  1. Thanks for everything SDS.
  2. This is exactly what I was thinking too. They've been so linked to Mayfield for so long now. I even read that their OC is already starting to install plays from Oklahoma in his playbook for Mayfield (who knows if it's true though). Its just strange that all the sudden starting the day before the draft all this stuff starts coming out about how they want Rosen. You pretty much hadn't heard him connected to the Jets at all until yesterday. Well, at least this is what I'm telling myself so I don't freak out any more than I already am... lol.
  3. I definitely have a ton more confidence and faith in this current staff than I've had in a long, long time. But im still sweating bullets about the first round of the draft tonight, because the Bills can only control so much, and sitting at 12 isn't the ideal spot to get one of the QBs all of us want so desperately. I am am confident that everything will work out in the long run though, no matter what happens tonight.
  4. I hope he's right about the trade up. Just not for Allen, who he said earlier this offseason (IIRC) that he would target if he were the Bills
  5. I don't really see these tweets as an issue. Still dont want him, unless the other top 3 are gone and we can get him at 12. But that has everything to do with his play on the field and nothing to do with the tweets.
  6. Yesterday they were making a late push for Rosen... I think they may just be trying to throw teams off their scent (Mayfield). id be thrilled if the Jets actually took Allen though! lol
  7. I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but I will absolutely think that he just took a huge gamble. The way I feel is if he trades up for a guy like Darnold or Rosen and they bust, you can much more easily justify the risk Beane took because they are the top rated QBs and their play on the field (+ their stats) backs that up. Allen is a much bigger risk. There really is no precedent for taking a QB with Allen's underlying stats in the top 5. If Beane trades up for Allen and he busts, it should put his job in jeopardy. Where as if he trade up for Darnold/Rosen and they don't work out, I think he deserve another swing. Just my opinion anyway.
  8. Just like Beane said yesterday that he is planning on picking at #12. No way a smart smart coach or GM is going to give away any bit of leverage by saying "yeah we want/expect to trade down/up". Why would they say that and tip their hand? This is a giant poker game. If the Giants want to trade down, they want to get as much h as possible, and the way to do that is to make the other team think you are staying put, in order to get them to up the offer.
  9. I don't buy that the Bills have josh Allen ahead of josh Rosen. Too much stuff points to Rosen over Allen imo. I think allen is their #3 or #4 QB behind at least Darnold and Rosen.
  10. Amerks swept in 3 games. Really feel for Ullmark.
  11. I hear you on that. I severely injured my knee years ago. Comp, etely tore my ACL and MCL. I also tore a large chunk out of my meniscus (which is basically what separates the knee bones) and chipped a piece of bone off. I was was supposed to have surgery to correct it but a whole bunch of stuff happened and I never got the surgery. Needless to say my knee has never been the same and any type of strenuous physical activity causes quite a bit of pain.
  12. Great free article on the Buffalo News about Rosen and Buffalo. I thought this was already posted but I couldn't find the thread, so I figured I'd just put it here - http://buffalonews.com/2018/04/25/josh-rosen-would-love-to-be-in-buffalo-after-great-visit-with-bills/ I want this kid in a Bills jersey SO BAD! lol
  13. This is my biggest fear right here. I am going to be so damn nervous tomorrow. Actually, I already am.
  14. Mine too. That is my nightmare scenario. You may find me crying in the corner if that happens... ? lol
  15. This is my biggest fear as well. I just keep hoping beyond hope that his personality and/or political views will scare them off (with Woody being a Trump ambassador and neighbor of his). It seems kind of unlikely to me that something like this (politics) would stop them from picking him, but I can hope... It would be a personal nightmare of mine to see Rosen with the NYJ. But as as long as the Bills end up with Darnold or Rosen I don't care what any other team does! Ugh I am going to be such a nervous wreck tomorrow. I wish Buffalo could get to #2 so we didn't have to worry about the Jets.
  16. I am pretty damn sure that the Patriots won't be trading to the top of the draft for a QB. I'd actually be willing to bet money on it. Too much stuff doesn't add up. - First, take a look at their pre draft visits tracker - https://www.patspulpit.com/2018/3/1/17068832/2018-nfl-combine-new-england-patriots-interview-tracker-bill-belichick-draft They haven't even met with, worked out, or had pre draft visits with any of the top 4 QBs - Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield, Allen. But they have met with and/or worked out a bunch of the 2nd tier guys - Rudolph, Jackson, Lauretta, White, Falk, McGouch, Kanoff. - second, it just doesn't make sense to trade way up for a QB with Brady on the roster right now. He is likely to play for at least 2-3 more years, maybe more. So you trade up to the top of the draft, where the player contracts are quite a bit more expensive, just to have that guy sit on the bench for most (if not all) of his rookie deal? Plus, if it's true Brady was threatened by Garoppolo, how would he feel if the Pats traded away numerous 1st round picks for a QB to sit behind him, instead of using those picks to surround him with talent in his final few seasons? I think the Pats will definitely draft a QB. But I think it will be for one of the 2nd tier guys to develop. They have that luxury. At the very most, I could see a very slight trade up (to #18 maybe? Seahawks said they'd trade at a discount to get day 2 picks) for a guy like Rudolph.
  17. Plus the stuff that came out today about the Bills not moving up for Allen. That, and guys like Benjamin Albright saying that the Bills are telling people they like/want Allen... that's just not Beane's MO. He said he hasn't even told his wife who he wants. So if thr Allen stuff is a smoke screen, and both Darnold and Mayfield are projected to be gone by pick #3, that leave Rosen. Lots of little clues that he may be the guy they want IMO.
  18. IMO this could possibly hint at Rosen. He's the only QB of the top 3 that has bene talked about possibly slipping out of the top 5. Between that, Yolo's comments about the Pegulas loving him, Beane's comments about pocket passers, the stuff that came out today about not moving up for Allen etc. I am really starting to think that Rosen very well could be our pick. It's getting me excited! But I don't want to get my hopes up too high, or get too set on any 1 QB since we have no clue what will happen. Another team could mortgage 2 drafts to move up to #2 or #4 and Beane probably won't be willing to match.
  19. If this is true, it screams Rosen. He is the only 1 of the big 3 that has been talked about as possibly slipping out of the top 5 on draft night.
  20. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000928435/article/john-dorsey-no-legit-trade-offers-for-browns-top-pick
  21. I just pray that one of Rosen or Darnold slip past the NYJ at 3, because then all bets are off. I truly believe the Bills will do what they need to, to land one of those 2 QBs if they are on the board after #3.
  22. I just hope the Browns don't go with Mayfield (if it's true that's who the Jets want). I just worry that if the Browns go Mayfield, the Giants go with Darnold and the Jets take Rosen. Then we are kinda screwed. I desperately want one one of Darnold or Rosen.
