The eagles before drafting Donovan McNabb only made it past the divisional war round once in their entire history McNabb helped lead them to a super bowl and four straight NFC championship games... Led the NFL in total offense per game twice Led the NFL in total touchdowns per game once Had the best interception percentage in a season in NFL history before it was broken in the modern era... Has 37,000 yards and 240 touchdowns... Fifth most rushing yards all time by quarterback Anybody who is trashing those numbers probably think a football is stuffed with feathers It always takes two to tango so I don't want to hear about Andy Reid... Donovan McNabb was really good He might not be the best... He certainly was towards the top when he was healthy
-
He also got Allen on a team went to the playoffs once in 17 years prior... The organization was a mess from top down The Chiefs organization has always been considered very well run... They were going to the playoffs before us because they had a roster built for it Sean McDermott gutted our roster the first year and rebuilt it from the bottom up and has turned us into an NFL contender year in and year out Point stands Donovan McNabb has always been really good... Again does this board only think you're good if you're a Hall of famer? He certainly is one of the best quarterbacks ever not in the Hall of Fame and I would take him over Eli Manning who somebody else's arguing for lol Nobody would say he is Point stands... He's a good enough quarterback to win a super bowl... And Andy Reid couldn't with him He needed somebody that they call baby goat .. an anointed football player He couldn't win with really good We we're winning at halftime LOL You can count on one hand the amount of times Josh's lost by double digits in the last 3 years on one hand hahahaha And the point of the matter is we didn't lose by double digits we lost by three
-
We aren't far from beating them in the playoffs lol We went to Arrowhead where we were winning with 13 seconds left.. and the team collapsed.. that's as close as you can be to winning Last year Tyler bass was taking a field goal to tie the game with 2 minutes left... Again super close We were not far... That's literally one or two plays from winning
-
He did go on the injury report for a back injury the week after getting suplexed
-
He entered the league before Alex Smith and rivers and Stafford and Rodgers lol you can murder quarterbacks in 1999 and 2000 and 2001 and 2002 and 2003 You're literally just grabbing a couple of people... And thinking every quarterback plays great til they are 37 lol Jim Kelly is a Hall of famer and fell off of a cliff at 34... Donovan McNabb was really good no matter what you think... There's a reason he's on the Hall of Fame ballot every year as a nominee You have the opinion that obviously if you're not a top five All pro you suck.. because you can't say 230 touchdowns... 37,000 yards.. led the league in yards twice.. let the league in interception percentage... First quarterback ever with 30 touchdowns and less than 10 interceptions in a season Philadelphia eagles leader in passing yards and touchdowns... Fifth all time in rushing yards for a quarterback I could keep going on he was really good
-
Umm unless your name is Tom Brady plenty of quarterbacks fall off at 33 or 34 lmao especially back in the day when you are allowed to punish quarterbacks Including our own Jim Kelly Donovan McNabb was really f****** good... 35,000 yards , 230 touchdowns Strong , mobile.. and a winner... This is Ludacris that people try to downplay Donovan McNabb
-
Reid had Donovan McNabb who was a pro bowl quarterback and has been nominated for the hof... Easily good enough to win a super bowl.. better than Nick foles who won for the eagles Might not be a top 15 quarterback of all time Donovan McNabb was really f****** good... Would have easily been in the top two quarterbacks in Buffalo history in 60 years We're talking about a top pick who is mobile strong Cannon and a winner... He is one of the most underrated quarterbacks
-
People said the same thing about Andy Reid in Philadelphia LOL and he's not a different coach Sometimes it takes years and years to build the team... Andy Reid has had 11 years building his team in Kansas City.. Sean McDermott has had 7 years Andy Reid went to a franchise that was actually good in the 5 or 10 years prior at points.. McDermott took over a team that won 17 years with no postseason Worst drought in sports Patrick mahomes worst record against any franchise is the Buffalo Bills We certainly can beat them anytime any day it just hasn't felt that way.. like wide right or 13 seconds We're not far away from beating them and we absolutely can win super bowls

You do realize he was suplexed... Went on the injury report for a back injury Everybody knows back injuries don't clear up in one week He spent the last lots of weeks of the season hobbled... I'm over it he's not a part of the team... I wish him best But he clearly was physically hobbled... Playing through pain
-
Sup bro lol
-
AJ McCarron is a low end number two... He's basically a number three And most teams don't keep three quarterbacks... He certainly is not at the top of backups
