  1. The only accountability for last season better not only fall on this safety’s coach. The guy’s responsibility is a drop in the bucket. Come on. Do better with this defense
  2. I don’t have an issue with him being tall. He’s super physical and athletic. I want the tone set in the interior
  3. It’s not even about money at this stage for me. I just flat out don’t even want him back. I want a new downhill physical LB that plays fast with instincts and tackling ability. Edmunds always looks like he’s thinking first, then moving. I want a guy that just plays fast football and just transforms our Defense into a physically imposing unit. Draft a guy in round 1 or 2 and just let Edmunds go learn somewhere else.
  4. This probably isn’t the place to ask this but before we move on from Brown, can we try him at guard? I feel like this guy might be a monster in that tight space
  5. Everyone’s new thing was Beane only drafted 1 pro bowler besides Allen. Then you make fun of the guys that get chosen for the game. Which one is it here? Is it a big deal that we aren’t drafting pro bowlers or is the thing a joke anyway and not a good interpretation of who the good players really are?
  6. The acceptance of the interpretation of this rule is insane. When you see 0, turn your head then see if the ball gets snapped? How is that ok? When it’s 0, it’s s penalty. It’s that simple. It could take a ref any amount of time to look after they see 0. Then whenever they call it is on them basically. The clock is there to count down. When it’s 0, should be a buzzer just like shot clock violation. Not when it’s 0, the ref will then decide how long after to react. Dafuk is that even tolerated
  7. Using that many guys and constantly using all of those guys is very different. I’m not wrong and I’m not going to say I am. We rotate too much. There’s a ton of grey area between using a guy a handful of snaps for a rest and using pre determined entire until rotations regularly. I don’t even know how to find stats that would show all of it all I can find is this from 21. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2021/12/04/next-gen-stats-buffalo-bills-rotate-defensive-line-sean-mcdermott/ at that point we had 5 games ourselves of that type of rotation and the rest of the 31 teams in the nfl had a total of 3. Using 8 guys isn’t the same as giving 8 or 9 games almost equal playing time
  8. We rotate more than anyone. Our good Dlinemen barely even play half the game. It’s too much. You want to give a guy I breath here and there, fine. But not entire drives of full line rotation constantly. It’s incredible we won’t put a 3rd LB in obvious run situations and will just let teams run it down our throat in nickel no matter what but we will rotate the Dline no matter what
  9. Our problem is philosophical and not personnel related on defense. If that doesn’t chance, it won’t even matter. Guys just falling back giving accurate QBs all day to hit simple throws. It sounds even more ridiculous every time I say it. Hoping a QB gets bored taking easy throws….this is a grown adults mindset
  10. I’m good with White and Elam. I think you just figure very soon, if not now…Elam becomes the 1 and White is the 2
  11. This is one of the worst games by the refs I have seen all year. Just walk to the board and start changing it at this point.
  12. Maybe I moss understand the definition of the rule, but Is it not that dressing a 3rd QB doesn’t count against the game day active and it actually gives you 1 extra guy anyway? Essentially that the 3rd QB is a free active roster spot regardless? Not having a 3rd QB dressed is insane to me. You are 2 plays away from having a RB playing QB in a playoff game. Teams are to cute for their own good
  13. 3 super physical, town setting, aggressive powerhouse defensive philosophies in the division. And here we come with the drop back and ***** shell that was horrible In Minnesota. Just wasting Josh’s prime
  14. A senseless rotation that no other team finds necessary. We don’t even get any pressure using it. Put the good players on the field as much as possible. I don’t need fresh legs on backups. I need my good guys on the field
  15. Look at the energy and aggression that the Eagles Defense plays with. I want a defense that goes towards the offense, not one that back pedals on skates hoping you get bored and become disinterested with easy 6 yard plays. The attitude o and philosophy of Fraizer is so pathetic it’s maddening
  16. Inexcusable STs obsession
  17. Me and that guy would go at it hard over Fitz. And then EJ. I loved Fitz, especially when he was the backup in 09 and hated that we wasted that year with Edwards at all. Then I wanted Fitz to come back for camp in 13 to give EJ some legitimate competition. Man I hated EJ. We were a horrible football team lol
  18. We got immensely better on defense when Rex was replaced. I suppose that doesn’t help my anti Fraizer argument. Also when Schwartz took over we got much better. It’s not a big deal. It can help immediately
  19. It was truly insane how 1 day it was just gone. I kept expecting it to just be a site maintenance thing and it would just load back up. It was a period of confusion and denial then you were just marooned into the abyss
  20. Just no. Fix the defense. It’s a philosophy that’s broken. There are no rules saying if you have a good QB that your defense isn’t allowed to be good
  21. I’d be all for that absolutely
  22. My only hope is they only have to technically fire the guys with contracts and they just can not bring back Fraizer. Everyone there needs to be gone, just hopefully this is the removal of the people that still had contracts
  23. I really hope our solution to fixing the issue isn’t just firing the safety coach. The entire defensive room is long over due for a clean out
  24. It was definitely more volatile over there. Maybe some of it was the drought and just nothing to be happy about but you had to be ready to roll up your sleeves after almost any opinion. Nobody was glossing over it. You were going to have to argue daily over things that (looking back) were much to do about nothing. That board enjoyed almost no success from a team standpoint. It was elbows up
  25. For the love of god start over completely on defense or we are just wasting dressings of Josh’s prime
