Greg Rousseau Extended (4 years / 80M / 54M Guaranteed)
Buffalo716 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
We're not losing 35 to 13 and need to upgrade the offense.. if we hold the Chiefs to 28 we're going to the super bowl We scored enough to win a playoff game our defense needs a little bit more horses... And the s******* on McDermott and his scheme is getting old because he is one of the best defensive minds in football We don't have enough around him.. and for all the talk about him we've had a bunch of top five and seven defenses that he built with other teams castaways and mid round picks -

A wide receiver isn't winning us a super bowl.. we literally just had the highest scoring offense in bills history We couldn't stop a nosebleed when it mattered... Everybody wants the best players in every position, wide receiver is not our most crucial need.. Tom Brady won five super bowls with nothing special at wide receiver We have enough pass catchers with Josh Allen to get it done.. we have a good enough offensive line... What we don't have is the ability to stop another good quarterback consistently and losing two of our better starters on defense would only put us further down the hole -
Josh Allen gets record contract extension $330 million

I've posted decade Long NFL studies that show there is no correlation between running quarterbacks and injuries In fact statistically most quarterbacks get hurt inside the pocket ... The percentage of injuries in Josh Allen's running group.. versus the percentage of injuries in Tom Brady's statue group is less than 1% In fact it's the tweeners who can't decide if they want to be pocket passers or improvisers who get hurt the most... Josh like Brett favre knows how to improvise and stay safe -

Think we disagree about DK being great.. he is what he is.. a physical specimen who has never refined his route running .. you also act like there's never been a bad contract handed out in the NFL He's not in all pro he's not a Hall of famer I remember this board was furious about who our middle linebacker would be when Tremaine Edmonds got his big deal to Chicago.. two games in with Bernard and this entire board was singing hallelujah People get caught up in the last game... Bernard and Roussesu could start on 20 plus NFL teams so they have value.. Pittsburgh just did something called desperation I literally think Greg and DK are in the same tier of NFL players with different positions.. above average occasionally great with holes in their games right now.. but DK has had more time to correct his and hasn't -

Ofc he is But he's not relying on athleticism like RG3 ... He has great pocket presence and throws darts from the pocket.. his athleticism is an added boost to making him the best football player ever He can still maneuver around the pocket and throw darts for years even past his prime -

DK isn't Jerry Rice or Calvin Johnson or Randy Moss He's a jacked 1 trick pony .. he's not a Hall of famer he's not an all pro... We're getting two really good football players back instead of one good football player DK has limitations so does Greg and so does Bernard... But 2 is always better than 1... The whole goal is to keep as much talent while adding in more -

I can't tell if you're serious or not but Josh literally hurdles two guys a season he's not doing it every week lol He had 102 Rushing attempts... About 45 of them were tush pushes That leaves about 60 rushing attempts in 16 games... At this point he leaves the pocket to throw not even to run mostly He'd rather be like Aaron Rodgers or favre in his prime and scramble behind the line of scrimmage to throw.. and he'll have enough juice to run away from defensive lineman for a while -

I would rather have those 2 than just Metcalf without a doubt -

Allen has supreme athleticism but don't act like he hasn't gotten command inside the pocket and continuously gets better John elway played good past 35 so can Josh Allen with modern medicine -

That's not a good argument.. guys like Josh Gordon went for 1700 yards with skeletons at quarterbacks in Cleveland These are still NFL quarterbacks.. and the best wide receivers get forced fed.. he gets 120 targets a year ... He is what he is a good receiver with great athleticism and limited route tree -

What's with this attitude lol Josh Allen has always wanted to retire a Buffalo Bill and will retire a Buffalo Bill We're better than 29 teams across the league The last 5 years he's not trying to run himself out of town Jesus Christ -

Anybody who seriously thought Josh would leave us to California should be suspended from the board LOL Like that's a symptom of thinking we can't have nice things in Buffalo -

I think the Mannings as a family value get valuable college experience I think he stays for 2 years to get 20 plus starts -
I come here as a Bills fan because they are my childhood.. I'm also here as a football scout with 30 years of experience in the industry with insider and firsthand experience I post things here that get reported on the next day.. I am in touch with scouting across the country and I push UB as a program because they deserve it There will be 15 scouts to watch dolac at the pro day just for him It's a terrible snub.. if he had BC next to his name hes at the combine

A not great (for Bills) mock draft. What would you do different?!

3 cone is a better judge of pure pass rushing talent with tape compared to 40 -

Arch Manning's not leaving after this season -
We are in the best spot along the offensive line we have been in a long long time There's a reason we let the NFL in six offensive lineman packages last year by a wide margin Our team came to the conclusion.. and Anderson's tape shows... That he was an asset on the field last year so they tried to get him on
-
He has every trait you look for in a good NFL center He's long, athletic, been groomed along the offensive line for years.. so he wasn't thrown to the fire and got to grow his technique with his athleticism And he is nasty nasty nasty.. like he buries defensive lineman and plays through the whistle
-
He was our sixth lineman last year plays aggressive and well Been in the system for years.. is longer and getting better I wouldn't doubt if he's fighting for a starting guard position and is in line to get paid a decent contract Played 25% of the snaps last year I think he can push Edwards
-
I don't even think svgp will get first crack at center if it opens up Alec Anderson would , he's been groomed everywhere

Excited for the season!

Thoughts about older draft eligible players?
Buffalo716 replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've been tracking breakout age for over a decade Jayden Daniels while being an old college player.. by the metrics his breakout age was 2019 his freshman season at 19 Over 240 ypg... A 7-1 touchdown to interception ratio.. 150 rating with 300 rushing yards That's hitting breakout metrics as a freshman Joe burrow didn't hit his breakout metrics till he was 22 -
Players the Bills have met with at Combine
Buffalo716 replied to gonzo1105's topic in The Stadium Wall
Burden has a lot more savvyness and creativity in his route running Burden was the highest recruit ever in the history of Missouri tiger football.. they literally pigeon hold him into get the ball into his hands guy Because he was the best athlete and player on the team.. they didn't let him showcase his full ability ... And they don't have a quarterback who consistently can get him the ball down field... Cook is physically impressive but inconsistent He's one of those guys who's going to be a better pro than college player because he's a good fit for the NFL... Shenault, and I have receipts here.. never liked him at all, I thought he purely was a gadget guy I don't see the comparison besides how Missouri used burden.. but that's on the school not the player.. shenault that was his game I think burden has a lot more to his game that just hasn't been put on tape because Missouri limited offense and Cook didn't take another step He is a better route runner than given credit for and he can win against press or off coverage... He also plays bigger than his size , and the biggest thing he tracks the ball fluidly downfield... That's the key he tracks the football extremely well
