You've not listened in a while I take it. Greg B has been gone about a year now I think. I did find him funny. I think they're using/abusing him like they did Brad Riter before he got fed up and left. Kind of like hey we need you to work Wednesday morning show. Thursday afternoon show. Fill in for John Murphy Friday night and then be ready for your own show Saturday also. I actually thought Joe B would go national a couple years ago. I don't feel that way anymore. I think he's slipped some and the hate on for EJ warranted or not is coming off poorly from just a commentary basis.

I like Sal a lot and will say he is a refreshing change on WGR. I would pay money to the station if they would dump Schopp and replace him with Sal.

Maybe this is new but when entering the stadium last Saturday I noticed an employee at each gate with a wheelchair just waiting. I don't know if that was pre arranged or not but I don't remember noticing that before. I'm so glad we can cross Niagara Falls off that list. If it even matters. I don't think Batavia was ever really under consideration either. That group may have some common sense.

Piling on. I wasn't blown away with the renovations. Didn't really expect to be though. I was expecting lipstick on a pig and that's what it is to me. I was in the Van club and they did nothing there except the TV's are new Samsungs. Well I guess I'm wrong as there was $7 La Nova slices which by the way while expensive, sure as hell were tasty. Wings looked like a joke. The concessions stand was the worst ever but it always is at the first pre season game. A ticket rep apologized and I said I expected it from first time volunteers. She said well there hourly employees now. Oh. Well then that is ridiculous and unacceptable I said. A line four people deep and it's twenty minutes to get your order? To answer earlier questions about sec. 235A that is indeed a suite at the end of the old press box and belongs to the Seneca Niagara Casino. It was a very nice suite. The sound system while always bad, took it to a new level. I thought they were adding new speakers but I think they just turned it way up. WAY UP. I also thought I heard Russ say they were going to show full screen replays on the new big board. Same old crap with different advertisers up there and it is such a waste of viewing area. As always.

I think the league's stance is that we need a stadium is to increase revenue to visiting teams. In other words higher ticket prices. They do get approve the new owner and I have to believe that Tommy G and El Pegual would both be rubber stamped and both will indicate their intent to build a new stadium. Although I would expect it to go like this. So Tommy G you have stadium plan? Yes I do. I'll work with county and state governments and utilize all available funding and we'll utilize the stadium location group to come with a site. El Pegual your stadium plans? I am going to help continue to revitalize the city and we're going to relocate the few people that still reside in the Perry St projects and raze those dilapidated buildings and build it there and this over here on that table under the cover is our model of it. It is certainly relevant what happens with existing personnel when the new owner comes aboard. In fact I could argue reasons if Trump or Tommy won then certain people would be very short lived in their positions. I won't but I could.

I've spoken up on his behalf in the past and no doubt will again. Even in this thread people complaining that he should just be marketing etc etc. His current role he is Mr. everything to this franchise and he is doing it well. He is the face of the franchise and I don't see it as odd that he's in the room for these presentations. There is likely no one more capable and qualified to speak and make a presentation of the franchise really. No? Now it would be odd if at the end of a presentation he spins for a job lol but I believe whoever buys, retains him and retains him in his current role. El Pegual knows the team is headed in the right direction and Russ should be rewarded for that. He sucks as a GM but he's not the GM.

Well I guess that makes sense and they would already have windows then but not big sliders like the rest of the suites. Although I guess they cold renovate that whole press box area to separate broadcast and suites. Curious though that they would add suites or clubs when they can sell all of what they have now. Unless they realize that with winning comes demand. And we will be winning going forward!

No I'm not sure at all other than looking at that new stadium layout that Jack provided. It seems to me that those are an extension of the clubs. It has been talked about for a few years actually of moving the press box and adding more seats there. This diagram looks to me like that is exactly what they've done.

Interesting Jack. They've added a big section to both the Van and Paul Clubs and now instead of the 20 you can be at the 40 for the best seat in each. I doubt they added any extra bars, bathrooms or food in those two clubs so sadly they become more overcrowded like the Kelly Club. But that's ok I guess. The real benefits lie everywhere else in the stadium and I could be wrong, maybe they added more bars or temporary booths to accommodate the extra seats. As a ballpark I'm guessing an extra 500 Club seats. I am looking forward to walking around and seeing all the changes at the Saturday pre season game. No better time to wander the stadium than the fourth quarter of that game lol.

Ha ha ha ha ha Nobody from Buffalo will ever go to a Toronto Bills game. You think the other owners are darlings as to how they came into money? You think the league would decide to allow a team to move to Toronto and then have to deal with whatever the Government would then unleash on the with anti trust laws etc.?