-
When I still go to the tralf, to listen to music... Which is the great venue connected to Sheas I still go right to the ticket counter to purchase tickets and avoid fees I think you could still go up to the ticket counter at the Bills stadium and buy tickets too
-
Since Buffalo is right on the Canadian border.. and lots of us grew up around Canadian hockey players... Some of us picked up Canadian lingo I grew up saying bud or buddy lol Like if I call my friend I still say what's up bud
-
KC also has been trying to replace all pro Tyreek Hill... Leaving them to use more draft capital We've had Superstar Stephon diggs here... With a WR who just got 13 million a year... We were able to spend our assets elsewhere.. Kansas City had mvs as a starter... he's now battling for a roster spot in Buffalo
-
Mason Crosby been on the decline when he got there .. he was an old kicker passed his prime and had rough years in his past You're not answering my point... Cleveland's kicker said he's terrific... Nobody goes from bum to terrific in a year or two His holding struggles were overblown... He wasn't re signed because he called his own fake field goal and shank 22 yarders No punter has ever been cut because of his holding skills... Because even the worst ones get it right the majority he had eight bad holds.. out of hundreds lol it's not rocket science... It's the easiest job for a pro athlete And Mason Crosby fell off

Caleb Williams is off to a rough rookie start
Buffalo716 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course and I'm usually very against them I was not high on Justin fields, I was not high on Bryce Young But I saw Caleb Williams in high school... I saw him live at Oklahoma and at USC .. I've been watching him play since he was in high school And his talent has me sold... The only scary thing is going to the bears who haven't developed a quarterback they've drafted in 50 years But he's one of the more polished quarterbacks I've seen in 15 years -
Listen I'm not making excuses for bass... I'm just saying how tough it is to kick in Buffalo as your home stadium I have lost faith in him... But he could have had an injury that affected him I don't even think he has a full season... If he starts with The yips they're going to go to somebody else... But I hope he gets it together
-
Listen I don't think bass should be cozy.. he definitely needs to pick it up fast But kicking at Ralph Wilson stadium is the hardest kicker job in the world.. statistically it is the hardest stadium to kick in You can't just plug in any old kicker... They need a certain skill set.. a plus plus leg It's not like kicking in Indianapolis or Dallas They need to cut through the heaviest wind in the NFL
-
Listen kicking in Buffalo is not easy.. it's the hardest professional stadium to kick in statistically That means the Buffalo kicker.. needs a plus plus leg... With plus accuracy... And can kick with wind in his face or cross... It's the windiest stadium in the league... With consistently some of the worst weather It's not easy... I'm not giving Tyler bass a pass... He's paid to make the kicks But it's not like kicking in Indianapolis... Tyler bass already has a natural fade in his kicking motion... His ball moves left to right.. which is why he lines up on the left hash mark for Pat's He's never been great on the right hash mark which is where he took the kick from versus the Chiefs... He needs to improve from the right hash mark And cut down on the fade a bit
-
Probably has a nice roll too 😀
-
Because the league consensus is that Sam Martin was a much better holder than Corey b And his holding struggles were overblown... He wasn't re signed because he would call his own fake field goal And then shank off 21 yard punt ... When Sam Martin was signed here our front office talked about his ability to hold lol which is funny... Because I want to hear about my punters ability to boom off 70 yard punts with hang time
-
I can't believe, this journeyman punter with a noodle leg , for NFL standards Gets this much attention Holding is one of the most overblown aspects that this board cares about lol Yeah it's important but the skill to learn it is vastly overrated and people here think it's challenging... People said Corey b sucked at holding... I went through every single hold over his multiple years here and he didn't have laces in more than eight times... Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of holds eight times laces were in... I haven't gone through Sam Martin's.. but I can guarantee you he did not have laces in more than a few times... And it doesn't even impact the kick much It messes up the kicker's mind... Which shows they are the feeble one Corey b went to the browns and their kicker says he's the best holder he ever had.. but he was trash according to this board See how easy it is to learn to hold? You can go from trash to the best a kickers ever had fairly quick Any athlete can learn the skill and it's not tough... There's never been a punter who is cut because of his holding skills LOL they cut you for shanking 12-yard punts
