  1. Yeh real men used to be unable to adapt and loved complaining on the internet.
  2. If you don’t skin your dead family members and use their hides as belts and leather goods you are for sure a ****.
  3. I think it’s not so much ‘Our QB doesn’t know how to grip the ball properly’ as it is ‘our QB doesn’t know how to explain things without sounding like he doesn’t know what’s going on’ type deal in Bmore.
  4. No doubt he contributed to the run game. He also contributed to a very anemic passing offense. And are you just forgetting about 2017? Hardly a run game to brag about...pretty sure he was on that unit.
  5. Important to remember that he signed the deal, then backed out and forced the Bills to list him as retired after not showing up for workouts. This is a guy whose career (and life, quite possibly) the Buffalo Bills resurrected, then he snakes his way out as if they hadn't just offered him a deal that would have put him in the top 25 guards today, salary-wise. And EVEN AFTER ALL THAT they still obliged him by taking him off the retired list so he could be an UFA, at which point he starts Twitter-baiting other potential teams while taking shots at the Bills...all while apparently suffering from liver and kidney failure that must have miraculously healed. Loved him while he was here, but he went out with a whimper and I don't like former Bills making a mess on their way out.
  6. As a rule I generally tip 25% unless the service is particularly bad.
  7. It’s the sort of thing a second year NFL QB with a proper management team would be coached to NOT say in interviews/off the cuff remarks . Regardless of his supposed intellect or lack thereof. To me it speaks to a guy who isn’t being well prepared for the scrutiny a starting QB job.
  8. Not really. It was laid out pretty clearly in the article. The idea that Jackson not knowing the offense was excusable because 'many' people weren't aware that a Roman offense was likely to be different than a Mornhinweg one, or that he'd somehow have violated the NFLPA by knowing Baltimore was going to have a new offensive system, is tenuous. It doesn't take much insight to see through that argument. I was just commenting on the fact that conflating 'many' with 'many in the Ravens organization' in an attempt to prove Jackson's not an imbecile is the rhetorical equivalent of a 13 on the Wonderlic.
  9. Yall weird muh*****ers summer don't start till June 21 where I'm from
  10. Yo not to jump in or anything but the article in question is NOT referring, when it says ‘many’, to people in the Ravens organization specifically. At least not that I can tell. Those ‘many’ people could be media, fans, residents of Baltimore, people familiar with Greg Roman, or just a bunch of people the writer got together and asked ‘hey, who here thought the Ravens’ 2019 offense under Roman is going to be basically the same as 2018?’ and if more than two people raised their hands...there’s your ‘many’.
  11. Gotta get on that new Tesla level...falcon wings. They might’ve had a chance.
  12. For an undersized DT like he was, I wouldn’t be surprised if he lost a bunch of weight after he retired. There are a ton of stories of former NFL players who walk around way lighter than they used to play at. Unreal athlete no doubt, I heard he was a monster on the basketball court too.
  13. No but I sure hope both teams won or at least tied that game!!!
  14. This I must dispute...pizza historians of old have long held that the portion of the crust under the other ingredients (variously described as the 'undercrust' or 'secondary crust') is subject to various temperature and moistness gradients due to both its proximity to the cooking surface and by being submerged beneath any given number of ingredient spheres, including but not limited to cheese and tomato sauce. Thus the outer crust, by nature disinterred and cooked unencumbered by aforementioned ingredients, is correctly established as a separate entity from the colloquial 'crust' as a whole notwithstanding personal preference as to the portion of the pie most favored.
  15. Tomato sauce, bacon, jalapeno, pineapple is the correct way to make that pie
  16. It's the second most important part of the pizza imo. First is assuring an appropriate amount of pineapple/square inch.
  17. I guess there's some closure in another Targaryen living out his days way up north. And I'll just leave it at this because there's definitely been enough written about this last season...but as someone who read the book series (I am a passing fantasy fan, not a huge Martin guy by any means) that was a pretty weak Great Council considering they basically rewrote the succession rules from primogeniture to electorate.
