within the last couple of years, a woman was kicked out of a radio city music hall christmas concert because facial recognition picked her up as someone that worked for the law firm that was suing the company that owned radio city.
  4. i'd say even once a year during the summer we hear the start of one in the darien center area, but that was typically the extent of it.

    Catan

would those games take weeks to finish?!
  6. were you in the farmington/canandaigua pocket. i know a number of people who had older roofs were are getting new ones through insurance. at least there's that. i just heard from my collision shop. they've decided just to replace panels instead of trying to get the dents out. this is going to take time.
  7. we had multiple days in the 70s this february, and now tornadoes. it's not just wny. some have hit down in the finger lakes, thousand islands and rome. My car is still in the shop when we were pelted by gold ball size hail a couple of weeks ago. all the car in my lot were beat up, and a few of the staff had to total their cars. it's been so strange.

i had never even heard of it until a year or two ago when the guys on the bills were talking about it. then i saw it was inducted into the toy hall of fame. no idea how we missed considering we were big board game people. we played a ton of risk.
  9. it's really not an entire day. the practice is from 9:45 to 11:45, and we get there around 9. i think the people that get the most out of camp are the adults that get there early to get seats in the stands. we never even bother to try. my kids do like to go on the opposite side of the field where they can sit up against a fence and watch. they can see the players clearly and there's enough rotation to make it interesting. towards the end of it they've definitely had enough. staring at random men's junk is just a bonus for me.
  10. this is pretty much what camp is for us too. we're going on thursday with the kids, and i'm sure it will consist of eating junk, watching random guys practice up close, getting some merch, then complaining that it's too hot. throw on the $25 it costs to park across the street, and it's the perfect day.
  11. i don't like it if one of the poors touches me.
  12. According to my taxes, I make $72 dollars a year. I have the same accountant as Bill Romanowski.
  13. I’m sending a bill for the extra $25. You send me a unsigned check one more time…
  14. my drinking is really when we go out to dinner. my move is that i usually have a mixed drink when i get there, and a glass of wine at dinner. Anything beyond that and i'm not driving. i just uber at this point now. in some of the local areas, it's easier to uber than it is to park.
  15. yup. i park at the same place every year. it goes up a bit each year, so i think you're right at the $25 mark.
  16. bro...you better get ready to roll.
  17. oh i agree. she had a mixture of something in her.
  18. i didn't watch the videos until i heard how she was. this is a bad one.
  19. she was drunk and just checked herself into rehab.
  20. I put in for the lottery but haven’t heard a peep. The only reason I get to go every year is because I’ve been lucky and get invited to the corporate events. I really don’t know how I’d get in otherwise.
  21. you needed to tell me that about a decade ago.
  22. i remember seeing this movie. i was a high school senior in 95, so it was about the same generation. we had to go to the little theater, (the smaller, artsy theater) because it wasn't mainstream enough for the bigger theaters. i did like the movie, but all i remember thinking was how ***** bad these kids were. i get being raised in a city must have its pitfalls, but get your ***** together.
  23. i'm seconds away from posting pictures of my junk.
