I think because Fred was such a leader on the team his presence.. led to under-development of better RBs on the team. Maybe linemen weren't blocking as hard for say, Lynch, as they would for Fred? Thoughts?

THIS!!!!!!! Is he still alive?

why draft a raw QB when we've got Cardale on the roster
CanadianFan replied to Commish's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
umm I don't know too many QBs who have underwear model bodies. He looks ripped next to Ben R. -
Buffalo News sports department is a joke
CanadianFan replied to bbb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here's a happy story - I came to this board because I got sooooooo FED UP reading BS on BS (Buffalonews Sports) about Bills. It's the worst sports coverage anywhere. I DON'T READ THEM ANYMORE. You guys tell me what's up with Bills before NEWS gets it. Thanks and keep up the good work! xD -
McCoy-Alonso social media war
CanadianFan replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yup I'm with you. fish fans don't have "legend of kiko" thing going on there despite him being cuban and all. These guys are performers at some level. they love being loved! Kiko was on his way to being #1 Bills player with Bills fans. It don't matter it's cold here. With the money he's making he can buy an island in caribbean for off season. -
Bills doing homework on 2017 QBs
CanadianFan replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
do you remember all the Bills talk around Hackenberg before that draft? Did the bills really have an interest in him? I don't think they did. but it moved the Jets to take him earlier than thought. the kid is still on the bench. -
McCoy-Alonso social media war
CanadianFan replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup, good comment. I agree. I also like that McCoy responded the way he did, taking it personally. That's who he is, that's his background, he's not going to take any personal slights, he's being true to himself. Very very few human beings are Russell Wilson-like, being really reflective and having great perspective. I also take it positively that this is going to motivate McCoy. He had one of his best games against the former coach who traded him. Now he got another good reason against the fish. I agree with this. I LOVED what Kiko was here, being that revelation in whatshisname's D. But with that dude gone, it was better he went elsewhere. He is an elite LB in NFL, and will play longer than Shady will in Buffalo, but Shady on another level as an offensive threat. Not production, but potential game breaker everytime he touches the ball. Few players are game breakers on D. -
NFL players in arm wrestling gig in trouble
CanadianFan replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd still like to see the list of players. Apparently Pats had at least one player there: "Steelers linebacker James Harrison, Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills, 49ers linebacker Navorro Bowman, Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey, Raiders punter Marquette King, Raiders defensive end Mario Edwards, Patriots safety Patrick Chung, and Cowboys receiver Lucky Whitehead took part in the event. Marshawn Lynch was also a participant and appears poised to join the Raiders for the 2017 season, but Rapoport reports that his current spot on the reserve/retired list will allow him to avoid a fine." Whom amongst the Bills is most likely to do this? -
They love Bills! http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19124618/lesean-mccoy-calls-kiko-alonso-bum-instagram

I liked what I saw in Houston. He isn't polished. needs a bit more time as backup. on #4 - did you see him in the championship game? He is incredibly poised. He has short comings yes. that's why he's a project. But that poise, usually can't be taught. fix the other aspects, teach him. He'd be better in CFL to develop his game but he's here. hopefully he will develop in 3-4 years time into a backup. and then give a few more to be a starter. He's big, he's strong, and he won't break as easily as TT.

Tell me, is there a single REASON to live in the GLORIOUS PAST of the BILLS? Oh yeah.. there's none. so LET'S NOT!

Report: Seahawks Open to Trading Richard Sherman
CanadianFan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yup, cap issues. they paid some of their guys too much money after the initial superbowls. now they got no cap to keep decent O line. I hear Pats would be interested if Butler is sent to NO. -
We keep talking like this heating up this thread, the more reasons for the management to NOT draft this kid. He's going to be OVER SCRUTINIZED here in WNY area. He'll be compared to his uncle, more so than any QB who ever plays for the Bills. and HE WILL NEVER LIVE UP TO IT. So, yes, even if Bills draft or sign him, 99% chance he'll never make it as a reliable starter.

Tony Romo Retiring to Become a CBS Broadcaster
CanadianFan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
well the drama is FINALLY OVER. -
WOW. I bet you Raiders' fans are screaming at Reggie for not signing him. that would've fit their budget. I think they must've pissed off Zach as per his tweet.
-
Bad news bears. nope. he's out of all rounds with this injury. He was a seriously HIGH RISK prior to this due to his character issues. Now with this, a huge health risk as well? Only 2 teams can save Chad - Bill Belicheat and God. One's good. the other ultimate evil. Either way he has to sell his soul. LMAO.

The McDermott Era begins - Voluntary OTAs
CanadianFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
interesting. thanks for posting. Shady's a vet. often injured so I'll give him a pass on this. I hope he's been working out and doing the work to prevent hammy issues. -
Like someone said, its a huge UNTAPPED market. It is great that Pegulas have built successful businesses, and it is crucial to tapping this market. BUT, this is where Pegulas do NOT have expertise in - CONSUMER MARKETING. They have to build the brand image of the Bills in Canada. Part of it is yes winning. but there are other ways to build brand image. At the moment, due to lack of success, and poor face of franchise players, Bills just haven't had that success in building that brand. For one, I think Shady will be very marketable in Southern Ontario. But there's no marketing. Two - downtown stadium will be crucial. As is, the drive from any of the bridges to Orchard Park adds to the pain. Add the game day traffic. Nope. it's nice and warm in the basement or the at the sports bar. There is a HUGE corporate market in Toronto. They are fools in not having tapped it. The stadium, the team, the facilities as is, just won't do in selling to that market. So yes there is the potential untapped market that can increase the value of the Bills' franchise. But its marketing has not been done well at all. Pegulas will do well in tapping some Canadian sports marketing execs in this regard. Toronto based pro teams have done well maximizing revenue generation. They are available for hire.

Bills Acquire Brady in Massive Trade
CanadianFan replied to Norwood for Wall of Fame's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah we'll probably do it when Brady's 54. and give Pats the next 10 first round picks.
