  1. Correct Using second contract signed w same team that drafted them to evaluate WRs is not a great methodology
  2. hone 1. : to sharpen or smooth with a whetstone. what's wrong w headed
  3. And at that point Sherfield had dropped another big one too So no issues passing him up for diggs at that point, then no issues w passing up diggs after his drop for Shakir later either
  4. Agree on Allen But KC is not the template. They have a HoF offensive HC considered one of the best to ever do it and a HoF TE considered one of the best to ever do it. They've never not had at least one surefire HOF offensive weapon.
  5. I don't know if this is an answer to your question But playing outside receiver means you can win at release vs different CB looks/leverages which TEs really can't do effectively, not twitchy enough...much easier for TEs to carve out space and present a good target releasing emlos or slot Yes that can be learned imo, and combined w understanding of coverages is what makes a great TE but the tools that make a great TE do not translate outside, in fact they work against you
  6. Doubt you or anyone here could even get off the line vs NFL corners
  7. Looking that wa Luckily that's Houstons problem now Concerns re route design and progressions still remain tho imo
  8. Just watched it Calls out diggs multiple times for effort for all the 'he just wants to win' crowd
  9. Lol at anyone saying anything other than zero
  10. ok do you think the Falcons regret trading for Julio Jones lol of course not, they got one of the best wideouts in NFL history. The fact that he didn't win a Super Bowl is completely irrelevant. Lots of great players never win Super Bowls and lots of mediocre ones do. That doesn't mean you want fewer great players and more mediocre ones on your roster
  11. ridiculous take the Bills gave up top level draft assets to trade up for Josh Allen who has never won a super bowl i suppose you'd call that a mistake
  12. Not sure why this is getting heat It's a very realistic scenario imo
  13. i know this is going to sound like hindsight or sour grapes or splitting hairs or whatever but Diggs' productivity has never (to me) been indicative of his actual abilities as a wideout. we all know his good qualities that helped accumulate those stats. buthe's not a threat after the catch, he's of middling size, and imo his disappearing act in the postseason is largely a result of his lack of the kind of elite physical tools im talking about wanting in your top wideout. diggs is good enough paired w allen to be a top5ish wideout in the regular season. but as stated since we lack top level offensive minds on staff we need guys on offense who can play above scheme in the playoffs. i don't trust our philosophy being capable of elevating a lot of good not great players in the bigger moments
  14. Could not disagree more w this Leaving aside the fact that the Chiefs do in fact have one of the best options in NFL history in Kelce as have the last five super bowl participants...we typically get exposed in the playoffs for being deficient at a lot of areas I don't have to go into because it will sidetrack discussion. Those deficiencies are only going to be overcome w top level talent as the Bills do not have nor seem interested in sourcing top level offensive staff
  15. Ok and I'm saying I think that's a bad idea
  16. Do you mean the Green Bay method that wasted Rodgers career or the one w Matt Lafluer designing the offense
  17. I won't speak for Reid, but Kelce was averaging almost 1000yards a season w Alex Smith...Hill has two absolutely elite seasons in Miami w Tua post KC...the argument that they aren't two all time greats w/out Mahomes doesn't hold water
