The “Draft Capital” is over rated
JohnBonhamRocks replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I personally see Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield as the Big 3, and the new chart says we can trade #21, #22 and Glenn to get up to #3 overall and ensure we get one. Totally worth it. Then you still have two 2nd round picks, the rest of the draft, and over $30 million in cap space to fill out WR/OG/DT/LB/CB. -
Playoffs or high draft pick
JohnBonhamRocks replied to berg1029's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Make the playoffs and end the 17 year drought, then trade up and take a QB. We don't have to be a middling team. There doesn't have to be an either-or scenario. We can actually just flat out be successful if we quit acting like it's impossible. -
Groy will fill in perfectly at center

I'd be okay with this: Dawkins-Incognito-Groy-draft pick_vs_Ducasse_vs_Miller-Hubbard(PIT) -
I'm not saying we currently have a Super Bowl roster. But we did make the playoffs. We're set with starters at HB, FB, TE, LT, LG, C (yes, Groy), possibly RG (Ducasse was not abysmal and Miller might come back with new scheme), WR1/2 depending on your impression of Benjamin, possibly DT (if Williams comes re-signed), both DEs, 1-2 LBs (if Brown is re-signed), 1-2 CBs (if Gaines is re-signed), both S, K, P, and LS. Really need a QB, maybe WR2, RT, DT, LB, and maybe a RG, and another DT, LB, and CB. But you should be able to scratch a good 3- of those off with FA. A lot depends on re-signing our own and FA. Far and away, QB is more important than any of those. If you trade up for one, yeah it sucks to have to pay draft capital, but you still have picks outside the 1st round you can use.

Ryan Groy Verified account @disGROYer79 Went to first ever yoga class this morning. Went to do an inverted chair headstand and completely crushed the metal chair into pieces and crashed to the ground...talk about a stress relieving session! #300lbweightlimit #yoga -
I see Darnole/Rosen/Mayfield as the Big 3 and would be happy to get any of them. So, yes I support a trade up to 2 or 3, although looking at that new version of the trade value chart, it seems as if the price is a lot steeper to go to 2 than to 3, by 150-200 points if I recall correctly. Regardless, I like that both NYG and IND have atrocious OL, which to me means we could very likely add in Glenn, if healthy, to sweeten the pot. Might avoid sending them our 2019 first round pick. Judging by Manning's dance moves, he's playing til 40 at least.

It is an if, but not sure it is gimondulous. As appealing as that word is to me. 2017: 2 2016: 15 2015: 14 2014: 0 2013: 7 2012: 16 2011: 10 2010: 16 He's averaging 10 games per year. I get that injuries are cumulative. I also get that sports medicine is only getting better. I think we can squeeze him for 2-4 games. But really it's pretty random whether or not he gets injured again. On that I think we can both agree. While I doubt Mayfield falls, I am on board for drafting 2 QBs. If we ended up with one of those top 6 in the 1st round and then went back and picked up Falk in the 3rd or 4th, I'd be happy we're at least trying. But really I want us to trade up to 3 because I see Darnold/Rosen/Mayfield as all really worth it.

If we trade up for one of the big 3 QBs (I consider that to be Darnold/Rosen/Mayfield), then I would not mind bringing in Bradford. Injuries, I know, but if he can give us 2-4 games either after beating out the rookie (he has the talent) or coming off the bench, then he would be worth it as he will likely be fairly cheap.

Would you eat horse poo for a Bills Superbowl win?
JohnBonhamRocks replied to whiteboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean... how much? And do I have proof of this? If so, then think of how you would basically have a key to the City of Buffalo for the rest of your life. You'd probably get a poo-related Bills statue, too. Could be a very worthwhile investment. -

I did think of him during the post-game celebration because that must be tough. To answer the question though - motivated. I bet he feels motivated. -

I enjoyed Tide, Doritos/Mountain Dew, Giants dancing, and Solo/Infinity War trailers. However, still eagerly awaiting the return of PuppyMonkeyBaby. -
Never draft a RB in the 1st round
